Jhasso walks into the room. The entrails on the altar add a different layer of stink to the place. It is hard being in this room. But there is no movement. Right now, there is no one here.
The alcove has an old tapestry hanging on the back wall.
Jhasso crosses the room and turns the corner into the next hallway. Floating face-down in the middle of this flooded room is the bloated corpse of a shirtless male human with knife wounds in his back. The passageways seem to end here.
Alysa approaches as silently as possible (stealth 16), looking around for any dangers (perception 10). If nothing seems suspicious, she will poke the floating corpse with her longsword.
The floating corpse stays dead. Nothing moves, nothing happens. Nyx finds a secret door that connects north to the room where you have been just a few minutes ago.
Jhasso approaches the alcove where an old dusty tapestry is hung up in the corner, when Hal pushes in front of him. "I am sure I have read something about this one," Hal says. "It's hard to see, but it is a bloodthirsty scene of Bhaal, having decapitated three victims. They're lying at his feet in a pool of blood! Look there!" Hal steps forward to show Jhasso some details, when the Druid grabs his arm. He spotted something. Around the fringes of the tapestry, there's some yellow residue. And to Jhasso it's clear. This cannot be anything else but a grown yellow mold. Deadly yellow mold.
Nyx recoils in horror. The toxic molds exist in the twilight realm, and they spread quickly and dangerously, infesting entire areas. Nyx stays back, ready to act.
"Stop! This man has spotted yellow mould meshed in the fabric of this tapestry. Allow this man to try one thing, best if an half-elf steps back."
Jhasso goes taking the torch back, and very cautiously allows the flame to put the tapestry on fire, starting from the bottom.
For a second it seems as if the tapestry is fire-proof, then, with a poof, the entirety of the old painting lights up in flames and within seconds crumbles to dust on the floor. The yellow mold that was clinging to the back of it shrivels up with a squeaking noise.
If the body doesn’t move, Alysa will carefully look at it, searching for clues on who this person was.
(investigation: 18)
The corpse was once a Bhaal worshiper, with a name tag under his cultist robe reading "Hiskaal", and Alysa concludes that the man has been dead for two days, possibly being killed by his colleagues for messing something up.
Jhasso makes sure the threat to the group's health and life is destroyed. Then he turns his attention towards another door. Alysa checks the door for traps, but doesn't find any.
Jhasso opens the door and sees a long corridor ahead.
Alysa nods at Nyx, probably to most silent member of the group. "Could you go check what's ahead, Nyx?" she whispers. Alysa also try to listen if she can hear something now that the door is open. (Perception 9)
Nyx flies down the corridor and tries to be as silent as possible. But when they turn the corner, their wings touch the walls and it gives off a similar noise as an insect inside a lamp shade.
The room opens up before them entering in the eastern part, which is unlit, flooded, and braced with floor-to-ceiling wooden beams. Rough-hewn steps rise out of the murky water to the western portion of the room, which is dry and lit by two torches in sconces that flank a stone altar. Shackled to the wall behind the altar is a sickly man in a loincloth with a burlap sack over his head. An alcove in the north wall contains a freestanding suit of plate armor missing its helm.
Standing before the altar are two grim figures: a powerfully built woman clutching a mace, and an even bigger man wearing a bucket helm. The helmed man is jabbing the prisoner with a spear, causing him to twitch. Both figures are clad in chain mail, and the woman carries a wooden shield with a leering skull painted on it.
They both turn towards Nyx when they hear the noise.

Jhasso focuses his attention on the flickering flames of the torch.
"Long ago... in a dungeon just like this one..."
After leaving the torch on the dry stairs, he walking stealthily into the room, stopping only if seeing someone... or something.

While the group is about to the main intersection and Alysa is checking the corpse, Jhasso will look into the alcove next to the stairs.

Jhasso goes back to the Dead Three doors chamber and tries to open the one with the symbol of Bane on it.
