The blue tiefling's eyes well over, and the tears spill down as she reaches for Mal's hand. "Oh gods, I don't remember anything, but I do! It's just been so long, I've been fighting so long... I was a god..." she hugs him tight. "Were these my friends? Was she..." over Mal's shoulder she is watching Shariel tend to Yasei's body. "Perhaps I was always mortal. It did not seem that way, on the plains of Hell."
She pulls back to look Mal in the face again. "I know this is... weird," she quirks a smile that reminds you of Bree. "I don't know your name. Of course, that's the least thing, isn't it? Where I come from... or, where I most recently came from, names have both absolute power and mean almost nothing. I have not been called a name for... well near enough forever. I like 'Bree' and it came to me. It is my name? The name you all have for me?"
And later...
"It seems there is vengeance on your minds," she says quietly after we're all done mourning Yasei. "I would join you, I know lot about vengeance."

Knife in hand but unsure what to do, slither sees Clayton approach "Why did she do that? We have enough food yes? She is giving us her strength and courage yes? Are we to eat her heart? I do not want to feed off of my friends.... Moa's compassion is confusing no? "
“Yeah. Compassion’ll do that. We got enough food, buddy, don’t worry. It was her time. I don’t like it, but we got two people to save now.” Clayton says forlorn as he places a hand on the lizard.
Thousands of bats swirl above a great ruin at area #20. Behind a 15 foot high circular wall, you see crumbling arcades, vine-choked statues, empty plazas, and buildings overgrown with banyan roots. Streets that aren't flooded are choked with rubble. The palace looks abandoned and has been looted of all treasure. Snakes slither through the rubble everywhere but they're harmless. There is a large entrance deeper underground that is guarded by three yuan-ti humanoids. They patrol the area and haven't noticed you yet. On the ground leading to and from the main entrance are cart tracks. You can see that below deeper underground a heavy double stone door is closed.
"I do," she looks startled to be addressed. "It takes a great deal of my power to make two, but one is very possible."
OOC > Greater Invisibility, so only good for 1 minute, but you can attack and not become visible. It's her only 4th level spell, and her only 4th level spell slot. For 4 of 7 Sorcery points, she could twin it to affect two people, but if Slither is already invisible...

“How about this, I cast fly on either the two of you or just Slither. You both scout it out with your special eyes, and then we take a quick rest to recharge. Sound good?”

Mal hugs the tiefling back and feels the sobs begin to wrack her body. He heaves in a heavy sigh in an attempt to calm himself, because she doesn't remember. He remembers though, and he's hand automatically begin to rub circles in her back.
"Shh. Its alright. Its okay BumbleBree, don't cry, it'll make all the flowers sad to see a pretty face like your weep." This was an old way to get her to calm down when everything got to be too much as kids back at the circus. He waits til she stops crying and pulls back out of the hug. Now that you see him Maldrek is, quite frankly, a mess. His hair is ripped out of it's normal braid, golden beads are gone and eyes are bloodshot. His clothes are bloodstained and torn, his body is covered in dirt.
"My name is Maldrek Wintermelon and, if you are telling the truth and I think you are, you are Breewyse Wintermelon, we're siblings who get into all sorts of crazy things. We run from monks and circuses' alike. Right now we are on a quest from an old friend of ours and we need to see it through. I'll tell you more about us later, when we have a chance to rest. Just stay in the middle of the group behind me okay." He hesitates for a second but puts his hand on her and ruffles her hair, giving her a small smile.
OOC: I'm Alive. :D And all the power is back on. Sorry this is so long.
OOC > for game purposes, Bree will cast Greater Invisibility on Maldrek. One minute of non-canceling invisibility. Go! Role-playing here in a bit. Glad you didn’t blow away, Shy.

Bree never was one to play it safe, no matter what Mal would have preferred, and this version is even less so. As you walk, before it gets dangerous, she makes a point of approaching each member of the party and introducing herself, and getting their names. "I remember some things, a great beast I loved who is now dead, this land," she sweeps her gaze across Omu and, more widely, Chult, "and other things I do not see, the sounds of bells and wagons, small creatures of the Fell I have not known for the ages... and fire. Lots of fire."
To Clayton, "Your story is one of kindness and love, Clayton, I would see you back to your life. It seems simpler, and something I would preserve. It is the thing I have been... I used to... fight for," she finishes haltingly.
To Shariel, "You seem the least removed of all of our companions from the devas and angels who fought under me these past eons. I imagine I did not understand you well before, and cannot appreciate you now as anything but a weapon. You will forgive me if it takes me time to truly meet you... Miss Shariel."
To Slither, I imagine they spend long moments just looking at each other, heads cocked, observing. Finally, Bree presents a forearm to clash in salute, as warriors would slam vambraces together before battle.
About Mal, to anyone who listens longer than usual. "He is very protective of Bree... of, me. He has let himself suffer. I have spent countless years fighting because of love, and yet it has been so... abstract? This is very concrete, he is someone I can love just because. But it... frightens me. I think I cannot bear to lose him, though I do not know him."
With Mal, she is careful of her loving. She does not hang on him with the loose, carefree abandon that she did before, but she is always aware of where he is. Ironically, it seems she is much more like Mal himself, than Bree of old. But occasionally a bit of old Bree slips out, like when he tousled her hair, she instinctively reached to tickle him in revenge, then danced away. And when she sees Clayton boop Slither on the nose, she takes the opportunity to boop Mal on the nose right before she makes him invisible. She has a sort of mischievous smile on her face when she does it, much like Bree would have before. "Come back to me, Maldrek Wintermelon. You may be all I have left."

Shariel is grateful to see the new Bree reaching out to those nearby. At her introduction, Shariel gives a smile, "You did not know me because I did not make myself widely known. I am simply Shariel, Follower of the Eight. From what you tell me, you have come in contact with beings of Light to fight against Fire and Shadow. This is very profound as few can claim to meet such powerful incarnations of The Eight. Your reunion with Maldrek gives me hope that I can even find those I seek in this life. If not, I will search beyond this world until I find them."

"You came back to me, so you can be damn sure I'll come back to you. Nothin on this world can keep us apart. See you in a little bit, squirt." His disembodied voice says. Bree feels her hair being ruffled again before Mal slinks(well flies) off with Slither.
The 3 yuan-ti patrolling the entrance do not see you all. Should you attack them, as long as you're invisible you get advantage on the attacks. Because you are invisible, they will have disadvantage on their attacks.

Clayton looks over it all and turns to the team, “I have an idea. Bree, do you have a way to make at least two of us invisible?”

Slither touches Clayton on the shoulder so he will know where he is "Slither will scout, yes?"
Clayton will boop his snoot and cast fly on him and one other person. Who wants it.
