Like a herd of disgruntled teens awakened before noon on a Saturday, the party slices and dices the Umber Hulk, leaving a mix of tar, blood and guts across the ground. And, just like that, combat has ended.

Leaning on his glaive, Kel looks at the gooey mess. "Maybe not so good for the skin after all." He quips. He looks at the sleep rumpled group. "That was impressive work everyone, give yourselves a hand." He says with admiration.
Barkas walks up and examines the goo and guts. He calls off Luke and Max, they trot up to his side and sit down. “Nice hits everyone. We made short work of him! Should we continue tracking? Does anyone need more rest? I think I am thoroughly awake now..”

Wiping her sword, Misha lets out a loud singular laugh. "HEH!"she bakrs, then turns to the group, ecstatic. "Excellent deesplay of martial prowess. Meesha could not be heppier to hef such companions."she beams.
"We should probably try und rest again, as not to reesk becoming too tired."she suggested, remembering that continuing on might risk exhaustion.
Letting her bow fall back to her side, Daetris rubs the sleep out of her eyes still. She gives a little thumbs up toward the others. "Yay, go team." A big yawn that threatens to break her jaw in two. "And yeah, no, I agree with the woman with the sword. More rest, please. 'n maybe a little fewer monsters."
Ada still wiping the sleep from her eyes stares in awe of what just happened. "That... that was simply amazing." she finally says with a bit of excitement in her voice "I don't think I have ever seen someone slice through an Umber Hulk like you just did Misha! All I can say is WOW, well done!" Ada gets a sense of peace about her as she is feeling really safe amongst such companions.

Misha looked at Ada warmly. “Yes! A great team effort. Am very proud to fight alongside such companions. Almost as much fun as falling eento peet from floor trap, ah? Sometimes Bane giveth, sometimes Bane taketh."
The remainder of the night passes without incident, the next day's march is an unrelenting repeat of the prior day, as the group works its way along the mountain pass. At last, though, as the hours stretch into the afternoon and the mountains give way to rolling grassy fields. A more welcome sight and easier trek...however, the tracks prove a bit harder to spot.
I'll need a new Survival roll to continue tracking the Khaasta.

As the monotony of the day rolls on, Ada is just plain happy that there is no mud or tar to deal with... the rolling grassy plains are a much welcome sight in her eye. "Seems that the tracks are getting harder to follow" she says, hoping that Daetris is able to follow them still. Ada continues to trod along helping in any way she can is she is able to see any kind of track.

Tracking was not Misha's forte, that's for sure. So, instead, she took in the air and enjoyed the new landscape. Mostly everything brought a sense of wonder or familiarity to her, and she felt very comfortable around everyone.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
The terrain changing to grassland makes Daetris grimace a little. "I'm not the best at tracking outside forests, mind you, but I'll give it a shot," she tells Ada. Her bow jostles against her spine as she crouches beside the fading remnants of the tracks.
Kel found himself lost in his thoughts as he followed the group along the path. He thought back to some of his previous adventures, occasionally chuckling out loud. "I'm afraid I will be of little help, I always stay to the roads when traveling as I tend to get myself lost easily." He professes.
"I'm afraid I will be of little help, I always stay to the roads when traveling as I tend to get myself lost easily." "With companions like these, my dragonborn friend, you will never stray."
The tracks do become harder to find, but Daetris is able to relocate which direction the Khaasta traveled. The group continues through the rolling hills and grasslands, following the tracks. As the afternoon hours begin to give way to evening, ahead you see your first signs of civilization. You pass a sign that reads, "Ironridge, 1 mile." And sure enough, as you march on, before you see city walls and the path you follow becomes more of a road, leading to an open, but guarded gate.

Trekking along through the rolling hills, Ada makes light conversation with the others discussing the recent days and other adventures that anyone may have been on prior to meeting this group. As the path slowly gives way to being a road ending at the open gate and walls of Ironridge, Ada looks to Daetris "Well done, you are a good tracker... forest, mountains, plains, don't let anyone tell you otherwise!"
Evening starts to drop in as the party approaches the city "You all think the Khaasta are still here? Or at least a tavern that may have some information about a group of Khaasta traveling through?" Pausing for a moment, she continues "This looks like it would probably be a good place to get some rest for the night..." laughing a bit "I much prefer a bed to being awakened by some Umber Hulk tar-baby."

Misha twists out of the way of the mandibles.
"Eh eh! Not today!" she says, bringing her sword up high, and then down.
First, she Sentinels against the attack towards Kel - interposing herself between them, then retaliates.
