OOC: It a set of double doors, sorry should have clarified.
Quintoc and Ivellios manage to open one of the doors.
The Grinding Room
When entering, you all stand on a large grated floor that covers the entire room. The floor itself has three big holes punched through it. Eight large glass tubes line the walls, which up until now the walls have all been stone, but these walls are made of reddish-brown metal. The tubes are filled with that golden dream sand and one of them has been punctured, spilling its contents into the room into the room. The room is 60ft long, and 40ft wide. In the center of the room is a large black tube that every so often spits out rocks. The rocks tumble onto a large area of the floor that opens up like a trap door and the rocks fall into a series of whirling blades set beneath the grates that slice and grind them up. Actually, now that you look at it, the blades fill the entire floor beneath you, making this awful screeching sound when they activate. Its a good thing that grate is there, cause falling into that would be painful.
There are two exits to this room. One is a similar door like the one you just opened at the opposite end of the room. The other is an area to your right where the wall has been broken open to reveal what looks to be a small cave. Scattered around the room are pick axes and various other mining tools.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Lari and Scamp will scan the room for anything dangerous and of course anything valuable. Lari perception: 21. Scamp perception: 8.
If he doesn't see anything, he will investigate the entrance to the cave to figure out if it is natural and what created it if it isn't. Investigation: 7.

Byg’wigg scampers over to the pile of spilled dream sand and looks upon it greedily. He will scoop up two vials worth of dream sand to replenish himself. Then, to test his skill with the dream sand, will attempt to focus it into a life-sized statue of himself.

Beside the holes in the floor that one could fall through to the blades below there doesn't seem to be anything else dangerous in the room. Nothing valuable either.
Taking a closer look at the cave, its strange, at a distance the wall looked like it was destroyed, but now both the cave and the rooms walls seem to be intact, the metal just curving fading into rough stone walls . It almost as if someone meticulously grafted the two room together. The stone that makes up the cave is different from the previous ones that made up the other caves, having more of a brown color then the previous mostly grey rooms.
Peering in, your nose is hit with an earthy smell, almost like fresh soil has just been tilled. There is a faint gathering of smoke collecting above you on the ceiling and a scattering of sand on the ground, collecting in a few small piles around the place. You can hear faint sobbing and spot a small bag the floor a little ways in.
Byg'wygg:
Byg'wygg scoops up two helpings of sand. If you are going to use it make a Wisdom Check.
Lari: Scamp easily looks inside the bag,its actually a bit smaller then he is. You see its empty and there is a hole ripped in the bottom of it.
Byg'wygg:
The sand twist and turns in your hands and briefly forms what could be a very tiny statue like item in your hands before it simply just falls apart. And though most would feel discouraged by such a thing. Byg'wyg feels a wave of inspiration wash over him. (Byg'wygg gets a 1 D6 inspiration dice.)
"I don't hear anything. Probably the doors are meant to block the sound from this room. I don't like being in here - it seems especially dangerous. Not that I'm scared - just being cautious. What's he saying? He hears crying. Guess we best investigate that. How 'bout I just make sure that we can get out if we need to."
Quintoc will see if the door will open for him and see what's beyond.

Quintoc you do not hear anything from the other side, the doors seem to be built to block out the sounds of the whirling blades below you.
