"I do need to get some white pearls." Robin mentions to the captains as they are shopping for things. "I have a spell, one that grants luck to a single person, that takes white pearls for me to be able to cast. If we can get a few of those it would be nice to have on hand. They normally go for 100 gold." She leaves it up to the captains to bargain for the pearls though, as they seem to be handling that nicely so far.

Looks like we’ve got gunpowder, so would other ingredients (shell casings/primers/bullets) be needed to manufacture modern bullets? Or do we want to keep what gunpowder we have for cannons and such and see if pre-made modern bullets are available here?
”Birdie” will bring these things up while trying not to derail other negotiations.
When negotiations simmer down he will inquire, “Do you have items that can grant a ‘sort of luck’? Like a cloak of protection (maybe flavored as a sash or bandana or something piratey).Or astone of good luck (luckstone) (maybe flavored as a gem in a piratey earring)?”

Fortunately, you have a good few artificers in the group. There is a good bit of scrap brass and lead in the junk piles out front, you could get some of that for cheap.)

“Ye gots anythin that would help me sneakin around the crimsons? I’m not normally the quiet type, but i find meself needin to sneak aboard ships a lot.
Fer the group- we probably could use one o those bags whot holds more than they should- or even one o them portable holes. And if ye gots a spell storin ring… heh.. I got some ideas fer that..”
"Birdie" is trying to contain his excitement. His eyebrows leap upward and a smile is immediately stifled as he turns away and leans into the Captains' ears and whispers,
"I'm willing to risk it, if you can make it happen."
“aye Birdie- anything ye needs t get the job done. This gold ain’t doin us no good sittin here in a box. We needs to make sure we’re good n ready fer a battle” Cass says with a smile

"Lordy, how much stuff do you need lady? Very well, I have this here cloak for ye. It's four hundred. The other items ye speak of sound rather rare, I don't believe I have 'em in stock."
(Sorry, but y'all are a level 5 party. Your sheer numbers will already curbstomp anything 10 CR or below, those two items would take you from op to absolutely broken.)

(For clarity, the bandana is a reflavored cloak of protection? Then, is it one or two earrings which is/are reflavored luckstone(s)? Curious as to how many earrings “Birdie” needs to swap out and if it’s really two luckstones, that would be crazy.)
(once the exchange between Birdie and the shopkeep has finished, Ceesh will go back to the lady and say;)
"It does catch my eye, but the most I'd be willin' tae pay fer it would be.. Seven fifty. Look, I don' know you, I don't know yer reliability, and no offense, bu' I don' know if I can trust yer product. I might be willing to go up to Fifteen Hundred, if you throw in a couple of those pearls, a bit o' the scrap metal outside, and I'll even take some of that pond water off yer hands so ye dinnae have tae worry aboot it. Wha' dae ye think Cass? She migh' get more business if we clean the place up a bit,"
At this, he'll wink at Cass, showing that he's got an idea for all of this stuff and knowing that looks, will indeed, help her foot traffic.
"And if we like what we get, I might even consider sending some extra business yer way! Fair compensation fer a bit o' gold I'd say!"

(The bandanna is a old cloak of protection resewn into a bandanna. The earrings only count as a luckstone when both are worn, and the pair takes one attunement slot. The full set of bandanna and earrings will take 2 attunement slots.)
