Yignath DEX 1

Seeing Jhasso and his spirit move Bryce will move a step close to the armored man and take a swing at him. Swinging it upwards, the mace hits hard(21 and 9 dmg)!

With Bryce's hit, the commanding cultist is finally starting to fade. He is very hurt and struggling to stay on his feet. Kazzira, his companion, is also very wounded. 

Nevertheless, Yignath tries to stab Bryce, to stop his strong attacks. 

to hit: 16 for damage 6 But the armour protects Bryce.

Nyx (17/17) > Kazzira (fairy fire, 20 damage) > Halril (17/17) > Bryce (17/17) > Alysa (24/22HP) > Jhasso (9/15HP)  > Yignath (47dmg) > 

Nyx considers moving in to swing with their sword, but feel that it would be better to avoid being hit and instead maintain the fairy fire spell. They move next to Alysa, to help them for the next attack.

With Nyx flying around, Alysa sees an opening in the cultist's defense. She thrusts her longsword and manages to cut some flesh.

Action (longsword): Attack 23 , damage slashing 11
Movement: if the cultist finally goes down, Alysa will run toward the next target.

Kazzirah sees the fighter get ready to attack her commander and tries to shoot her arrow before Alysa's attack can connect: 

to hit: 4 for damage: 7 

Again, her attack fails and she curses the bow, throwing it to the floor. 

Then Alysa's attack connects with Yignath, who falls to the floor, his body lifeless. 

Jhasso springs forward and combines a blow with the staff with a small fire ball thrown by the Wildfire Spirit.

Bryce will move up to the masked female "Face justice And repent!” Bryce will swing his Mace non lethally hitting her hard in the stomach! (23 to hit and 7 dmg)

Now that the battle is over, Jhasso realises that his wound is quite serious and casts a spell of Cure Wounds to heal it.

The man who always talks in the third person goes next to the prisoner chained on the west wall: "This man hopes that this prisoner is doing well given the circumstances. Tell us, who are you?"

With the last combatant falling on the floor, Alysa takes her breath. She quickly look around for any sign of other danger (Perception = 13) and then starts looting the two cultists and investigate the altar (Investigation if needed: 22).

Alysa will also have a quick look at the armor - what type of armor (Chain, splint, plate?) and is it in good shape ?

Jhasso's fire teleport ends the life of Kazzirah and she falls to the floor, Bryce ready to take her down too, but swings too late.

The prisoner is barely alive and speaks in a whisper. "My name is Klim, *cough*, Klim Jhasso, I am in the trading *cough* business. Maybe you have heard of us. *cough* 'Jhasso's freight'? Can you help me?"

 Meanwhile, Alysa doesn't spot any other obvious danger. When she takes a closer look at the cultists, she perceives that the skull on Kazzira’s shield has been painted in fresh blood. When she looks at the body of Yignath, she finds an iron key ring with seven keys hanging on his belt — one may possibly fit the shackles above the altar, holding the prisoner. 

Then Alysa turns her attention towards the freestanding suit of plate armour. It is more of a decorative item and has been welded together. At the last second, Alysa spots something interesting. The gauntlets seem to be detachable... and could potentially be a threat to the group if activated.

Alysa takes the key ring and calls out her comrades: "I am no wizard, but I have a bad feeling about this armor. The gauntlets seem off to me. Let's not touch it"
She will then get closer to Jhasso and listen to the conversation.

Nyx flies to the cultist prisoner and inspects their wounds. Are they dying, or merely hurt?

Bryce hearing this will inspect the gauntlet, looking it over nothing can come to his mind. [Religion 5, Arcana 8] “I’m unfamiliar with it but I do know that a black gauntlet is usually the symbol of the tyrant god.. but I agree we should not touch it..” 

Bryce will head towards the steps as the others take care of the prisoner if, they need help healing or carrying him Bryce will come back.

Jhasso suddenly takes a step back like he has been hit in the face. Jhasso is also the prisoner's family name!

"Well, it is advisable to not be overcome by fear now, since this group has dispatched Klim Jhasso's captors. However, this man must ask: have you seen this man before?"

 The prisoner hanging above the altar in shackles is very very hurt, but not dying right now. 

He answers to Jhasso: "Please, take this stinking old sack off my head and I can answer your question. Don't let me hang here. Please! *cough* Please!" 

Bryce meanwhile walks down the stairs and follows the corridor around a corner to find it blocked by another door. 

Alysa shows the keys to Jhasso: "maybe one of those opens their shackles"

Jhasso takes the sack off the prisoner's head and tries the key Alysa has just given him to free Klimt.

Before heading back Bryce check the door to see if it’s lock or unlocked. 

Investigation: 18

After checking the door he reports back to Alysa. 

Bryce finds the door to be of soft rotting wood and it can swing open easily. 

Jhasso tries the key on the first shackle and it seems to fit, it opens with an audible click - at that time, however, there is sudden movement in the chamber.
The two gauntlets identified by Alysa lift off the welded armour and fly towards Jhasso and the prisoner.
