(No probs. Would it be a d4 for damage or does it keep the 1d6+3? I'll roll both anyways but just asking in case I need to throw a shortsword sometime in the future haha.)
Hex raises her arm to swing down at the zombie in front of her only to be interrupted by Sylyra's staff crushing it's skull in first. She turns to thank the elf before noticing the last standing zombie by Ola. She rushes forward to try and intercept it before it can attack anyone else but realises quickly she won't reach it in time. Without thinking, she impulsively throws her shortsword towards it.
Action: Shortsword Throw Attack: 19Damage: 2 or 9 piercing
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
OOC: It will be 1d4 damage:
An object that bears no resemblance to a weapon deals 1d4 damage (the GM assigns a damage type appropriate to the object). If a character uses a ranged weapon to make a melee Attack, or throws a melee weapon that does not have the thrown property, it also deals 1d4 damage. An improvised thrown weapon has a normal range of 20 feet and a long range of 60 feet.

Uragum obliterates the zombie facing Sylyra down. The creature is shattered by the burst of lightning, raining down around Sylyra as the druid rushes to Hex's side, caving in the skull of her opponent. Hex charges forward, launching a sword toward the last remaining zombie. As Ola fends off its attacks, the sword lands in its side, staying there as the creature struggles to remain upright.
Round 7 Order: Zombie Players <=====
Placement: Sylyra --- 30 feet ---> Hex --- 20 feet ---> Ola/Uragum Ola is engaged in melee combat with one zombie.
Health: The zombie fighting Ola is grievously wounded.
Uragum is severely wounded. Sylyra is badly wounded. Hex is wounded. Ola is lightly wounded.
The zombie stumbles, crippled by the consistent severing of muscle and tendon. Ola strikes at the opportune moment, removing its head from its shoulders. The corpse slumps over to join its companions in permanent death.
Area Description:
This huge room is perhaps 70 feet long and half as wide. The ceiling is 30 feet above the wide stone tiles and supported by three pillars that run down the center of the room. Each pillar is expertly carved to resemble five chromatic dragons supporting the ceilings with their forelimbs. You can make out faded mosaics on the ceilings and walls depicting colorful dragons in flight. The sprawling scene is marred by knotty roots that have poked through the tile work.
There are a number of rotted chairs and tables in the room, suggesting that this room once functioned as a great hall used for eating and perhaps even ceremonial events.
There are three doors that lead off from this room; one each on the left, right, and far walls. Six kobolds lay among the newly slain zombies throughout the room.
Without the pressing threat of undead, you are able to focus on more details of the surrounding environment. The doors to the left are made of wood and bound in rusted iron. Though faded with time, it is still obvious that the planks of the doors were once brightly painted in the five colors of chromatic dragons: Black, white, green, red, and blue. The door at the far end of the hall is framed by a detailed stone carving of a massive five-headed dragon. Its paint has also faded with time, but each head of the dragon is one of the same five chromatic colors.
OOC: Each character has received 87 XP for defeating the zombies.
Sylyra immediately crosses to a pillar and sits down to lean against it. He brushes at the various bits of zombie that are stubbornly clinging to his clothes. "What have I gotten myself into?" he asks aloud.
His bear spirit deflates, and everyone immediately feels even more worn out.
Hex grunts as the bear totem deflates, stumbling a bit as she walks to collect her sword. She shakes off the bits of guts and blood on it before walking past Sylyra, giving him a pat on the head as she does. She pauses for just a moment to pull a piece of stringy flesh out of his hair before continuing past him.
"Well at least this place is somewhat safer to be in. Nothing came in during the fighting so hopefully nothing more comes in... or is already inside. I'm going to check the Kobold bodies. Perhaps one of you guys can check the zombies, just in case?"
She heads towards the Kobold corpses, her sword out and ready to strike should they come to life. She kneels down slowly and searches their bodies for any useful information or valuable items.
"Nothing and nobody. Including our thief," nodded Ola. She looked around in search of some least soiled cloth to wipe the sword clean, then sheathed the weapon. The idea to go through the smelly remains was too gross to consider but there was something that needed immediate attention - Uragum was barely standing. "Uragum, wait a moment." Ola touched the goliath's shoulder and quietly prayed for his health. "Should be a bit better now."
Lay on Hands for all 10 points to Uragum.
Then she moved along the chamber looking at the doors (no opening them, though). "Another dragon-obsessed crazy," Ola sighted. What was it with dragons and people in this town? She shook her head and looked down at the stone floor - were there any signs of one path used more often than others? Footprints, scratches, signs of wearing?
"Always dragons... seems we have been dealing with alot of dragon stuff. There was that one in that grave yard, the electric blue dragon item back in town, that dragon shaped ship with the island folk and now this. Can't be coincidental." Uragum says.
Hex finds nothing of value among the remains of the kobolds, but it is apparent from their freshness that their deaths were within the day. A closer examination of each of the doors reveals no further information to Ola. She studies the stone floor as well, but does not find any clear details; a lot of activity has occurred within the large chamber, but the tracks have been made a mess between the kobolds, zombies, and the party's latest battle.
"Guess we should open the doors one by one. Anything on kobolds?" Ola found a dead-bodies-free spot to sit. "I would say through that big door should be a shrine or another teleportation circle. Fits the pattern." She did not rush to open any, though. The group definitely needed some rest first.
OOC: I'd love to take a short rest, but I used all of my hit dice during the last one. I'm not opposed to waiting, though, if someone else has some they can use. It will give me back the wild shape and spirit totem slots I used.
Sylyra closes his eyes and leans his head back against the pillar, clearly not interested in moving.
(OOC: A short rest sounds good to me, though I don't get anything back. Also would the party or even just Hex know anything about Tiamat and the Cult of Dragons? I know about it out of character cuz I just finished a Tyranny of Dragons campaign last week haha)
"Nothing on the Kobolds, unfortunately. But from the looks of it, they died somewhere within a day." If no one seems willing to search the zombies bodies, Hex would go search them herself.
"From all the information we have, there's definitely some sort of chromatic dragon conspiracy going on here. I suggest we explore the place as much as we can, uncover any information that might prove useful to stopping it. As long as there isn't another secret entrance out of this place, if it gets too difficult, we can rest for the night up on the surface and make sure the thief doesn't get away. Nothing in the job that says we have to finish this in one day."

If we are taking a short rest, will use Uragum's last hit die healing 10. Also will use arcane recovery to gain back 2, 1st level spells.
"If this is a cult or something and people are here. We'll likely have to deal with traps from those darn kobolds and magic. Don't know of any cults that doesn't have a leader wielding magic..."
"Might be a bit of exaggeration," Ola's tone contradicted that statement, "but we have to admit, until now no matter what we did there was a dragon in some form at the end. A statue, a picture, a scale," she gently touched her shield - black scale it was made of was not particularly strong but did look impressive. "Definitely worshippers. Every single time. We have not seen a live dragon - and I hope we never will! - but it does begin to feel like we are surrounded by some dragon treat, that no one can see."

Depending how many combats this may have, Uragum has no hit dice left. He'll have to be more careful and stand back now.
(Maybe we can continue on one more time and after the next combat encounter, we can go up to have a long rest.)
Psst: If it makes you feel better, Sylyra has healing potions he's going to reluctantly share.
