2500 for cannon + pearls + scrap metal + Pond Poison [I vote we call the poison "Pond Scum" but would love any other recommendations]
350? For the cursed pot luck
and stealing a dragon book for 700
so 3550 total? and we had 4200 right? So we are currently at 650? am I mathing correctly? If so, is there anything else we want? I know there was some talk of a cloak of elvenkind? Where did we fall on that interest/price-wise?
I think that’s right. cass wanted the cloak.
cass can use shape water to bottle the nasty stuff without touching it, maybe?
Shape water won't work, this stuff is not even remotely related to water anymore.
I never actually specified a price for the cloak, so it'll be 300.

"With this sort of tome at my disposal..." Robin says, as she runs a hand over the dragon scale cover. "I expect to see some mighty magics out of myself..." She seems a bit, shocked, at the turn of events.
Is there anything else to do or are you ready to leave the shop?

Gianna volunteers to bottle some of the stuff. You see her face scrunch up while doing it, bleh so gross!

Make a Slight of Hand check to avoid splashing it on you. (you might be immune to the poisonous fumes, but touching it is another story)

”What’s the hurry? If you give me time to attune to these new items I just got, I stand a better chance of success.”
After attunement, “Birdie” can get a +5 to Sleight of Hand and +8 on Con saves should he spill. Someone could provide the Help action and he could have advantage. Further, Cap’n Cass could cast Guidance and give 1d4 in assistance.
Or Tuna already has a +7 to Sleight of Hand, though his Con save is less should he spill. But Help and Guidance would pretty much never fail so the Con save might be moot.

(We still need to get payment, grab the bottles, and take the scrap metal back to the ship. Maybe in all that time Birdie can stay behind and attune to the items?)
Sounds good. Birdie will sit in the courtyard tying his bandanna while the others get the supplies, which goes without incident.
Birdie Only:
You wrap the bandanna around your head and put on the earrings. With the final knot of the bandanna, you notice your head feels warm and cozy. It's a fine bandanna, very fine. You've never felt such a cozy sensation in your life. It makes you feel safe, secure, nay, bulletproof. You feel like as long as you have these adornments on your head, you are safe. But, you also feel a gnawing worry in the back of your head. This feeling of security, it comes from these items. What if they were destroyed? Or stolen? You would be incomplete without them. These items are priceless to you. Without this sense of security, you would be lost. This headgear will comfort you to the day you die. Regardless of your previous relationships, anyone who touches your precious bandanna and earrings, must be trying to steal them, and so they must pay dearly for trying. You will fiercely guard them with your life, allowing none to remove them from you.
Such is the Curse of Captain Carlyle.
These items have a curse, but they still work as intended. If you ever decide to de-attune one or both of these items, you will suffer the opposite effect of the removed item for one week after the de-attunement. (For example, when you de-attune the Cloak of protection, the +1 AC will become a -1 AC for the next week after you remove the cloak.)

When the crew returns, they find “Birdie” sitting in the shade with a smug look on his face. An air of confidence bordering on arrogance in his demeanor. You note that the blue bandana has replaced the Monmouth cap he always wore as well as a couple of amethyst earrings have replaced a couple of baubles he used to wear.
”Welcome back, all. What took you so long? I was beginning to think I’d need to bring you the pond scum one cupped handful at a time.” He says as he smiles and stands ready for the Captains’ orders.
In an afternoon of work, the Stone has been hoisted up into the drydock, and is being scrubbed down to prepare for its plating.
(Captains, please decide if you want to keep exploring the city or just do downtime for the two weeks you are grounded)

Bit of both. I have my work cut out for me making toxin grenades, installing a cannon, giving Ventum a self-defense system, and fixing up a Shield Guardian. I do have a question pertaining to the Cannon and the Repeating Shot infusion, which is can I use it on the cannon?

(Repeating shot will partially work on the cannon, skipping the loading phase, thus reducing the firing time from 3 turns down to 2. However, the infinite ammo will not apply to the cannon (that's a bit broken), you have to cast your own balls and supply your powder. Once the cannon is installed to the ship and Repeating shot is casted, the cannon will teleport the proper ammunition and powder into its barrel from anywhere on the ship.)
The cannon has a small notebook written by Searlus tied to the back. The notebook summarizes the method of loading, firing, cleaning, and aiming the device. It specifies that the cannon needs 6 inches of rope per shot for a fuse, and cannon fires 24-pound iron balls, though he mentions that the cannon would be able to launch just about anything that could survive the blast if ammo was scarce. For firing, it needs 7 pounds of blasting powder, to fire it's half-mile range, but it can be over-filled to extend its range to a mile, though this carries the risk of a disastrous misfire.
(The material cost per shot was taken from an 1860's US Army manual for 24 pound cannons, which were the standard big guns for the time. Yeah, 7 pounds of blasting powder is gonna be expensive but hey, I don't make the rules, the US Army does :P )
