Barlow, unless you have a trick up your sleeve, it was a pleasure playing both Strahd and Tomb with you. You truly brought some unique characters to the game, and it was great having you along for the rides. Acererak Power Word Kills you for his first turn. Your heart stops beating and you die. It's a 9th level spell and there is no save for this. Know that your death was not without victory, as you did help destroy the Soulmonger, and, in turn, save Syndra and the world. You did piss of a cosmic arch-lich, so I think fair's fair. I would have chosen Clayton, but I have something special for him that's almost like death.
Clayton, you are one hell of a knowledgeable and dedicated player, with one hell of a dangerous and clever character - which is why I saved the black hole for Clayton personally. for Acererak's second turn, he raises his hands and a pure black writhing Sphere of Annihilation decends upon you. Unless you have a way to move while Time Stopped, AND to avoid complete destruction from a 2 foot wide black hole passing through you, Acererak is sick of your shit and vaporizes you completely by passing it over you.
OOC: Since you asked, I actually do have a trick. Time Stop stops if you do something to affect another creature. That Power Word: Kill would’ve stopped the time stop. It’s oddly underpowered in that regard. But I will thank you very much for the compliment regardless! I think you’re a very fun DM as well
Clayton smiles with the destruction of the Soulmonger, but goes cold with Shariel’s death. He hopes that there’s a way to retrieve their bodies because he’s really doubting his escape right now. “I’m going to at least make this tough on you, Spice rack.” Clayton charges toward the fetus, his maul seeps smoke as his Hexblade’s Curse takes hold on the fetus. He hefts his first swing, Attack: 28 Damage: 13 magic bludgeoning damage. As it slams into the god, Clayton swings again, aiming for its head, Attack: 25 Damage: 19 magic bludgeoning damage. Next, he swings for its stomach, Attack: 22 Damage: 13 magic bludgeoning damage. Finally, he swings for its chest cavity again, Attack: 22 Damage: 17 magic bludgeoning damage. The fetus will also need to make another CON Save on its turn or take 9 oops 4d10, 16 radiant damage from the Sickening Radiance. Clayton breathes heavily, “I’m smacking your butt, you better start crying.”
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"An impressive attack at my experiment, but sadly, you will not win this day, mortal."
You attacks hit true on the GodFetus, it wails and cries out in defiance as you attack - injuring it nicely. Acerarak holds up his staff, and as a legendary action - ending this round - a wave of death overcomes everyone. (the fetus will take the damage, I'm too lazy to make the save lol it's got plenty of health.)
Everyone make a DC20 CON save or take 42 damage, or half of that if you save.
Grishkar Darkmoor, Necromancer of Nerull the Despiser Kelvin Rabbitfoot, Diviner, con artist, always hunting for a good sale Bründir Halfshield, Valor Bard, three-time Sheercleft Drinking Competition Champion, Hometown hero
Both need to make DC 21 Concentration Checks: Clayton 21 and Bree 11. Clayton makes it! And Bree will use Tides of Chaos for advantage! 10. Haste unfortunately drops, which means Clayton is not moving or taking actions this round...
Also, it’s Bree’s turn, due to her Initiative of 22.
Bree will unleash a 5th Level Scorching Ray at the fetus. 6 Rays! Attack: 12 Damage: 5 fire damage. Attack: 26 Damage: 7 fire damage. Attack: 25 Damage: 6 fire damage. Attack: 11 Damage: 8 fire damage. Attack: 14 Damage: 8 fire damage. Attack: 22 Damage: 11 fire damage.
(Now I get to start plotting my next character ;) Maybe my crusade-happy battle cleric? Or maybe we delve a bit into Shariel's legacy with one of her backstory connections? I've noticed that not many drive for the traditional Fighter archetype, so maybe my lively dwarf fighter?)

No, you can go. It DOES say that if I cast during time stop it ends. Fair is fair. I'll kill you another way.

Ok. Lets resolve one thing at a time:
The snake grappling attack completely misses.
Rolling for wild surge: 75
You grow an impressive pair of antlers. Cosmetic only lol.
Also, it's Mal's turn. Why did Slither go? Not that I mind or care.
Sli ther did not, the staff of the python went, it's initiative was a natural 1.
