Llmar and Saede are having a conversation near the treatment rooms. Ilmar stops talking as he sees you, and Saede looks at you skeptically.

Her heart flutters a bit as she finds Llmar and Saeth/Saede in conversation... every time she sees him it makes her a bit weak in the knees  "Llmar? Oh, there you are... Oh.... I'm sorry, are you busy?  I was just going to ask if you had time to give me a pedicure.... that was such a wonderful massage earlier and I thinking that a pedicure would be really nice... Do I need to schedule that or, when are you available?" she asks trying to be as nonchalant as possible 

He gives you a look and wonders if you all are done with the Shrine. He pauses for a moment quickly glancing a Saeth, indicating that as long as he's not occupied, Saeth will wander the grounds. He looks at you warmly.

"Of course, my dear. I am available for anything for you, anytime. All you need to do is call my name. Would you..like to do this now?"

“Oh it doesn’t have to be right now, you’re busy… but maybe in like an hour?” She asks. She desperately wants to tell him what’s going on but also knows that can’t afford to blow anyone’s cover. “So, I’ll see you in an hour then.“ She turns, her heart beating hard, and heads back out the way she came. She quickly navigates her way back to the shrine “Llmar is still keeping Saeth occupied, we have an hour to go check out the temple area.” she tells the others. 

"Absolutely, my love. I shall be here. Come, Saeth. I have more to show you." Ilmar slowly turns back to him and resumes his ruse.

Back at the shrine, Isa walks back in crunching through the broken glass once again...she calls for Hino and Barbar and then walks up to Emporious who was still sitting there all catatonic like and she starts snapping her fingers in his face "HEY! EMPORIOUS! C'mon, let's go, we have very little time" 

Once she has everyones attention "We only have an hour to get into the temple and and search it - Emporious, have you found another way in or do we have to use the door?"

Unable to utilize his own senses while communing with Archimedes, Emporious doesn't register Isa"s snapping. However, almost as if on cue he snaps out of his trance just in time to hear Isa as if he had foind another way in. Rising to his feet he dusts himself off and replies, "No. I only saw the front door as the only viable way in. I attempted to look inside, but all the windows were way to dirty. I noticed, that although you didn't ask, Sylverie didn't mention Falthrax being down there with her. I failed to see him as well. I would suppose then that he is in the tower. If we knew for sure I would suggest simply burning down the tower around the hags. There by destroying the paintings that hold sway and the evil that created them all in one fell swoop. But the possibility that he could be harmed negates that. If it is aggreable with everyone I can place my manifestation inside the tower without any of us venturing in and can there by scout it with out unsealing it. I don't know of a much less invasive way of getting inside other than a full frontal assault. Maybe Llmar has some more information. For example, do the hags ever leave the tower? If so, when and by what means. Do they leave as a group or is there ever a time when the are alone? The rest of us could remain out of sight in here while you go ask." Emporious asks, unaware of the hour timeline or that Isa had even spoke to Llmar already.

"AAHHHHH!!!" Isa retorts in frustration while throwing her arms up in the air "Did you not hear what I just said?!  I just went to talk to Llmar and he's busy keeping Saeth occupied and he told me we ONLY have an hour... we have to get moving!  You would know that if you weren't in some damned catatonic state, pay attention!" she takes a deep breath trying to calm herself down, he's never going to find a wife if he can't listen she thinks to herself... then again, he might not want a mate.  She looks him dead in the eye answering his first comments about Falthrax "And of course I didn't ask about Falthrax, why in the hell would she know... she's been in here for 10 years.... besides that, none of us saw anyone else down there, you would know that if you had been down there with us.... but nooooooo, you were up here all catatonic like.  You do realize this is a prison, right? and unless they fed Falthrax to her, Sylvarie would have zero knowledge up him" she state emphatically as she holds up her right hand signaling a big fat 0.

Isa closes her eyes for a bit and says nothing and simply takes a long deep breath, then with as calmly as possible she simply say "Now, we only have an hour and then Saeth will be roaming about the grounds again, soooooo let's go check out the tower and see if we can find Falthrax or any of these magical paintings that Sylvarie mentioned."

Isa calmly turns and walks out of the shrine "I'm heading to go check out the tower if any of you want to join me."  She heads over to the tower door, looks around and then opens it.

THE TOWER

A finely crafted stone tower rises among the trees not far from the bathhouse. A statue of a sharp-featured winged elf crouches above the front door, whose bright red surface is decorated with golden swirls. The door is locked.

Hino, pressured for time, simply bashes the locking mechanism on the door with her fists to break it open:

Attack: 19 Damage: 7

Emporious just chuckles and shakes his head at the impetuous nature of the young girl as she storms out. Looking to Barbär he simply shrugs and says, " If you can slow her down a bit I will try and possibly give us more information about what lies inside. As I said, I for one would like to know a bit more before having to wage a frontal assault on a formidable foe while short 2 party members."

He realizes his attempt to proceed with caution is futile as Hino races out right behind Isa. Emporious is half way to the tower when Hino unleashes a fury of blows against the sealed doorway. "I guess the direct approach it is." he mutters as he sends the manifestation of his spellbooks awakened mind to await the result of Hino's efforts.

Barbär gives a chuckle and a shrug and follows on hurriedly

Seems that with Mav turned to stone, stealth is out. And my heat metal would be a bit too slow for our liking. Honestly, Hino may have the right idea, indeed. Be ready. Im sure something nasty knows we are coming at this point..

As Isa reaches the tower door, only to find it locked, she notices Hino coming up behind her "Thank you Hino for understanding that we are under a time crunch, are you able to break this?"  As Hino attempts to break the lock, Isa looks up at the statue of a sharp featured winged elf crouching whose bright red surface is decorated with golden swirls "That's an interesting statue" she comments "I've never seen an elf with wings before..." she says quietly "I sure hope...." her voice trails off a bit "I hope it's not a gargoyle or anything like that." she gets a slight uneasy feeling about the statue.... it just seems a little off to her.  She continues to stare at it to ensure it doesn't move while Hino works the lock over.

The door breaks open. This foyer has a central spiral staircase leading up. The staircase is flanked by two closed doors, each one set in the middle of a stone wall. A thin, weak-looking dragonborn is feebly trying to sweep the floor here with a well-worn broom. She is malnourished and can barely hold her broom. She startles when she sees you all.

"Who are you?"

Figuring the dragon is either an innocent underling, or a hag in disguise, Hino simply points out the door and says “Candlekeep City Sewer Inspectors!  There is an emergency backup in the plumbing system leading to this tower, and your toilets are about to blow their contents!  Get outta here as fast as you can, unless you wish to be covered in disgusting filth from your septic system!”

Emporious pauses just outside and left of the doorway when he hears Hino's exclamation. Holding his position there he recalls Archimedes and moves his glowing manifestation to his side.

Isa follows Hino in and hears her feeble explanation of being sewer inspectors from Candlekeep... she simply puts her hand up to her forehead and shakes her head "You could have at least tried to be more convincing than that." she remarks under her breath.

Seeing as this is a malnourished and a very frail looking dragonborn she suspects that this is in actuality another prisoner of the hags.  Isa approches the dragonborn "First off, ignore her....We are actually here investigating a number of disappearances and we suspect that some answer to our questions are in fact in this building.  We know of at least two that have been held prisoner or have disappeared... Sylvarie who is being held prison in the shrine and Falthrax who recently came through here.  What can you tell us of these disappearances or the hags that are apparently behind this?" she questions gently.

The dragonborn gives you all a very perplexed look at Hino's..uh..explanation, and after Isa talks, the dragonborn points upstairs.

Isa looks at the dragonborn with all sincerity "Thank you!  We are most appreciative of your help."  She then turns and starts heading up the stairs.

Hino looks downtrodden. “My excuse was just as good as yours…” she mumbles to no one in particular.

She sullenly follows Isa along up the stairs.
