Tellior seems a bit surprised to see Ember, but sits down with him. "What exactly do you mean Ember? I'm no expert on paladins, but perhaps my training could help?" He sounds the tiniest bit skeptical, as he was not the greatest at studying things.
"Ive always been able to call a healing fire to cauterize wounds but now i can do this." Embers sword flashes "and i can heal like you do. Could you help me figure out how to controll this properly?"

This Mug immediately shared with me a transcendental tale of an Infinite Mug that anchors the Universe and keeps it from folding in on itself. I filed this report under "illogical nonsense" and asked why its sign is in Times New Roman font, when it is basic knowledge that Arial Black is a far superior font. I wondered: How did this mug even get past the assembly line with its theistic beliefs and poor font choices?

Kellen chatted excitedly with the others after dinner until sleep overcame him. The next morning, he awakened refreshed and eager for the day ahead, but something felt ...different. Whether it was from the day spent in the Feywild, the magical influence of traveling along the Ley lines, or something else, he could not say, but he felt more in touch with his natural illusion magic.
He rushes to find the others “Celeste, Celeste! Please, tell me more about your owl. I had the most amazing dreams and feel like I can call a creature of my own.”
She replies- “That is wonderful! Well first you need to conduct the ceremony, with the proper materials, which I am certain you can purchase here, and you can call your familiar as one of many different types of animals. It is great having one. They are fragile however and easily overwhelmed by combat- but you can call them again, of course. “
Tellior smiles. "That new ability looks very useful. I assume it somehow adds to your attacks?" He then stands. "As for healing. Your spells come from your god, much like mine come from my god. So they might work a little different. For me at least, healing is just a quick prayer. And then I let the healing energy flow through me to the person I touch." He mutters a few words in Elvish and then makes a motion with his hand then touches a nearby table. "It would work like that - though I guess there is a moment where I call forth the actual magic in my mind."
He then continues, "I did find in my prayers this morning that my mind has been open to new magic abilities as well. Seems this land has done us both some good in growing our skills. Despite all your concerns." Tellior then gets a grin on his face and sets each of his hands on one of Ember's shoulders. He whispers a few Elvish words then makes a motion to touch the symbol of Milil on his cloak. Ember begins to glow with a reddish-orange light. (It is meant to be close to the color of light from his healing spell.) "Thank you for trying to heal me yesterday, by the way."
"Hmm, that color looks good on you," he says with a grin.
Ember grins "its the opposite of my healing fire. I found that out the hard way"
He seems confused when tellior mentions his god "that, maaaay be difficult seeing as i dont worship one" he laughs "unless there is a diety of oaths who is empowering mine? I will have to think about it, and thank you for your help"
As he leaves, he gestures with a sound like choking and telliors skin feels strange
When he looks down he is outlined in faint flames
"Figure out what that does please?"

“Oh, yes, more shopping”Kellen smiles “I am sure that we can find some time while we are out today. Although I daresay the job will not be as easy as it sounds. Does anyone need to do anything before Aspen arrives this morning?”
He turns back to Celeste “Perhaps we can talk more about your magic later. I have so many questions!”
"Ah! Well Ember, I can certainly tell you what this does," Tellior says. "It's a spell I can cast as well. It's like extra armor." He looks down at his skin again, "Though it looks a little different when I've used it."
With a yawn, Triss stumbles out to join the others. They'd slept surprisingly well, but now they're finding that they're still trying to blink the sleep out of their eyes as they survey their friends. Something feels different this morning. They just can't quite put their finger on it. So that's a problem for another time, then. Might just be the Feywild still, after all.
"Morning, all," they yawn. There's a slight tingle in their hand, and they shake it off before starting to pull their hair back into the usual braid. "Anyone heard from Aspen yet? I didn't sleep that late, did I?"
Just as Tellior says he hasn’t seen Aspen, there is a knock at the door. When you respond, you see the male dryad with spiky green hair, pale skin, and deep brown eyes who previously guarded the Lady’s library chamber the previous day. He is carrying a tray of breakfast food: fruit, fresh bread, pastries, cheese, etc. There is also a steaming pot of tea. He sets it all on a table in your room.
“Good morning, good morning! I have breakfast. As soon as you are ready, we’ll head to Berry Bakes.” He waits for you all to help yourselves, and then helps himself to a pastry. “It sounds as though you all had quite the adventures with Parolanta yesterday. She was very impressed with how you handled yourselves. No doubt we’ll have our own share of fun on this trip to the bakery. I believe you all also expressed an interest in some shopping? The bakery isn’t far from one of our larger markets, so we should be able to find anything you need.”

Celesta is hungry from spending much of the night in magical study, even her reverie was filled with visions of herself casting spells. She enjoys breakfast and, between bites, says “yes we certainly are interested in doing some more shopping. I think we are ready, once we eat!”
“Good morning!” Kellen realizes how hungry he is when he sees the food and quickly helps himself while discretely pocketing some of the bread and fruit in his pockets for later. “It is a pleasure to meet you Aspen, how long have you served Lady Daneilion?”Kellen speaks in between mouthfuls of food “I look forward to exploring the city with you on our errand. If yesterday is any guide, I am sure the streets will be full of surprises. I am ready.”
Tellior thanks Aspen for brining breakfast and sits down to quickly eat something light. "Yes, Aspen, is the city always full of so many surprises?" As soon as he is finished he stands, waiting for the others, ready to head out.
“I haven’t worked for Lady Daneliean for very long, maybe only three decades? But she is a delightful and generous leader. I hope to remain in her service for decades to come. Hedgegrove has always been full of life in all its beauty and danger, as is all of the Feywild. I would actually dare to suggest that it is a little safer and more predictable than most of the Truelands. But that doesn’t mean it is safe or predictable--ha! Shall we go?” And Aspen grabs an apple to take with him. He leads you all through various halls of the palace to a new exit, different from the first in that most of the plants in the garden have leaves or reds and oranges, rather than the greens of the garden you passed yesterday.
You enter the hedge road through a gate that Aspen informs you is the Summer Sun Gate. Not too far along the road, another dryad with rather ostentatious clothes of gold and purple and blue and orange greets you. “Good day, good day, good day to you all! Would you care to see some fine candles? We are having a tremendous sale!” He grabs Celesta by the arm, trying to pull her toward the shop. As she stumbles a little toward him, she feels his other hand nudge at her pack.

As Ember attempts to seize the flamboyant dryad’s wrist, he cries, “What is this? Leave me be!” He tries to twist away. (Acrobatics 16 ) Ember’s grip is too strong. As the dryad complains loudly, Ember pulls his hand away from Celesta’s back and you all see an item wrapped in leather in the dryad’s hand.
