You soon realize that what you considered art at first are in fact a training diagrams. Each of them shows a different attack or defense pose, for dagger or staff users. What's strange is, that the people in the diagrams are painted very carefully and in much more detail than would be needed. Each of the pictures contains the same people, a female and a male. The male seems quite young, you would guess he is in his 20s, the woman seems rougly a generation older.
If you'd like to check them further make an investigation roll please.
Kitchen:
As Zuri checks the room, she spots the cat she was following from the hallway and another cat, this one with and orange fur, standing in the corner of the kitchen, standing in front of several ceramic bowl painted with stylized cats. The bowls are filled with water and freshly cooked foot. You guess that the food in the bowl is the source of the smell.
Meanwhile, the servants answer:
It must be at least fifty years says one No no you are wrong again, it must be sixtyinterrupts the other Well, I've said AT LEAST haven't I, Mr. knows-it-all? At least fifty can also mean a thousand, so your answer was completely useless to them. Thousand? Don't be ridiculous, unlike you they seem intelligent. They do understand that I meant a bit over fifty. If you meant BIT OVER, why didn't you say BIT OVER? ... the fight between them continues for a few more minutes... Anyway, are you sure you do not want some soup, or maybe bread? Or we can clean your clothes, I am very good at cleaning clothes, Master Fistandia always said so. Yes she said so because she didn't want to make you feel sad, but she always preferred me to clean her clothes. ... a few more moments later... So what about the clothes? Or the food? Can we be of assistance, please?
Zuri looks at her clothes, the leather armour she is wearing could use some cleaning. She doesn´t really trust the mechanical things but their bickering is starting to get a little annoying.
"Here, you can clean this for me if you want." She says as she takes it off. After that she will try and pet one of the cats that is nearest to her.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Mydri is interested. Why would anyone draw that kind of a picture so carefully? She looks back at the mannequin. What if she tries the moves shown? But fighting with a trident wasn't as fighting with a quarterstaff or a dagger, it wouldn't work. She keeps looking at the the pictures a little more. Maybe she'll notice something more.
Oh thank you lady I will make it look like new in no time. No I will. She clearly gave it to me. Yes but she was looking at me and you've just snatched it. That's not tr... their fight is interrupted by Gethin.
The cat you followed is occupied by the food and by hissing at the other cat anytime it tries to get to the bowl too. So instead of the bowls, the orange cat takes interest in you. At first she carefully approaches and tries to sniff your hand. When it is sure you pose no danger it lets you pet its head and starts to purr.
Yes a BIT OVER fifty years. *makes a strange steam engine-like sound (you assume it's an equivalent of clearing of its throat)* Stop it, Cumin !We were taking care of the mansion and the pets ever since. You can look around, just don't destroy anything. Our Masters also forbade us from touching a few specific books, but they never explained why. Yes, I was getting to that. No you weren't, you were just going to rumble some nonsense like always. Where were I... See! You've already got lost... since Coriander can't keep it's mind focused, I must warn you about the dragons in the arboretum. They are harmless, but mischievous. Yes they can be quite annoying, but not as much as Cumin. Why don't you start with cleaning the lady's cloths, mister look-at-me-I-am-so-adorable? So now you agree It was ME who should do it? At least we are getting somewhere.
When they are done with their arguing, the servant takes the Zuri's clothing, a series of small contraptions erect from its body, first of which releases a stream of hot hot steam, another add liquid similar to soap. A small mechanical hands gently clean every bit of the cloth using the soap. When the creature seems happy with it's work, it get rids of all of the remaining soap and drys the cloth using another contraption, this one producing warm dry air. Use the scent, use the scent! Of course I was going to use it, I am not doing it for the first time, you know!? With a puff, the last contraption releases a cloud of lavender smelling essence, that fills the whole room. Here, I hope the lady is pleased with result! Is there anything else we might do for you? And it hands you back your cloth much cleaner than you've ever seen it.
There's nothing more except the obvious fighting techniques that you are able to discern from the pictures.
Mydri:
Deep inside you mind, you have a strange feeling about the figures. For some reason you believe there is a large power in them. You have no idea how you know it. But you know it is one of those strange thoughts you sometimes have.
'Maybe after all...' Mydri thinks and studies the pictures for a moment more before walking back and standing in front of the mannequin. Her trident isn't a quarterstaff, but maybe she could use it as an improvised one. She tries to take the stance shown in the pictures, and then tries to recreate a few of the manoeuvres in the pictures.
If nothing special happens, she stops, slightly disappointed, and walks to the broom and, in a manner she finds completely normal, she asks it: "Who drew these pictures? Who are the people in them?"
Nothing strange happens, the broom doesn't seem to mind you and just continues with its duties.
*Due to you trying the various techniques, you get one time inspiration-like point. (You can only use it against one melee attack against you or anyone who is in your melee range and cause the attack to have disadvantage)*
Mydri:
Just a small specification/correction, you felt the person in the pictures are somehow powerful, not the pictures themselves
(I understood that. However, I doubt Mydri will be able to discern much more about the matter.)
Ignored, as usual, even by a broom. Or, perhaps, she had misjudged it to a living object, just beacuse it moved by itself. She looks at the pictures one last time before exiting the room. Perhaps she had learnt something from staying in the room. Those powerful people must be important, but Mydri didn't know much of people who were not her family. She doubts she'll be able to recall anything about them, even had she tried.
Leaving the room, she looks left and right, searching for anyone around. If she sees none, she continues to the next door on the left corridor. That feeling she had earlier... right before she entered through this... how did he call it? Portal? That feeling didn't feel like it was gone. Mydri was still curious. Perhaps she'll meet one of the people in the pictures. Not that she was excited to meet anyone, but at least she could see if they really are powerful as she had thought.

Zuri will take back the now clean leather armour and put it back on. "That was faster than I expected and I just love the smell of lavender. Thank you!" She says with a bright smile, maybe there´s really nothing bad about these little mechanical creatures.
She will look back down at the adorable orange kitty at her feet and pet it bit more while asking: "Do these cats have names? They are so adorable."
See, the Lady likes my work. She would surely not be so happy with yours... ehm, I am sorry for this... yes, this one is called Olarune. Master Fistandia was an astronomy aficionado.
Arcana check (read all that qualify) DC 5:
You know one of the months in the commonly used calendat is called Olarune
DC 10:
You also know that one of the moons orbiting Eberron has the same name. The 12 months are named after the 12 moons of Eberron.
DC 15:
Olarune the moon appears in a pale orange color in the sky.
((I am not sure where Frank is currently , so you might see him and he might follow you))
There are only two more doors in the left side of hallway: The one you are about to enter leading to a room bordering the training room you've just left and a door at the very end of the hallway (not on the side like the other ones, hope it makes sense)
As you enter the door, you realize you are in a library. Tall shelves filled with books line the walls of this room. Two more shelves run through the middle of the room with a ten-foot-wide aisle between them. Several stacks of books are piled high throughout the room. There are small reading desks with cozy scarlet chairs in the corners.
As soon as you enter, a small heap of books in the far corner of the room rises, and starts to hover in the air forming a vortex like shape. The shape starts to slowly move towards you and on its way, it manages to knock over one of the shelves in the middle of the room.

Gethin idly follow her into the room and smiles as he sees books, so many books. A treasure trove of words for him to explore
His smile fades as some of them rise up of their own accord. Over Mydri's shoulder he cannot quite see clearly. He steps aside to get a better looks and tries to see what magic could possibly be doing such a thing.
This didn't seem a friendly cluster of books to Mydri. Never had she been on a good relationship with a book for long, but these seemed particularly hostile. Almost as if led by the weapon she's holding, rather than lead it herself, Mydri enters a defensive stance. "Ignore me and I'll ignore you?" Her soft voice suggests.
The books keep coming closer. They are roughly 30 feet away from the door where Mydri is standing.
Everyone who is currently with Mydri roll an initiative please. You can also describe you intentions for the first round of combat. (The Book Swarm will be able to reach the door during its turn and make an action)
Gethin looks at the mechanical servants, his investigator instincts kick in
"Thank you, I believe we are fine. Do you know where the owners of this place are, when did you last see them?"

Subconsciously sounding like a guard investigating a crime scene Gethin continues
"So the owners have been away for fifty years or more? Very well. You do not mind if we look around do you?"
He casts his eyes around the kitchen, looking for anything more unusual than magical animated servants. Or at least equally unusual and less chatty.
