Teo steps behind his compatriots and casts Mage Hand on the door's handle. He focuses and, quickly, an unseen force throws open the door. Once the door flies open, Teo unsheathes his rapier and readies to charge.
Several worn tables and chairs are scattered around this large room. Wooden benches are drawn up against walls decorated with draperies of brown and red, and several ale kegs are propped up and tapped. Four tough-looking human warriors wearing scarlet cloaks are gathered around one of the tables. A stack of coins and trinkets is heaped upon the tabletop between them. As the door slams open, one of the seated men has just scooped something up from the table. At the crash, they all look up in surprise.
Tygron steps into the room with his warhammer ready. "Yer Wizard's a prisoner, yer friends are all down. We'll give ye one chance to surrender or yer gonna get Kilt dead." He attempts to intimidate (assuming help from someone)..18
(not bad for this grandfatherly old dwarf). He readies an action to cast spiritual weapon if they attack

Given a moment to recover from their shock, the toughs jump to their feet, the table - a few boards laid across the barreltops - tumbles, coins scattering to the floor. Three of the ruffians square off, confident in their numbers. The biggest one turns slightly and shouts, "Mavek! Go!" The fourth darts to another door in the far (south) wall.
The attack bounces off Tygron's shield. A little taken aback they didn't accept his offer of their surrender, Tygron is slow to attack... (with his 2 init)
Melaria's bolt flies true, striking the lead Redbrand like a sledgehammer, square in the chest. It knocks him backward, leaving him sprawled over the wrecked table with a smoking crater in his chest, staring at the ceiling with permanently startled eyes.
The fleeing redcloak makes it to the door. As he pulls it open, Teo's arrow catches him in the nape of his neck, the arrowhead exploding through his Adam's apple. He coughs blood and slumps to the floor.
The two remaining Redbrands, young men both, stare in horror and drop their swords. One almost finds his voice. "Please..."
Indio springs forward as the swords clatter to the floor. Hardly intimidating, nevertheless he says, "Smart move, kids. That eye thing can't each much more than two corpses, anyway," he says wryly. He picks up the two shortswords and stands back. "Well," he says to Tygron, "Where will we put these two?"
The two men exchange a look, and of the two speaks up. "Is he really a prisoner? Did you really take the wizard down?"
Teo cringes at the mess he made of the Redbrand across the room and nods to the question. "We took him down -- quite easily, actually." Teo walks over to his kill and makes a show of tearing the arrow from the neck of the corpse, keeping eye contact with the remaining Redbrands the entire time.

Tygron tries persuasion with advantage

Tygron says “Look- we don’t be wantin to kill none of ye. Yer just in with a bad lot- and we’ve gots enough blood spilt here already. Drop yer weapons, tell us whot ye knows, and we will let ye live to plead yer case with the law. Or don’t and die right now- like these ones.”
The two raise their hands in a placating gesture. The taller one speaks. "Just promise you'll take him away," he says earnestly. He pauses for a moment. "It wasn't supposed to be like this. It wasn't like this. Not until he came."
The other agrees. "Yeah. It was all just fun, you know? But then Albrek comes and starts getting mean. And bringing these...I don't know...thugs in." He tilts his head to gesture at the still-smoking corpse. "And then Thel..." He swallows hard, and shakes his head.
"They killed Thel," murmurs the first one. "They killed him." After a pause he looks up. "His family's in the cells. We can take you to them. Just promise they'll be safe."
“Yeah- th wizard’s good and done. you’ll be showin us whot ye knows if ye knows whot’s best fer ye. We gots to pay a debt with these two. But hand over yer weapons and ye have me word we won’t be killin ye. Any other red brands about? “Tygron says. He searches the room, gathers all the stuff of interest or value, and then we follow them to see what else is here.
One of the two draws a knife and offers it to Indio, who had already collected the swords they dropped. The other answers with a grimace. "Well, through there you can get back up to the main hall and the magic crack -" a grin begins to appear on the young man's face, but the seriousness of the situation kills it. "But the monster room is there, too. He brought them. A goblin and the furry bugbears. Three, I think." He pauses for a moment. 'If you could, ah, get rid of them..." He falters, embarrassed to be asking anything.
The other picks up. "There are two guards in the cells," he says. "But there are skeleton things in the crypts if you don't have a red cloak on. There are probably a few in the barracks, too. If you came in through the Manor you probably ran into them." He glances at the corpse and his face goes pale. He doesn't look happy at the idea.
Teo, trying to make sense of what he's heard, asks, "Goblins and bugbears? Where?" He will also signal to the rest of the team to start tying up the prisoners.

Melaria readies her staff, waiting to see what's on the other side of the door. Apple hovers above her shoulder, ready to charge in as well.
