Quintoc rushes forward and sink his blades into the spider's flesh. It reels back from the impact but is still standing, mouth open and fangs dripping with venom.

Can Ivellios finish off the spider before it sinks its fangs into their ranger?

Ivellio's come in behind Quin swing his Halberd in a downward motion trying to cleave the spider in two!

Ivellio's halberd swing down and while it doesn't cut the spider in half it lodges it self deep in the spiders flesh. The spider lets out a long keening death cry falling to the ground,curling into a ball. With that the tunnel falls silent and you are now all alone again.

Exp reward: 50 for each character.

(Byg'wigg you find a Doss Lute and Potion of Healing in the pile of dust that was once Dazzle.)

"What happened to Dazzle?" Lari asks. "I don't think the spider could have made him do that."

“Maybes Dazzles was never here to beginning with??” Byg’wigg says with a wiggle of his fingers as he puts the items in his bag of holding.

"Hang on." Lari holds up his hand. "His stuff seems real. What did he have?"

Byg’wigg shakes the lute and the potion, “String stick and red bubble water. Byg’wigg no play string stick, be you playing string stick?”

"No but the red bubble water will be useful I think... wait, aren't kobolds color blind?" Lari asks with a look of concern.

There’s just a long drawn out silence as they look at each other, before Byg’wigg shrugs, “Maybes? Byg’wigg no know.” And tosses the potion to him, but stuffs the lute into his phany pack.

Lari smiles. "Thanks," he says as he stuffs it in his belt pouch under Scamp. He retrieves his dropped rapier and checks to see if his arrow is salvageable.

Ivellios pulls his Halberd out of the spider "Whether Dazzle was real or not does not matter we still have a mission, let us continue on the path." Ivellios waits until the other move then follows behind.

Byg’wigg, now disappointed to be once again on the floor, agrees and marches forward, allowing Lari to take point, but being just behind him.

After retrieving his arrow (if he could), Lari continues on his way down the tunnel to the left as quietly as possible. Stealth  23. When he notices the kobold keeping so close, he says, "If you don't keep quiet and out of sight, you should stay with the others." He pauses and adds, "Keep your eyes peeled for more spiders or blue mushrooms." He follows his own advice. Perception  6. Scamp keeps his nose to the air. Smell perception 23.

Byg’wigg sneak: 17! Byg’wigg perceiving: 21!

“You should being paying attention to way you walking. You not be seeing that stalagagagatite in front of nose.”

Continuing down the hallway, you notice that the mushrooms seem to fade away and are instead replaced by webs. the webs get thicker and thicker as you go. Finally you reach an opening into a room. You can hear that skittering sound again coming from inside the room.

Byg’wigg lights his hand on fire once again, “Byg’wigg no liking skittering crawlies. Be backing off before Byg’wigg be making you back off!”

"Set fire to the webs," says Quintoc. "See what happens."

Lari sighs and shakes his head. "Shouldn't we check to see what's in there before we start burning things, and it's hard to hide when your hand is on fire. Anything around here can see the glow!"

“But crawlies be scared of fire. Me know, me live in caves, and trees, and other places...”
