Applying for Icewind Dale campaign. Also, is UA allowed?
Name: Frekor Summers.
Race: Variant human.
Class: Ranger.
Background: Folk hero.
Backstory:
Frekor was born from two brave young warriors of their town, a Paladin woman and a Cleric man that lived near the tundra. He always looked up to them and wanted to be like them. Throughout the years he trained how to fight with his parents as his teachers while enjoying hikes in the tundra. When he was 17 years old, Frekor's parents left for a mission and never came back. After 6 years training, he decided to travel to find out what happened to his parents. So now he walks around the world looking for his family.
Hi there, I'd be super keen. I never played the Icewind Dale Campaign.
Character Name: Borik Frostbrew Race/Class: Dwarf (custom lineage) / Alchemist level 2 Backstory: Archaeologist Very light background. Can construct more if selected. Borik is a dwarf from Mirabar, a city a the North border of the Sword Coast. He spent his young years learning about the history of old dwarves society and joined the MAS - the Mirabar Archeologist Society. His dream is to find an old dwarven civilisation long forgotten. Borik is a joyful dwarf who loves two things more than everything: a good ale and some old ruins to discover. Hopefully in Icewind Dale, he can find both!
Why is he in Icewind Dale ?: In the old library of Mirabar, I found an old map leading me here in (insert village). My recent investigations seems to confirm that there are some interesting ruins in the North. I have reached the village since a couple of days now, and I am trying to get info by talking to the locals.
I see you picked someone for lost mines- would also be interested in Icewind- leveled down:
Longtime player and DM, new to play by post, would be interested in either but Icewind is great:
Character name: Eivre Monstroon V human arcana cleric 2
Background: sage (trained at candlekeep)
Appearance- a petite young human, attractive, with fair skin, black hair and green eyes. She doesn’t look like she belongs in the scale mail she wears- she looks like she should be in a library. She carries a staff and a shield- which burns with a continual flame and has a blue 8-point star symbol engraved into it. She also is clad in a thick blue hooded robe and carries a leather backpack.
rough backstory: (happy to customize to fit into campaign) Driven to pursue the secrets of arcane lore, Eivre is fascinated by magic in all of its forms. She seeks answers to explain what happened to her mentor, and perhaps find him again somewhere in the multiverse.
Mogo's parents were fecund and poor. Mogo is the third child of his father, Brutus,' third wife, Lucinda. An old sage in their little village needed a boy so they basically sold Mogo to him. They could not afford to feed him, anyway, and worried that he would get into trouble without real care and food. The old sage, "Wise Old Bruno," or "WOB," had a temper, but Mogo quickly figured out how to avoid him when he had been drinking.
Unbeknownst to the village, Bruno had a larcenous past as a mid-level second-story man in the guild in a larger, more prosperous city. He had learned many things, but decided to retire his old bones someplace where he was unknown. Over a few years, Bruno taught Mogo many things. Eventually the old fellow died a friendless pauper, leaving not a single relative behind, so Mogo helped himself to such useful items as he found lying about, a suit of leather armor, some worn but trusty thieving implements, a bunch of daggers, and the like.
Since then, Mogo hired on briefly as a guard and runner for the town carter. From there, he hired on guarding a merchant's wagon as he traveled to a larger town, nearby. Mogo is young, but well-trained. He is down to a few coins, only. Needs to get something more lucrative soon, or he will be down to the prospects his feckless parents feared.
Withdrawn, sorry. Got a game elsewhere with this PC.
