Durnham watches as the Sahuagin spear flies towards the owl and drops harmlessly under it. “Hit em hard everyone! These things like to overrun their prey but won’t stick around once the tables are turned!”
He grips his staff and levels the top parallel to the ground pointing towards the creature Qidira just struck with a bolt. The top begins growing a soft red as a small ball of fire coalesces near the top. “Flambé!” He shouts as he unleashes his will and directs the fire bolt towards the wounded Sahuagin.
"Yes! Nice shot!" She calls out to the Crow's Nest Sailor remembering his name from crew interactions and continues her noisy cheering of any sailors that she recognizes trying to boost their energy and make a target of herself on the netting wasting spears. Counting on her stealth to help her evade if needed and pull attention away from Archimedes. Its a dangerous game but she remembers playing games like these with trouble makers on the street dancing among the building tops, in and out of windows drawing attention away from the less able kids. She's suddenly that child again, staying low on the mast (still the 20') but taunting and teasing the creatures as she attacks like a kid in Neverland. Using all of her movement each turn as she can without lessening her ability to attack. "The sight of our blood does something to them, angers them! Watch out for your wounding companions!" She adds seeing the change in reaction and seeing how injured Kotar and Ressys are.
(will post attack closer to my turn - hopefully above is allowed)
His blade hit its target, steel biting through the flesh of the piscine creature, drinking its blood. A fleeting moment of success that created an opening in his guard. One that once again the fish-man took advantage of, throwing a piercing attack. Knowing he would not be able to avoid it, Kotar took it fearless, his thoughts drifting to a single question - should he enhance his regeneration now?
It was but the start of the battle and he had already spent his Stone’s Endurance. At the same time if were to just accept the damage there was the chance that he would be too wounded in a moment were he needed to draw enemy fire from a friend. In the end, he decided to take a deep breath, drawing from his well of stamina to speed his body’s regeneration.
“You fight too well with this thing, trash-fish.” He spoke trying to reach the weapon of his opponent with the intent of pull it from the piscine creature’s hand. To pull it with all his strength. If he succeeded, the goliath expected to reduce significantly the offensive power of this opponent. I need to deal it him fast, the goliath thought remembering Durnham’s account - twelve enemies were attempting to board.
Kotar uses Second Wind, drop his sword on his feet and tries to pull the weapon out from the Sahuagin's hand, which I'm anticipating being a contested Athletics Check. Rolls below.
Durnham launches his fire bolt at the sahuagin but the angle is too acute and the arcane attack flies wide.
(Ressys next, I have Kotar’s turn. Qidira’s movement will not affect her own attack if she makes one, but will only affect incoming fire if she takes the Dodge action)

Archimedes, having just had a spear thrown at him, will launch up into the air straight up till it’s 60 ft above the ship and look at the surrounding water for any signs of more creatures. 11

Ressys growls as the creature evades his bite. The sting of two spear heads striking his flank does not deter his attention way from the one before him and he lunges again at the sahuagin trying to finish it off.
Attack: 25 Damage: 17 piercing vs sahuagin #9
If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 13 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.
Qidira's actions will be more for a distraction to the Sahuagin than Dodging and will make her attacks as normal otherwise. I will post attack closer to her move hoping to take advantage of some of her Roguish benefits.
Dodging both spears thrusting toward him, Brandon watches as Ressys tears into one of the creatures in front of him. Trying to finish it off, Brandon jumps to attack as well and brings his longsword down across the creature's chest.
Attack: 15 Damage: 10 plus 5 psychic damage. WIS save 13 or be frightened.
(Targeting #9 to finish it off, if #9 is already down will direct the attack toward #8)
Ressys lunges at the sahuagin in front of Brandon and rips its throat out, leaving the body to fall to the deck in front of the warlock.
(Critical hit inflicted 21 damage)
Kotarbreathes deep and fights off the pain from his wounds, determined to stay in the fight. He reaches out quickly to snatch the sahuagin’s spear from its hands:
Sahuagin athletics check 12
The sahuagin is powerless to stop the massive fighter from disarming it, and shrieks in a mixture of rage and embarrassment. It bares sharp claws, ready to attack unarmed.
Archimedesshoots straight up in the air and looks down at the sea around the Remorhaz, checking for signs of any more attackers – there appears to be none.
Brandon, seeing the sahuagin in front of him fall, strikes out at the one in front of Ressys’ wolf form instead. His blade carves a painful gouge down the attacker’s neck and chest. The blow sears into the sahuagin’s soul as much as its body, as dark power erupts from the blade to assault its mind:
WIS save for Sahuagin 12
The dark assault is too much and and the creature's face becomes a mask of utter horror. Unable to approach Brandon, it now has disadvantage on ability checks and attack rolls as long as Brandon is in sight.
(QIdira’s turn. No new map yet, as the only change is that the sahguagin in front of Brandon is now dead))
Qidira fires her crossbow from above, the bolt embedding itself in the top of the skull of the sahuagin in front of Kotar and killing the fishfolk outright.
The two sahuagin at the prow of the ship, now without their spears, charge aft with their vicious claws glinting; one into contact with Kotarand the other descending the stairs to attack Durnham

Attack 1 on S1 Attack: 20 Damage: 6
Attack 2 on S1 Attack: 10 Damage: 3
(Critical attack on Brandon did 11 damage)
The attacks on Durnham and Kotar are almost comical, swinging far wide or ineffectually pawing at the adventurers.
Brandon is not so lucky, one if his attackers landing a strong strike as the spear finds a weakness in his armour and pierces the warlock’s stomach.
Ressys’ wolf form earns a couple more wounds from the onslaught but he seems to be holding up and ready to fight back.
Of the sailors, only one manages to land a sword blow. The other melee attack misses, while a crossbow bolt thunks harmlessly into the deck behind its target.
Durnham grits his teeth but sees no better choice than to use his final spell. He twirls his staff again before slamming the bottom into the deck shouting “Arcane Rocket!” The top again glows red and three red arrows come flying out towards the fish folk right in front of him.
Durnham's volley hits the attacking sahuagin at point-blank range, all three darts flying through its face and leaving large exit wounds out the back of its skull. As the sahuagin falls ina bloody heap, the remaining raiders seem to sense the tide of battle turning against them. Outnumbered and losing bodies, they seem to have bitten off more then they expected.
(Ressys next, everyone is free to post if they wish and I will process in initiative order)
(Critical from Ressys did 23 damage – he's banging them out!)
Ressys takes another sahuagin in his jaws and bites down, the creature going limp as vital organs and major vessels are pierced by his sharp jaws. With a thrash the dead body flails around like a rag doll before the dire wolf drops it to the deck with a heavy splat.
The sahuagin look severely shaken now, their stances change to much more defensive postures and eyes twitch towards the sides of the ship.

I am Kotar Ironhunter of the clan Anakalathai, he said with the voice of his mind as he took the spear out of the hands of the piscine creature. How many times had he done something like that before? Taken the fangs and claws of steel wielded by his foes. Not enough, he answered to himself, remembering Lo-Kang. Not nearly enough.
The goliath tossed the enemy’s weapon to the side, giving it back to the seas. Rising his shield he lowered himself to get his blade, but before he could make his attack a dart killed the fishmen. Qidira, he thought between the happiness of seeing his ally succeed and the deception of losing the kill.
“Qidira, help Durnham!”He shouted to the rogue, noticing as a sahaugin moved closer to the wizard. Didn’t take long for the fighter to notice a third creature coming to his direction. It tried to reach him with a claw attack, but with a single movement Kotar easily blocked and deflected the attack with his shield, creating an opening. He then raised his arm and brought down his blade, hoping to hit the monster. Hoping to bring good damage upon it. Worst case scenario he would still be holding it down, away from the others.
