Ryn: Following close behind Melaria, Ryn stops and waits as he watches her easily make her way across the ledge. Feeling less sure of himself, he whispers, "They didn't say anything about guards, but be careful. I'll follow if you need me. Otherwise, I'll be here making a harness to get the captives across."
Ryn goes to work on his rope, tying a crud harness before attempting to find a place to anchor it. If he can find nowhere suitable, he'll tie it to the middle of a spear instead. Finally, he'll lay the spear flat on the south side of the doorway, ends held in place against either side of the doorframe by tension placed on the rope.
Indio frowns as it seems the party is splitting. He darts to the opening of the northerly passage and signals the other in the group. "Psst! Tygron has found some guards," he hisses quietly. "We should probably take care of them before they become a pain in the rear."
Teo pushes the door open revealing a dusty crypt, old rusty hinges creak loudly echoing round the largely stone corridor and crypt. There are three large stone sarcophagi in the room, two on the West side of the room and one on the East. Sat on the floor, leaning against each sarcophagi, facing into the middle of the crypt are three human skeletons clad in old parts of rusty armour. You can see two doors at the far Northern end of the room, one leading directly North, the other to the East.
Ryn looks around the room for something to tie the rope too. The only thing that stands out is the door handle on the large door which seems sturdy enough, or one of the brackets holding the candles in place along the wall, although these look less sturdy. There are also some gaps in the grout between the old floor flagstones that a spear could be wedged in between, or the spear could be placed across the door frame.
Tygron can hear nothing to suggest any of the people in the room to his West are getting ready to leave the room, but unless he stands with his ear against the door the noise of the cistern makes it hard to hear clearly.
Melaria closes her eyes and begins to sense the area around her, trying to pick up on anything magical.
((Casting Detect Magic ; Range of 30ft, but blocked by 1 foot of stone, 1 inch of common metal, a thin sheet of lead, or 3 feet of wood or dirt.))
Melaria casts Detect Magic and reaches out 30 ft around her, probing for any effects or traces of magic... of which there are none.
((To avoid confusion if you are casting it with those skeletons in mind, it won't pick anything up if they are more than just bones... it would need to be detect evil and good. If that was the sole reason for casting - happy you to take the spell slot back.))

Teo hisses a curse and backs out of the room, gently guiding the door closed. He shakes his head at the group and motions for them to return to the main room. He whispers to Melaria: “It’s a burial chamber of some sort. May be worth looking into once we see to the living. No sign of the prisoners.”
He will use whatever help is at his disposal to get back across the fragile floor, putting as much distance between himself and the caskets as possible.
The elf hisses urgently for the other elf to stop. "Stop! We're bound to find someone if we keep pushing. We need to take care of the ones we've already found!"
Tygron still waits behind the door with the redbrands behind it, readying an action to attack if they emerge, and listening for any sounds of someone coming to the door. (Passive perception 13)
Teo holds up a finger again, suggesting that there is one more door to check. He mouths the word "sorry" to Indio and proceeds past the skeletons and checks the Eastern door. He is getting nervous about stretching the party too thin, so any sign of trouble and he will make haste back to the main cistern room.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Teo, Melaria and the pseudodragon pick their way through the crypt and through the middle of the sarcophagi. Behind them the large wooden doors slowly swing to their natural resting position, closed.
The top of the each tomb has a different person carved into the lid, two males and a female, all depicted as noble.
As the pair and the small dragon near the North side of the room the silence is broken by dry creaking and the clanking of metal as the three skeletons rise, swords in hand with only one intent in mind. They begin to wordlessly advance on the elf and the tiefling.
Teo produces his rapier and attacks the one in melee with him with Booming Blade.
Rapier (BB) Attack: 9 Damage: 9 with 4 Thunder damage if it moves.
Bonus Action Disengage and Teo will move to the upper-right corner of the room, out of melee with the skeleton he just attacked.
As he backs into the corner near the Eastern door, Teo shoots a look at Melaria that communicates slight panic but also a determination to win this fight.
Note to DM: Teo will cast Shield as a reaction if he gets hit this round.
Teo's attack misses the skeleton as he also disengages from combat and backs away to the door at the North East of the room. The skeletons head slowly turns, it's eyeless sockets following Teo, the old rusty helmet previously perched on it's skull falling to the ground as it does so, clattering loudly in the crypt.
The North East skeleton turns it's head to Melaria and swings it's shortsword in a long arc, dust trailing off the sword's trailing edge. Attack: 7 Damage: 3Melaria can hear the bones in the skeletons shoulder joint grinding and resisting motion, making the attack both especially weak and easy to step to the side of. As this is happening Apple begins to harass the skeleton, generally making a nuisance of itself
Ryn is up. Tygron and Indio can probably post their actions early to help speed things up. I will need a Acrobatics check if you try and cross the ledge.
Tygron (posting early). Hearing the dreaded sound of combat in the other room, Tygron curses quietly under his breath and looks for a way to lock, jam or block the door.
Indio, too, swears under his breath. He gauges the ledge around the trap and tries to cross. (Acrobatics: 13) After deftly sprinting along the ledge, Indio bursts through the doors and charges the first foe he sees. (He reaches the one in the midpoint of the far wall.)
Tygron (posting early). Hearing the dreaded sound of combat in the other room, Tygron curses quietly under his breath and looks for a way to lock, jam or block the door.
The thick walls of the crypt, heavy doors, winding corridor and noise of the water mean little noise of combat will make it into the room that Tygron is watching over.
The door opens towards Tygron so it could be barricaded closed, there are barrels of supplies close by that would at the very least slow an exit from the room.

Teo acknowledges Indio by holding up a finger. One more door, he seems to say.
He nods at Melaria and gives the door a gentle push. He will peek into the next room.

Melaria will let Apple help Teo and herself back across the ledges to get back tot he main room.
((If Teo decides to check out the doors in the skeleton room))
Melaria, keeping Apple close, will follow behind Teo, keeping an eye on the bodies, as she knows that not all dead things... stay dead.
