Slither's habit of eating the thighs of agile creatures has paid off, he has the mobile feat now, 40' movement, no AOO from an opponent he has attacked with a melee weapon.

As you approach area 13, you see a ruined amphitheater that looms over the surrounding buildings. Vines cling to its steps, and animal statues line its stands. The muddy ground outside is stripped clean of vegetation. An eerie silence hangs over the area. No birds cry, no insects chirp, nothing at all stirs in this area.
You notice in the mud, and all around inside and outside the amphitheater, there are 5 foot wide by 5 foot wide giant clawed prints everywhere. There are also different colored feathers everywhere, and piles of dung tall enough to bury a dwarf.
The amphitheater is an open-air semicircular structure with tiered seats overlooking a ruined stage. The chwinga on Yasei's shoulder begins shivering frantically, pulling at your hair as if to steer you away from this place.
The footprints are enormous. They are three toed, with indentations in the mud that indicate large claws on its feet. They look reptilian in nature, and whatever this creature is, it walks on two legs.
Way off in the distance, you can faintly hear on the other side of the Forbidden City a steady thundering of something truly immense. DMMMM. DMMMM. DMMMM you hear. As you look off in the direction you all came from, way back to around area #1, you see something horrific, and titantic at the same time.
You can see the head of a feathered tyrannosaurus rex's head above the tallest ruin coming out of the jungle into the city, slowly lumbering towards the direction of the amphitheater. Even at the distance it's at, it looks truly enormous.
If you stick around, be prepared to meet The Feathered King - the undisputed, undeniable, and uncontested king of Omu, The Forbidden City.
I suggest we hightail it out of area 13, and head east towards area 14 and/or 15. The Feathered King is obviously looking for a tasty snack, or a mate, neither of which I suggest we volunteer for.
The Feathered King is so large, it will take only a short amount of time for it to lumber down the road towards it's home, which you have surmised is the amphitheater. Even from this distance, he is easy to see that his mouth is open and zombies writhe in it's mouth. Sometimes one or two fall out only get crushed under it's feet. The ground shudders as he approaches. Had you encountered him in any other place, you know that the battle would be short lived, and Musharib mumbles prayers to the dwarven gods as you scurry away towards AREA #14, thankful that The Feathered King was in the jungle and not in Omu today. You pray that your paths do not cross any time soon.
As you guys prepare to leave, the cwinga pulls at your hair Yasei - it's pointing to one of the feathers of the Feathered King on the ground - as if motioning to pick one up.

Clayton examines the footprints.

... like maybe something that Clayton saw at the race?

Perhaps. But if that were the case, this thing makes the froghemoth look like a itty bitty teeny weeny wittle thing.
Clayton’s eyes go big, and he will do the same as Mr. Stick. He whispers, “Big Dino. Big, big Dino. Let’s move quick!”

OOC > So, when we level up, what resets? HP? Spell slots? Like a long rest? Or nothing but new abilities added and new hp added to current total?
ey/em/eirs, or they/them works, too (just not he).
Role-playing since that keep on those borderlands. I love it so.
