Misha raises her sword above the creature and looks over at Kel, who probably understands it in it's final moments of life before Bane exacts glorious judgement.
Kel can see Misha getting ready to lop off the creatures head. He puts his hand out to stop her. "Hold a moment, let me hear what's it's saying." Kel requests.
Listening closer, Ada and Kel pick up that the creature is speaking an odd, foreign variant of Draconic. It mutters, over an over, "Kashu, of the Toilmaster's Brigade of the Khaasta Supreme." It just repeats, over and over, name, rank, serial number cadence.
The Khaasta locks eyes with Kel, recognizing the language. "I am Kashu, scout for the Toilmaster. We hail from Naphraks." He looks about with a bit of a prideful smile. "We are here to take what is needed and wanted and wasted upon the puny, worthless of this land." He laughs at his own comment. "The Toilmaster is blessed with the Thief of Charms, stealing what you think beautiful to sell to those who seek it."

As we are talking and questioning the Khaasta, you see a transparent doe walk toward those who are injured in our party. “Any who are ailing, she can heal 5 times ((for 2d6 each time)), whoever needs it, please partake.”
Barkas casts healing spirit. Since he is still in the form of the chalice, he heals himself for 11 points.
The Khaasta smirks at Ada's attempt to intimidate it, but turns back to Kel. "That was the Toilmaster and our troop. Our mission complete. The Thief of Charms full for now. He returns to sell his goods, filling our army's coffers." He sighs, continuing. "Who knows if they'll be back or when. We are not stupid enough to hunt our game in the same fields for too long. Once the herd is alerted, it is time to move on to other prey." He looks back toward where the portal was. "Someone would need to reopen the pathway home from this side."

The transparent doe lingers, no one else has stepped forward, so Barkas steps forward into the light, bathed in the essence of the ethereal creature. Healing occurs, then the creature is gone.

With a clean, swift stroke, Misha swung her Acheronian blade diagonally down, severing the Ravager's head from his body. She stood there for a moment, then sheathed her blade. She brought her fist to her chest and lowered her head. "Bane has honored us today with thees veectory. Glory ees ours. Thank you, Lord General."

Getting in the creature's face Kel growls out questions in his harsh Draconic language. "Where do you hail from? Why are you here?"
Ada looks to Kel "I'm really not understanding much, Kashu, something or other Brigade and Khaasta Supreme. Are you able to make anything else out?"
"If you have a question, you better ask quick lest he not be able to answer due to a lack of a head...."

"Who were the others that went through the portal? When will they be back?" She asks in a stern commanding voice.
She winces a bit in pain from the claw that caught her side.... turning back to the others, "I need a bit of that healing, thank you Barkas"

Misha, still holding her blade up, looked at Ada, with her 9 Intimidation. That was adorable.
"Anybody recognize that name or place?"
"Don't recognize it..."
Looking back at Misha "I know, I know... this pretty smile only works on humans... it was worth a try" she says chuckling.
