Faen is going to walk over to the east hallway and see if she can detect any other sounds coming from it. Her hand cupped over one pointed ear, as she leans into the doorway.
Spending some time looking around the chamber doesn’t prove fruitful for anything that resembles a key. Listening down the east passage, Faen hears and feels a constant breeze of cool air funneling through the passage. Beyond that, nothing more. Teleya, the pixie notices and glides through the air toward her. “Um-- I’m not sure what’s down there.” She says and fidgets by playing with her hair. “Drywhel said it’s not a safe place for pixies.” She looks over her shoulder at the west passage. “Drywhel's hut is that way. We could see if he's home. Maybe he knows about this door.” she gestures.
Jinx investigates the West passage stepping behind the pixie to prevent any of her party members from moving before she's checked for traps or other dangers.
"Stay put. This is all too curious for anyone to wander without looking around first. Teleya whens the last time you were down here if the stone door is so curious," she asks the pixie while looking around.
The pixie scratches her chin in thought, "Maybe... One week ago? I came down to help Drywhel look for lilac mushrooms." she says.
Inspecting the west passage, Jinx finds no devices or traps in sight. She only hears the loud echo of dripping water down the way. Both the east and the west passages stretch for about 50 feet, then turn into another corridor at the end, blocking line of sight.
The pixie leads the group down the west passage, a trail of golden dust streaming behind her as she floats through the air. The passage is a narrow, only 5 feet wide, 'L' shape cavern corridor. Moving down it and around the corner reveals another chamber. The cavern ceiling is 45 feet high and is dotted with small stalactites. A pair of holes allow beams of sunlight to enter, creating a dim light in the chamber.
"Oh my." Says Teleya, her voice echoing off the cavern walls. "It's so dark. This won't do." She raises her hands in front of her, chants a few words to cast dancing lights. A group of four glowing butterflies take flight, spreading bright light throughout the room. There are other features including some pools of water, large moss covered stones and plants. A small wooden hut sits in the corner, no lights or noises coming from inside. "Drywhel--are you here?" Teleya calls out, but nobody answers.

Jinx looks around the cavern investigation 21 for danger; and listens for anything usual in the cavern 7 lean back towards Snowhunter whispering "I've got a bad feeling about this," to the druid in Dwarvish.

The door of the hut is slightly ajar, there are some markings that suggest a struggle or perhaps it's just an old hut. There is a druidic rune plainly written above the door that only Dmitrei can read. The rune reads: Drywhel, Circle of the Stag. Teleya flies next to Dmitrei and taps on the door with her fist, as if to knock. No response from within.
Jinx's inspection of the room reveals no mechanical traps have been set; however, both her and Faen suddenly hear a familiar buzzing noise coming from down the cooridor behind them.
Jinx readies her maul flanking Thokk. "Let's see if we can dirty that ace again," she whispers to the barbarian waiting to see the bug too but moving to I8 from the entrance.

Bug indeed. From out of the darkness of the corridor, another giant mantis crawls. Its wings buzz and it looks upon all of you with glowing red eyes. It raises its sharp scythelike arms and prepares to pounce. However; just before it does, the buzzing noise intensifies. Another mantis crawls from the sunlit hole above, it drops down into the room its wings rapidly vibrate and keep the creature aloft in the air. Finally, a third mantis creeps out from behind the hut, its bladed arms have a sticky dark brown color splattered on them. Teleya gulps, and Dmitrie can tell she’s nervous she might pass out again...
