Lari grumbles as he draws his rapier. With his other hand, he waves around his body and speaks ancient elven words to cast mage armor on himself.

He then gets ready to burn anything that might come running with green flame blade.

For those looking into the room:

From what you can see In the room is a large mass of tangled webs, going up the walls and ceiling, an impressive 40 feet high above you all. A hole in the ceiling allows natural light to filter in and well as some snowfall that collects at the floor. Several giant spiders make their way across the web, stopping to check cocoons that are placed all throughout the room. On the floor you can see four corpses, two near the rooms entrance, one by what appears to be an exit, and the final one is sitting propped up against a chest in the middle of the room. All of the corpses have those familiar mushrooms growing on them.

Once Lari spots the chest, he nudges Byg'wigg and motions toward his hand with the fire then the webs.

Byg’wigg hucks a flame toward an unattended area.

Byg'wigg's fire ball hits the webs and they begin burning. The spiders let out a collective shriek and flee toward the hole in the center of the ceiling. After a few minutes the fire burns out, the room now empty of spiders. There is a heavy burnt smell that now fills the room alongside with its regular musty, mildew smell.

Light up hand again, “More where that be coming from! Wait. Byg’wigg may be missing point of Sky Animal putting Byg’wigg in charges...” Byg’wigg runs over to the hole and shouts in, “Crawlies! Come back! Byg’wigg being sorry!” Leaving Lari to address the chest. However, he soon remembers an important fact, “Wait. This not being real. This confusing...”

Ivellios shakes his head thinking to himself "How did I end up here? One minute I'm with the love of my life and the second I'm stuck with these morons."  Ivellios moves inside the room standing away from the hole in the ceiling and stands guard keeping a look out.

Perception: 11

Ignoring Ivellios's unhelpful comment, Quintoc will investigate the corpses without touching 23.

Lari ignores everyone and checks the chest for traps. Scamp helps by sniffing at it. Perception 12.

If he doesn't find any traps, he would carefully open the lid and check inside. Investigation 21.

Quintoc pokes around the corpses. They are skeletal figures in simple tattered clothing,they still have skin but its stretched tight over the bones. They all have those familiar blue mushrooms growing on them. There are no visible wounds on them to suggest how they might have died. The corpse leaning on the chest is holding what appears to be a scroll in the hand that's thrown over the chest.

Lari the chest is not trapped, but as you go to open the chest, something grabs your arm. Turning you see a bony hand wrapped around your wrist and the skeleton that was propped up is now looking directly at you. It lets out a low groan turning into a harsh scream as it brings its other hand, covered in the blue fungi around to swipe at you.

Fungi Zombie1 Attack:21 Damage:4

As it swipes a you the mushrooms on its arm release a blue mist.

This seems to awaken the other corpses as they get up and begin making their way toward other members of the party.

The corpse on the far end attacks with Byg'wigg using its regular hand.

The two by the entrance rise and attack the nearby Ivellios, both taking swipes at him and a blue mist fills his vision as well.

Ivellios And Lari need to make constitution saves.

Byg’wigg casually avoids the claw, “I said for you to being careful, but what do you be doing? You be waking the dead. Now Byg’wigg need clean up you’s mess.”
