Melaria takes her staff and slams it into the ground. As she does so, a swirl of green energy will begin to swarm around it. She'll begin to twirl her staff around playfully as she readies to send it flying at the closest Goblin to her if the discussions don't go well.
Teo calls up to Indio, keeping his bow trained on the big goblin, "Let's get Sildar down from there. Can you untie him?" Then, to the goblin, "Where's the other one? Tell us where the other prisoner went now or our friend here starts melting faces!"
"Hey hey hey, easy there. Let's not melt anyone's face." Then to his allies, "Drop your weapons lads and lasses." And turning to Teo, "You might want to be a little careful...my boss won't be too happy if he finds you here, and he's a big f*cker is Klarg. Big 'n' mean. And he won't be too happy with me an' all if I just let our prisoner go. How can we make this work for us all? Untie the stupid human, he was going to be gutted anyway, sorry mate. Bring me mean Klarg's head and I'll tell you what you need to know about your stupid dwarf friend, see I know who you are looking for."
The two goblins at the North of the room drop their weapons and then slowly move to their friend who tumbled down the ledge who has busted their ankle, pick them up and carry them to the North of the room where they all huddle together.
Tygron says “Alright, we’ve kilt enough goblins fer one day. But Yer in no place to bargain wit us. Out with what ye knows first. Klarg’s head ain’t going no place soon.”
Indio calmly grabs the weapon dropped by the lead goblin before turning to Sildar. He unties the human's gag and speaks with him of his condition. As he speaks, he begins sawing at Sildar's bonds with the goblin's blade.
Tygron says “Alright, we’ve kilt enough goblins fer one day. But Yer in no place to bargain wit us. Out with what ye knows first. Klarg’s head ain’t going no place soon.”
The goblin considers the proposition. "Take your prisoner, you'll get no 'assle from us. Klarg will be 'assle if he see's his prisoner gone, and he doesn't want to be disappointing King Grol. Your other mate, the dwarf, he's alive, but elsewhere. He's was taken to Grol. That's all I know...lemme go would you?" He looks down at his butchered thigh and half laughs, half whimpers.
Indio calmly grabs the weapon dropped by the lead goblin before turning to Sildar. He unties the human's gag and speaks with him of his condition. As he speaks, he begins sawing at Sildar's bonds with the goblin's blade.
Sildar: "Thank you, Indio was it? I am ok. They... they jumped us on the trail...I failed Gundren." he hangs his head for a moment. "It was over so quick, they bound us and then dragged us back to this cave. Klarg wasn't interested in me, just Gundren and his map. The goblin is speaking the truth from what I gathered. I don't know who, or what, King Grol is, but he knew that Gundren and I were coming this way, and he knew that Gundren had a map to somewhere in the mountains. They mentioned something called the Black Spider...I think it is the Black Spider that asked King Grol to obtain Gundren."
You cut his restraints and he stands shakily, "I can walk, but I'm in no condition to fight. Do you have any water or food? I am weak. There's a town nearby where we can go to rest, once we are done here." he says turning to look at the goblin at the top of the steps.
Ryn: Helping Sildar to his feet, Ryn hands him a spear to use as a crutch and says, "Glad to have found you alive! I fear Gundren his gotten himself in over his head..."
Turning to the Goblins, Ryn considers their story a moment, smiles and says, "Not so fast. Perhaps we'll let you go, but first I have more questions."
Insight: 21
Having more than a little experience dealing with Goblins in North Neverwinter Wood, Ryn figures their southern cousins can't be much different. He says in Goblin,
You cannot fool me, goblin! This is not your clan-home. Too small and no females or breeding pools. Where did you really come from and why are you following Klarg?"

Slightly taken aback at hearing his own tongue being spoken he stays silent for a while. Then responds, also in Goblin;
Ok. Klarg isn't the boss, he's just in charge here, this cave. Grol is the boss, well he calls himself King Grol.
So it was business as usual for us, robbing and pillaging, until a few days back, when we suddenly hear that we are to look for a Dwarf and a Human travelling down this trail. We were to capture them and send the dwarf all their belongings back to Castle Cragmaw where King Grol is. And then we spotted your two gormless mates and here we are. The dwarf is alive, I swear it. That's all I know. But since then, Klarg has been a right arsehole, nervous or something, beating us more than usual. I could run this place better than 'im."
He marks the rough location of Cragmaw Castle on a map of yours, it's around 20 miles NorthEast of where you are now, in the NeverWinter Woods.
You get the impression that the goblin is speaking the truth.
Sildar thanks you for the spear and takes it gratefully, relieving some of his weight on it.
Ryn: Believing the frightened goblin, Ryn rolls up his map before binding each of their hands, saying simply, "Stay where you are."
Restrained - Rope (2 HP - DC 17 Str Check to Burst)
Taking the party out of earshot, he relays the information given to him by the goblin, saying, "Seems they might've taken Gundren to someplace called Castle Cragmaw. I'm afraid if we let them go, they'll just go warn their friends about us."
Indio listens as he fishes some rations and a water skin from his pack. He holds them for Sildar so he can still lean on the staff as he refreshes himself. "Perhaps we should send the goblins down the garbage chute and let those wolves judge them." He pauses thoughtfully. "Of course, that brings us to the next batch of prisoners to consider. Will we set the wolves loose?"
Teo nods and considers their situation. “Well, looks like this trip just got a little bit longer and a lot more dangerous. (sigh) We need to know where this Castle is. We need to get Sildar to safety before we continue with this pursuit. (to Sildar) How far is it to the nearest town? More importantly, do you have the coin to keep us on the path towards rescuing Gundren? And what will the townsfolk do to a group of goblin prisoners? Perhaps it’s better we put them out of their misery? Keep one alive as a guide?”
Melaria will whisper back to the others. "Than we finish them off. Get Sildar out of here and we'll finish up these Goblins. But maybe we ask where the castle is first?"
Ryn: Unrolling his map, he points and says, "He was kind enough to mark my map. We'll need to confirm the location with Klarg though. I imagine he knows a lot more than these here."
He turns to Tygron and says, "He'll probably need a bit of healing to wake up. Shall we go have a chat with him?"
Once guard duty for the prisoners is decided, Ryn will go check on Klarg.

Teo volunteers to watch over the prisoners. "Give a shout if you need me." He checks the bindings of the prisoners to ensure they won't break free, then posts himself by the entrance keeping eyes and ears out for trouble.
Tygron goes with Ryn to wake up Klarg. If anyone else is hurt badly from our group he could help heal them too. He wants to take all the goblins weapons, let the wolves free, and leave the goblins tied. (Sorry holiday weekend been busy!)
Ryn: Ryn lights another torch before making his way back through the darkness. Assuming he finds Klarg where he left him, he'll first try a nudge, followed by a splash of water, then perhaps a slap, before finally resorting to asking Tygron to heal the Bugbear.
When Klarg finally awakens, Ryn kneels and ungags him. Looking him calmly in the eyes he says, "Listen Klarg, I'm going to be straight with you, because frankly, I'm not much good at lying. We know all about the Castle Cragmaw, King Grol and the Black Spider's plot - we just want the Dwarf back."
Ryn stands and steps back, continuing, "I could torture you, but I'd rather make a bargain with you. We know much of the story, but need you to fill in the gaps. Betraying your masters would likely ensure your death, if you were to return to tell them about us. So, we wouldn't really need to kill you, if you talk."

Sildar: "The nearest town to here is Phandalin, where you were headed anyway. We could make it by night fall, assuming you will take me. Do you have the wagon, I could travel in that and not slow you."
"They robbed me of everything I had on me, but... I have have funds...I'm part of the Lord's Alliance. I can raise money in Phandalin... I can get you....say...50gp to me there."
"Phandalin is a small frontier town, an old mining town, a shadow of its former self, but it's growing again. There's not much law enforcement there and I can imagine the residents or mayor taking too kindly to us turning up with prisoners that might cause them trouble...not sure about you but I don't fancy trying to travel much with a restrained bugbear"

The splash of water brings Klarg round.
"Klargs head hurts. Klarg didn't hurt the dwarf, he sent him to King Grol. Klarg had a good thing here, rob travellers, take gold, take to Cragmaw Castle. And then...the black spider..."
He shakes his head, still groggy, and tests the rope tying his hands.
"You know the Black Spider? Who is it? All Klarg knows is that we needed to get the dwarf. And Klarg did good, he got the dwarf. He's at the Castle now."
Tygron will also look around the goblin cave (and the goblins, especially the burly one) for anything else of interest or value.
There's nothing of value in the room itself, some rotting cuts of meat, a few makeshift beds and dirty clothes. The burly goblin resists your searching but you find 5 gold teeth on him and 25gp.
