Lari grabs the closest book that he thinks he can read without having to cast a spell, maybe Ivan Timbers, and inspects it more closely. If nothing makes him think he'll go mad by opening the book, he'll open it and thumb through it to get an idea of it's contents. He has an idea what it might be.

Thumbing through the thin book of Ivan Timbers. The first few pages, you see it to be notes about the person. Ivan's name,age,race, birth place, birth date, interest, lineage, etc.

The book first documents a few dream encounters about the person. There are a few handwritten notes off to the side.

"This one is unusual. I've seen him touch the veil of my world but he chose not to come all the way through, whereas so many others would have. I will be keeping my eye on him."

"I met the child. It could have gone better. All he did was scream in fear of me. Though perhaps it was not a smart idea to appear before him during the memory of his family's slaughter. I left him eventually, he would not let me speak and I did not think he was going to listen even if I could."

"Spoke with the child again. He doesn't believe me when I tell him what the veil holds. A boy who very existence is deep seeded in magic and yet he so eager seems to reject the notion of it at every turn. Claims he doesn't want to be a monster."

"I spoke with him once again. I think he is growing used to me for he did not react with the same fear he usually does when I replace his father in his fishing trip he remembers often. Instead he offered me a beverage called rum. I told him that I did not need such a thing, for I am cosmic and eternal and that thirst would not spell my end for me like it does his species. He laughed. He is tired. Very tired. I can see it in his soul. Is it me? I do come to him often. Perhaps I should let him rest for a little while. I want him to come visit my land on his own, I want show him what hides behind the veil. It may take a little while but I am more then happy to wait."

It then goes on to describe more meetings and events in this person's life. Moving from dreams to the waking world; there is mention an encounter with a hag, a ship attacked by a large black dragon, an attempt to make a pact with some other worldly being. The book ends suddenly after that. The next four pages are blank. When you get to the last page you see a small message written in the center of the page.

Ivan Timbers: Deceased at the age of 16.

"Damned Raven has taken another one from me. I let my child rest and she swoops in to steal him away, just like the others. Drags him down beneath the waves and into her arms. I will show her one of these days to keep those sticky fingers to herself."

There is no book of Byg'wygg that Byg'wygg can see. He does see Quintoc slip off one of the shelves and fall into the water with a loud splash. The creature on Byg'wygg's head stifles its laughter with its hands.

Ivellios still new to the whole process is unable to recall anything specific.

"Maybe we should continue on we have along way to go."

Lari takes down a vastly different book to compare. He ignores the antics of the others.

Ivellios seeing the other checking books instead of moving on, he will move on keeping (30ft) his eyes open for anyone or thing that might be the owner of the books.

Lari pulls a thick purple tome off the shelf, the name inscribed on the side is Willow Myraid. The inside details the author's meetings and thoughts about a young drow woman who was forsaken by her family and god; and was exiled into the mine deep within the Underdark.

 Ivellios:

Down one of the hallways you see a body floating in the water, but nothing else.

"Hmm. The author wants people to come 'through the veil.' That has to be here. Do you think Aurora wrote this or do you think it's the one that picked you, Byg'wigg?" He shows the others his findings.

Ivellios will check the body for anything that can still be of use.

 “Don’t knows. Byg’wigg wonder why a lady-king-god would need to be making pacts with peoples. It could be wise-snake-lady. Byg’wigg not versed in Pact magic. Byg’wigg is king of nature.” Byg’wigg shrugs. “Sandbaby, what you think?” 

“Byg’wigg see... mayhaps we should continue. Pyscala might bees fighting cultists like Aries was.” Byg’wigg rights his driftwood crown and will look for any tunnels that lead further.

Ivellios will take the silver ring and the rolled up paper. As he does he will understand roll it and read it.
