Orvok leans down from the trapdoor entrance 'There's light showing from another part of the attic. It might just be shoddy construction, or could be a panel, ceiling, floor, ground, slat, another trapdoor. Everyone come up here while we look, and we might get the drop on whoever, or whatever, it is...'
Watching the precarious balancing act Emporious is about to suggest they let Archimedes look about just as Orvok hoists himself higher. Settling back and waiting he pulls out his spell book and begins writing.
"Lead on good dwarf." Encourages Emporious as Orvok pulls them up.
As you all traverse the attic, you reach the FLOORBOARDS above M13 that are loose and removeable, thus the source of the light. If you remove them, you can see another room down below, M13. You can easily drop down. It looks like a library.
Orvok gestures to Emporious and Isa 'You two stay up here initially, while the rest of us drop down, in case there's a scrap to be had. You can fire down from above then...' he whispers, then starts to - quietly - move the floorboards...
This room is bare except for a bookshelf covered in chains against one wall, a plain wooden bench, and a reading desk built into the shelves. A book with the bust of a mage on its cover sits on the desk.
Unable to resist the allure of leather bound paper, Emporious impatiently lowers himself down. His curiasity drawing him directly to the large open book.
"What do we have here?" He remarks excitedly.

Archimedes follows silently taking his place on the Wizards shoulder.
The three shelves are filled with books bound in iron covers, which are attached to chains that secure them to the shelves—a chained library. The reading desk is used to support the chained books while they are being read. The book on the reading desk is the puzzle book with the letter L on its spine.
Let me take a look at the rest of those tomes... Barbär swirls a hand and a dull flash of blue emanates from the point in space, as he casts guidance on himself, walking up to the shelves.
Emporious jots down the letter in his book next to the others. Anyone looking over his shoulder see columns of words written down. Emporious gives a wave of his quill and several of the words along with a whole column disappear.
Looking up Emporious says " What else do we have?" He immediately begins going through the chained books as well.
