Grum turns his attention at Vicelor for a second, with eyes full of rage. From his expression, the bugbear clearly shows that he doesn't like to be yelled at and insulted, even more by small kobolds. But Grum tries to contain his rage "No reason to enrage for just some snakes"he thought."Let's focus our attention of where is the danger"
Switching his attention toward the dangerous animals, he tries again to hit the ever moving swarm. Morningstar: 23 . damage piercing 8

"Now there's no need to insult our friend. I'm sure he hadn't expected such a hisssy fit over boat." Nimruil jests light. He ponders after putting his bow to work. However, after wincing in pain from looking too far up into sunlight, Nim dismisses the thought. "Speaking of hisssyfits. Do any of you snakes know what's your least favorite studies? No. Well, I shouldn't be surprised, as you all clearly aren't learning from even recent hiisssstory." The Drow jests, again at the snake's painful expense.

"My word! You'd think they'd scatter by now, but these lot are more stubborn then Mourbounders it seems." Nimruil comments after observing the swarm for a moment. Deciding enough was enough, the Drow cupped a hand by his mouth, and began whispering in Elvish. At every word if not every syllable spoken, primal fear or instinctive desire to move along is stoked until the little minds of the snake would start tearing itself apart.
Action: Cast Dissonant Whispers at 1st level on Snake Swarm. Wis Save[DC 13] to take half of 8 Psychic damage, and avoid having to move directly away from the Drow as a reaction(Movement will provoke opportunity attack from Grum).

Vicelor steps forward, still brandishing his wand. He narrows his orange eyes as he scans the water for more danger. Deciding everything is calm, the kobold slides his wand into its thin pouch and looks the bugbear up and down. Spotting the bite marks, which are already starting to swell, on one of his strong legs, the shaman clicks his tongue and begins patting down his side. "Here," he says, sounding more impatient than sympathetic, "drink ... " His head snaps to look down at his empty hand. "Argh!" he growls. "We left so quickly, I didn't bring any potions!" His head snaps again, this time back in the direction from which they've come. He sighs and draws out his wand. "Hold still." He speaks a short phrase in Druidic while crafting a strange symbol in the air with the tip of his wand. At the conclusion, he pokes the skin between the two puffy holes in Grum's leg.
That completed, the kobold puts his wand away again and takes a few steps toward Morgid. "So, you're not a warrior, eh?" He holds his tiny arms out in a gesture indicating himself. "Do I look like a warrior to you? I'm a shaman. A healer. Sometimes a tracker. What do you think the orc lord will say if you return with no Bol’bara and all of us dead because you stood by and watched us all die without lifting a finger?" He turns around to face the raft, mumbling under his breath. Grum, standing right there, hears something about "overgrown gobber" and then directed toward him, "No offense."
Nimruil breathes a sigh of relief, before looking to his hand. Only then he realizes the tight grip he still had on the bow with one hand. A few calming breaths sets him to rights, but he is not so quick to follow after Vicelor in approaching Grum. Not without squinting at almost every tree possible in worry of more snakes waiting to drop down at any moment.
"I hate to say it, but he does have a point." Nimruil comments, turning his attention on the conversation. "But, you were asked to be but a guide on this little operation. And we aren't very likely to even make it there if you put yourself in needless danger, now are we?'"He smiled broadly and upwardly enough as to have violet narrow naturally in the process. "So, don't let him get you down... Buuuut, on the off chance you think you can do both stay safe and provide more direct assistance, that would grossly appreciated... But now! On to business." Nimruil turns on a dime, glares at the muck about them, waded over to the boat intending to help Grum check out its contents further.
(To Grimnir_: Don't know if we'll need a check or not, but if we do, you still have the bardic inspiration on you, as it lasts 10 minutes)

Grum sees his wounds closing by magic. With the healing process, his rage disappears. “Thank you, Vicelor. Much appreciated.”. He attaches his Morningstar back on his belt and start climbing on the boat “Well, Nimruil, let’s see if there’s anything interesting in here…”. With the help of the Drow, the bugbear starts to investigate the place, looking for anything of value. While searching, Grum remembers Nimrul sentences and feels like a strange magical aura, helping him to focus on the task

As you look over the soldiers corpse, you realize he probably starved trying to wait out the snakes. You find the skeletal remains of at least two other travelers and the soldiers longsword in the swamp but nothing of significant value.
Morgid nods to Nim, "I can help show you the way and share my knowledge and my map. But Lord Bufhal only paid me to guide not to die."
"Mn. But well, its like I said. If ya manage without the dying part, any extra help would be appreciated. I'd give up a part of my own cut to sweeten the deal. But-" He sighs dramatically, pausing his assistance of Grum for a second just to put a hand to his forehead. "I'm too much of a gambler at heart. And what greater gamble than when one's own life is on the line... plus, I may or may not owe somebody a bit of coin anyhow." Nimruil chuckles a bit at that before getting back to work.
When all they have to show for the fight being but swords and bones, Nim sighs again. "Just about what I figured... but, worth a shot. Morgid? Think you can steer us some place dryer so that we can take a break?" He asked, but is quick to look back to Grum. "Not that I don't doubt your resolve to press on of course. And if you insist, well, who am I get in the way."
