Pathway L on the left goes down a dark corridor that curves sharply to the right. At the end, on the wall, is a stone mask of a lion. An inscription above it reads: "I ate one of the boar's friends."
COURTYARD
As you stand guard outside the tunnels, Yasei, as the other adventurers enter the tunnels, in your mind you are startled to hear the shrieking of monkeys in your head. After a few seconds, it stops. You startle so bad you the chwinga almost fell of your shoulder.
SHRINE
A ten-foot tall stone statue of an evil-looking monkey balanced on its tail atop a stone dais in the middle of this twenty-foot-high chamber. The statue's limbs are splayed, with hands and feet cupped. On the wall behind, a sculpted relief shows a monkey-like creature tearing into a giant serpent. Cuneiform inscriptions are carved above and below the relief. Four masks of painted stone protrude from the walls, they depict the heads of a lion, a zebra, a board, and a vulture.
There is an enormous relief on the wall here. It is showing the trickster god Wongo fighting his hated enemy, Moa. There is an explanation of how Moa betrayed Wongo to the god Ubtao.
Around the base of the statue is the inscription: WONGO'S FRIEND KNOWS WHERE TO POUR THE WATER
PATHWAY B
The tunnels ends and there is a stone mask attached to the end of the wall. It's a mask of a boar. "The vulture is lucky to be alive" an inscription reads.
Same for Shariel, if she can, she will bring the mask to the central shrine area.

"So, the lion ate one of the boar's friends, and the vulture is lucky to be alive, so the vulture is not the one that got eaten by the lion. But she might still be one of the boar's friends, 'cause he might be the best party animal, and have all the friends."
"Hey, Mister Slither! What do the zebra and vulture masks say?"
Shariel will look through the eye-holes of the lion mask in her tunnel.

Shariel: You see a blue shaft of light coming from the ceiling in the shrine falling onto the right hand of the monkey statue. You also fee a bit strange.
Slither: The zebra mask says "My only friend starved to death", and the vulture mask says "One of the other has no friends"
“So, looks like the boar doesn’t have a friend, cause he got eaten. Zebra doesn’t have one either, cause his starved to death. That narrows it down, right?”

OOC: So if the lion ate the zebra, and the boar starved, but the lion has no friends. That would mean that the only one left is the vulture, right? Would he be Wongo’s friend? Since he survived and has nothing bad said against him.

"So... um, the boar has at least one friend, but if he's only got one, then he doesn't have any left, 'cause the lion ate his one friend. The vulture is alive, but is super aggro because she's pointing out that some other animal doesn't have any friends. And zebra-poo is all sad cause one of his friends starved to death. But we need to find out who is Wongo's friend, right? So, are we talking friends before they all ate each other and starved, or after? Like, is Wongo friends with all of these guys, but there's only one left after their murder party, so that's his 'friend' because he's a jerk and nobody likes him unless he's the only guy left?"
"Gods, this is hard. Okay," she starts drawing in the dirt. "So, vulture didn't get eaten. Zebra is boar's friend, but got eaten by lion. So, like, ghost Zebra is all sad, because boar, his friend, starved to death. That leaves full, happy lion, and aggro vulture, who is all snotty and points out that somebody has no friends. Since boar had a friend who got eaten, and zebra had a friend who starved, and vulture is talking, it must be lion who has no friends!" She jumps up. "So vulture is the only one left alive with a friend, and that's gotta be Wongo!"
She looks around. "Or, you know, what you guys said. Bacon. The vulture."
"Then, we need to go look through the vulture's mask to see where we pour the water. Someone go look through the vulture mask!"

Anything special about the mask? Is it attached to the wall, or can Clayton remove it?

I like the way you think.
Actually the zebra got eaten by the lion, the boar starved and the lion has no friends.
I think the boar tried to eat the vulture
