Being a construct, Hino doesn’t sleep.  Rather, she steps to one corner of the room and goes into a meditative-looking shutdown. Standing motionless for the entire time, she just blankly stares off into the void.

When the group rises, she blinks and starts up as if nothing ever happened.  But, you all notice that her dents in her carapace have all been popped out, making her body’s surface smooth and supple again.  She’s back in business!

“I’m right as rain, and fully functional.  Ready to check out the upstairs of this silly fun house?”

Absolutely, dear. Im glad to see all those dents came right out for you. Quite a trick if i do say so my self!

Barbär says with a smile, and offers a "ladies first" gesture.

Mav spends the downtime speaking to Ozomun in  infernal and feeding them bits of food.  When he sees the party is ready to move on, he'll stand up, brush himself off and extend his arm to the raven, who hops up it and returns to his shoulder.  Ozomun lets out the sound of a book slamming shut and Mav shushes them.

Hino leads the team to M10 (the first room right at the top of the stairs).

Barbär gives a knock on the door before opening it, and steps in giving a look about 21

Mav says "Housekeeping....." from behind Barbar.

Then looks around at everyone and shrugs "What? you'd be surprised how many times that gets me in to rooms."

Hino cryptically follows with “Like fluff pillow?”

"Oh you know that trick too?" 

M10 - STAIRS

The landing at the top of the stairs is occupied by a suit of armor holding a longsword, point down. It sits upon a wooden stand in front of a large window. The armor is clearly decorative, though the helmet and the sword are genuine items of good quality. Anyone with a passive perception of 13 or higher can see that  above the armor is a trapdoor that opens upward into an attic.

Hino leads the team up the stairs, and is just about to round the corner when out of the corner of her eye she barely noticed the trapdoor. Coming to a sudden halt, everyone slams into her from behind. Purring, “Once again, boys, if you want to ride on this wagon, you need to pay the driver first!”

She’ll then point out the trapdoor to everyone. 

‘Good spot, Hino...’ says Orvok, looking up at the trapdoor, somewhat askance ‘I think you might need to boost me up there..?’

Hino stretches out her arms and legs with some quite suggestive stretches. “Just need to limber up a tad!”

She’ll then cup her hands together into a makeshift sling. “Here, step on up!”  And when Orvok uses her as a step ladder, she’ll lift him up as high as she can (NOTE: Hino is only 5’4” tall).

Orvok pushes the trapdoor open with his axe, and then scrambles up, alert to possible attack...

It appears that the attic is empty, and traverses the entire length of the upper floor. It's dusty and filled with cobwebs, but that's all you can tell from your current vantage point.

Hino whispers up to Orvok "What'dya see up there?  Anything good?  Any books?"

hahaha! Hino, are you showing interest for books now? Are you becoming a Bookworm?

Looking fake-hurt, Hino responds “Noooooooooo!  I was just wondering if Fistandia kept her naughty book collection up there!  You know...I’m always up for research and improving my skills.”

‘I can’t see anything from here, seems to be empty...’ whispers Orvok, down the trapdoor, ‘I’ll just take a closer look around.’
