As bree and Clayton try to shout over the wind, slither's goat jumps back and forth between them and anyone else that seems injured, as long as they stay in range they'll get 9d6 healing within the next minute
Not sure why it got flipped on it's side, but if you rotate this image counterclockwise, so the number in the pool readds "9", you guys are coming from the south end of this map. Sorry if that's confusing.
There are a number of points of interest in this underground cathedral, which i'll detail shortly. As of this moment, this room is completely empty, if not harrowing looking.
An underground cathedral opens before you. At one end, a sculptured balcony perches atop five rearing stone serpents. Blood dribbling from the serpents jaws falls into a semicircular basin, and from there flows along a sloped though into a wide stone bowl set into the floor. South of the bowl is a mezzanine prominently situated atop which is a cauldron of steaming broth that exudes fleshy odors. To the west, a huge gong carved with snake patterns stands on a second balcony.
BLOOD POOL: The central pool contains 17 inches of blood, currently. It appears to be used for sacrifices and is very fresh.
THE GONG: There is a large mallet by the gong, and the gong appears to be well used.
THE CAULDRON: The cauldron is a stew of what looks to be fresh boiled flesh, which is heated by a volcanic vent from the ground.
NORTH BALCONY: The north balcony has a rune on the floor that appears to be very magical in nature. Other than that, you can't tell if it does anything else.
Again, there is no one currently in this room. It is very quiet.
Says to herself, since she's still got approximately 8 minutes of warding wind, "Ew. That brings back memories." She will stay away from the gong, lest the wind cause it to vibrate and make a sound. Since she is ahead of the party, she will explore the open passageway to the east.
The small passageway is closed off by a heavy portcullis. Someone strong could lift it. The upper doorway on the map is locked. Someone slick could pick it.
“Well. This is just a lovely place, isn’t it. Anyone have a clue as to what that rune might do? Slither, you’re a kind of shaman, right? Voodoo and hoodoo and all that?”

Bree
Mouths the words, “The goat of my dreams!” Or maybe it was, “I’ll go to the scene!” Or perhaps, “I just want to scream!” Nobody knows. :)
She will stride confidently along the north hallway, taking her warding wind with her.

Oh, uh, whoops. I forgot the normal Wild Surge roll for casting Warding Wind. Here goes: 6
No wild surge today!

Bree
"Gate to keep us out, or keep something in?" Perhaps best not to mess with it.
She will move to examine the locked door, but would hardly call herself slick. The wind probably rattles the door in place.

Making noise with a residual spell could or could not be in your favor. If there is a way to cancel the spell, that would be good.

Perfect. If Slither wants to look at the rune and make some rolls to try and figure out what they could mean, go for it.
"Sorry, Slither not that kind of shaman, yes? "
Slither puts on his spectacles and examines him book for clues...
Finding a note of interest Slither casts guidance on himself and looks at the rune
Arcana: 10
Ooc: advantage due to book use?
