“All ya’ll are meat shields…” Hino chuckles as she sheathes her blade and marches out of the hovel and attempts to lead the group to the old village temple. 

Flynt smiles at Isa's naivete realizing she doesn't understand the true nature of his request but pushes forward with his ruse anyway. As Hino starts to leave Flynt digs in his heals and says "Hold on there Hino. Course I'm not suggesting they be fodder. But they ain't hurt and If they are Orvok already said he'd fix'em." Turning to the yuan-ti he says, "Young lady here thinks ya weak. All I see are strong warriors that said they'd help the grippli with their temple. So now's yer chance. Give us the element of surprise and take yer vengeance on those who would suppress ya. Let's make a plan for our approach and maybe we can end this without more bloodshed. Orvok, Barbär you two are seein' the advantage I'm suggestin' can't ya? What 'bout you Mav?"

I understand i believe. Although i do recognize the fact they could potentially be put in harms way, i feel it may be best to have a group of yaun-ti guide us through yaun-ti territory. It may help even more to make them look like the aggressive fellows.

On the other side of it, if combat does arise, they may indeed take action for self-preservation, and i myself would shield them personally. I do not willingly throw a life to harms way that isnt my own. I can protect them, or heal them as well. I even have a spare chainmail that i use on occasion for ceremonies that id offer.

The good yuan-ti are weak, some wounded, and in no shape to do whatever you want them to do, especially fight. 

Isa can feel the burning within her and stands there trying her best to control herself "NO! They will stay here and out of harms way!  I will NOT allow you to use them like this, it's wrong!  Now let's keep going before I do something I regret!"

Looking closely, you can see a hint of fire in her eyes.

The good yuan-ti look back and forth between Isa and Flynt.

As the yuan-ti begin to rise to help it becomes apparent that though they refused Orvok's offer of healing they are in worse shape than Flynt originally thought. Their desire to help in the face of their current state finally convinces Flynt that they aren't a threat. Finally confident that their motivations are genuine he declines their offer and follows after the rest to the temple.

As you follow the river on the map to the temple, you come across another sight. Near the outskirts of the village is the grippli nursery. In five places, built up like the sides of a well, stand 3-foot-high mud-brick walls enclosing 20-foot-diameter circular areas. These repositories, filled with clean, fresh water, are where the grippli lay their eggs and nurture offspring as they mature. This location is under the control of four yuan-ti purebloods and two yuan-ti malisons. Through the fog, you can see all six yuan-ti are languishing on the ground between the pools.

seems like they are unaware of the fights before. This fog may have helped with that. Barbär says in hushed tones, I count 6. We can make a plan or rush in. What do you think we should do?

"Let's surround 'em and rush in, surprising them!" Hino whispers.

Isa, feeling better that they left the good Yuan-Ti back at mamma Grippli's house, follows behind... making sure that Flynt is in front of her so that she can keep an eye on his actions... her trust level of him is low and she's just wondering when he's going to turn and accuse her of Emporious's death.... but it wasn't me, I tried to save him she thinks to herself...but what if by trying to save him I actually....killed him she wonders.  She shakes her head trying her best to forget it.  When they arrive at the brooding pools she looks with interest.  "Oh, these must be the brooding pools.... the eggs must be here!  We gotta save these, protect these.  Mamma Grippli asked us too" she whispers to the others.

Mav will also eyeball the relaxing Yuan-ti to see which ones might be more dangerous (aka the ones to attack first)

"Good idea Hino. Lets cross a ways down river. We'll get there attention by firing first. When they turn to us Orvok, Barbär, and Isa can surprise them from behind. We sorta trap 'em between the pools." says Flynt.

Ah, brilliant. You truely demonstrate how you keep your town safe, and uphold the law.

Hino thinks that Barbär‘s comment about being brilliant was directed at her, so she quickly blushes (as if warforged were able to blush), before proceeding down the river with Flynt (no double entendres implied).

Isa, not fully understanding tactics n shtuff like that, simply nods and hangs close to Barbar and Orvok.

Orvok prepares himself, nodding to Hino and Flynt as they move into position, ready to surge forward as soon as the Yuan-ti are distracted to ensure they do nothing to harm any remaining eggs…

Invoking Clangeddin’s blessing, he casts Magic Weapon on his axe, and takes a deep breath…

Mav, the malisons look "more dangerous". Go ahead and everyone roll for stealth if you're sneaking up on them, and i'll average all of your rolls. Then, i'll compare that with their Insight roll to see if you get a surprise round. Or, if you wish to do something else, let me know.

Flynt gives Barbär a nod and grin of appreciation as he and Hino slip of into the fog.
