Hino is excited to finally show off her newly polished shell, as she goes into full battle mode and attempts to hack away at the gargoyle:

Emporious makes intricate finger movements over a page of his spell book. A stream of energy streaks forth from the manifestation turning into a liquid just moments before reaching the stone figure. He alters the finger signs slightly changing the damage caused by his witch bolt spell from lightning to acid.
With out a pause the mage continues with his rapid finger movements. Inside the loft the manifestation disappears in a line of black smoke 10ft wide that streatches accross the room enveloping the gargoyle. The manifestation appears behind it.

Another burst of energy streams issues forth from the glowing manifestation as Emporious attempts another Witch Bolt. Again he alters the spell slightly so that the energy coalesces into a liquid.

Barbär starts to mentally go over his spells, and momentarily forgets he had given Emporious a buff, untill he sees the wizards form wreathed in a gentle cloud of hot immaterial sparks, and decides to heft his newish hammer!

The gargoyle ducks. It lets out a terrible scream.

"Shut the **** up!" Isa yells at it as she casts another Fire Bolt in it's direction.

"GREAT! Now everything here knows where we are.... god damn gargoyle" she mumbles

She looks at the floating spectral mind of Emporious "Keep an eye out for company... you might get some"

She then approaches Falthrax "Falthrax, please, we need to know where the paintings are that the hags create... do you know where they keep them?" she asks him in her calmest and most persuasive voice possible.

Isasuation: 23

Emporious: Emerging from the room on the left on the ground floor is a trio of elven women, a hellhound, and another gargoyle.  One looks like an  athletic sun elf with copper hair who wears an ornate breastplate with a red fur mantle. She leads the trio up the stairs. One looks like a slender moon elf with smooth black hair and sparkling sapphire eyes. She looks very annoyed. The last woman is a wood elf who is blind. She wears a delicate white veil across her eyes and holds the leash to a massive hellhound behind her.

"Stop this at once. Who are you?" the sun elf demands.

Emporious responds with a message of his own. 

"Hags are coming." He barely gets the message out before the sun elf makes her demand.

He attempts to slip into the room they just vacated. His manifestation continually keeping him aware of what's going on upstairs.

Perception: 25

'Thanks for the LATE message Emporious' Isa thinks to herself as the elves/hags coming walking up the steps.... "Well...." she starts and then pauses briefly trying to collect her thoughts "We were told that this is the place to come if.... how should I put this? If we wanted a 'special' portrait done of ourselves" she raises her fingers and air quotes as she says 'special'  "We came up here asking about it and suddenly this gargoyle here" she gestures at the floor where the dead gargoyle is "just starting attacking us and then shrieking at the top of it's lungs.... I told him to shut up because he was going to disturb all the guests at the spa, but he wouldn't..... well, so I shut him up.... permanently.  You really don't want gargoyles like this to be destroying the lucrative business you have here.  Now, which one of you is in charge, because I have some questions about getting a portrait done of myself and want to know and understand the process that this 'special' portrait takes.  She coos to them as she air-quotes again when she says special.

The three elves see Emporious trying to slip into their room and the last one immediately closes the door. They engage you all, despite Ira's attempts to defuse the situation.
