OOC: Thank you for pointing out Ola's hit dice, I obviously missed them. I'm assuming that the others are following behind along with Ola.
The stairs descend into a cavernous underground, with a ceiling 15 feet above. The entirety of the way forward seems lightless, quickly rendering Ola and Uragum effectively blind. The area is as quiet and still as a tomb; only your footsteps and breathing can be heard throughout the descent. Hex approaches the landing as the stairs end, peering forward into the chamber ahead.
For Hex:
This huge room is perhaps 70 feet long and half as wide. The ceiling is 30 feet above the wide stone tiles and supported by three pillars that run down the center of the room. Each pillar is expertly carved to resemble five chromatic dragons, supporting the ceiling with their forelimbs. You can make out faded mosaics on the ceilings and walls depicting dragons in flight. The sprawling scene is marred by knotty roots that have poked through the tile work.
After arriving at the landing and getting a good look into the room ahead, Hex turns back to Ola and Uragum. She tells them what she saw before asking, "Do you think you could continue on in the dark or do you want to light a torch up?"
"I am afraid without light I'll be blind. I can stand quietly and wait but fighting would be hardly possible." Never developed darkvision was one of the things Ola regretted the most back home. If others don't mind, she would ignite the torch.
(Please add 20 hp back from short rest and one 2nd level spell slot)
"Bah..." Uragum mutters. "I agree. Let's light one up... or two. Worse case, I start tossing fire but I only got one good one left before I'm tapped out."
Hex nods. "Fair enough. Maybe just stick to one torch though. I'll hold onto on as well, just in case we need a quick light of another."
She peers into the darkness of the room ahead. "Hmm... if it's alright with everyone, I'll go out futher ahead than last time so I don't get caught in the light. They'll see you but hopefully they won't see me." She ruffles Sylyra-Dog on the head and grins. "You can follow close to me, if you want. I'm sure your doggy paws are quiet enough."
If no one stops her or has any other suggestions, Hex would take out a torch of her own, though she wouldn't light it up yet, and go 50ft ahead of Ola and Uragum.
(Do either Ola or Uragum have Message? Just so it'll be easier to communicate from a futher distance.)
Sylyra looks up at Hex after her pet, giving her a silent doggy glare, though he can't actually see her.
As Sylyra's mutt form doesn't have darkvision, he's blind as well, but his ears and nose are extremely keen. He'll follow right behind Hex, listening and smelling to help her eyes.

OOC: Uragum's health and spell slots should be correct now. Removed Ola's torch from her inventory.
Ola floods the room with torchlight, illuminating at least half of it, and allowing her and Uragum to see what lies within:

There are a number of rotted chairs and tables laid throughout the room. Along with the size of the chamber and the decorative mosaics and pillars, it is easy to deduce that this room could have once been used as a great hall, for eating and perhaps even ceremonial events.
As Hex and Sylyra move further into the room, five shambling creatures shift into view from behind the pillars. The zombie forms of once-living humans approach the party menacingly.
For Hex and Sylyra:
As you move further into the room, you see six dead kobolds laid throughout the far side. At the furthest end of the room opposite from the stairs you entered by, two more zombies stand with their backs turned to you, seemingly distracted by a closed door.

Hex and Sylyra find themselves caught between zombies. As one approaches each of them from behind, Hex remains out of arm's reach while Sylyra finds it easy to dig his claws into the earthy floor, skittering out of reach himself. In the entrance to the chamber, Ola and Uragum are each struck once as the remaining zombies stand between them and their companions.

There were too many enemies again. As slow and clumsy as they were, one already managed to get through her defences. Ola summoned a newly acquired strength to protect her:
"That happened a lot faster than I expected." Hex let out a sigh and took out her shortswords before calling out to Ola and Uragum. "There are two more at the back of the room but they seem to distracted.... not to mention six dead kobolds. Hopefully they don't come to life."
