Tellior continues to watch as his friends do not seem to determine anything. "Well, let's just get him back to the palace and let the Lady's court decide his fate. I imagine we will find the dagger is some family heirloom or something. Or attached to some notorious case. Ember, do you have him?"
Ember releases the dryad but tells him to come along

This Mug immediately shared with me a transcendental tale of an Infinite Mug that anchors the Universe and keeps it from folding in on itself. I filed this report under "illogical nonsense" and asked why its sign is in Times New Roman font, when it is basic knowledge that Arial Black is a far superior font. I wondered: How did this mug even get past the assembly line with its theistic beliefs and poor font choices?
quote from Romantically Apocalyptic byVitaly S Alexius
Kellen shows off the dagger to the group “It is a dagger, it doesn’t appear to be enchanted or cursed, but I suspect you can’t be too careful.” He nods at Tellior's suggestion that it could be a family heirloom and turns again to the dryad “Perhaps you are right, Tell. But tell me good Dryad, what is this dagger? Why are you trying to place it in her pack?”
He gives Ember a funny look as he releases the dryad “Ember, what are you doing?”
“Your friend--Ember, is it?--has realized that we are all civilized folk and force is unnecessary,” explains the dryad. “My name is Sallifras and I’ll be happy to accompany you to the palace.” He begins to step rather quickly in the direction of the palace gate which is several hundred feet away. Picking up his pace, he turns back toward the group and says, “Well? Are you all coming?” He gestures at you and begins to mutter under his breath.

Celesta says- “well we just left there, but I suppose we can go back. But we are not going with you free like that. You tried to sneak something into my pack. You will allow your hands to be bound first.”.

Sallifras stops in his tracks, his hands freeze, and his muttering stops.
(We aren't going fully into combat, unless you really want to...I just wanted to see if Tellior's or Sallifras' spell got off first. You have a moment as the Command spell holds the dryad in place for a few seconds. What would you all like to do?)

Tellior moves up beside Celesta to help with tying him and ready to grab the dryad if he tries anything. He does not look away but addresses Ember. "Looks like charm magic got you again Ember!"
The dryad recovers from the Command spell as Celesta and Tellior are tying his hands. His shoulders slump as he realizes that his escape plan didn’t work. After a moment, he takes a deep breath and says, “This really is quite unnecessary. I didn’t mean any harm. You could just give me back the dagger and I’ll go on my way, never to bother you again. There’s no reason to bother the palace with this trifling incident. Right, Ember?”
For Ember:
Fey Charm reads as follows, just so you know how to roleplay your situation: “The charmed creature regards the dryad as a trusted friend to be heeded and protected. Although the target isn't under the dryad's control, it takes the dryad's requests or actions in the most favorable way it can.”

Kellen pulls the spectral hand holding the dagger closer to him and away from the dryad. “Now wait just a second, you were just trying to sneak it away in her pack and now you want it back? And you still have not answered my questions, what is it and why are you trying to hide it in her pack?”
He glances nervously between Tellior and Ember, “Ember, what is going on? We don’t know this dryad, he can’t be trusted.”
"He is trustworthy" ember grimaces "but that doesnt mean hes not a thief"
He holds out his hands one wrapped in cloth
"Kellen. Hand me the dagger. You satyr. Dont move. Clesta untoe him"

Tellior looks at Ember. "You have to snap out of it, Ember! We aren't letting him go." He stays close to Celesta ready to help her or get between her and Ember if necessary. "We ARE taking him back to the palace. You have to trust us my friend."
The dryad looks back and forth between Ember and his friends. “Okay, okay, yes, I have an explanation. You want to know why I was trying to put the dagger in your friend’s pack and now I want it back. That is a good question. I can see why that would be confusing. So here’s my explanation. I, um, work at this shop here.” He glances at the shop where they first met. “And a customer wanted to trade this dagger for one of our items. So I did. But then I looked more closely and realized that I didn’t want to be tied to this dagger. So I tried to get rid of it. Very sorry, milady.” He bows to Celesta as well as he can with you all holding onto him. “I should never have gotten you involved. When you all noticed what I was doing, I came to my senses. Ember here is a good fellow and I never should have bothered you good people at all.”

(OOC - I know! Maybe - just a little bit - I can see why Ember is so concerned about these Fey lands!!! There isn't a charm he won't be charmed by!)
Tellior looks at Ember, confused. "Uh, Ember? What are you doing?" He now has a very close eye on the dryad, ready to cast a spell.

Tellior moves to follow the dryad. "Yes, let's go." He has Command ready to cast at any sign of the fellow making any moves.
(Insight to understand the muttering and gestures. He suspects a spell being cast and if that is the case he immediately casts: 17)

Tellior, you can tell that he is definitely casting a spell. Roll initiative to see who gets their spell off first. Sallifras' initiative: 4
(I'm guessing you are going to beat his initiative. Here's his Wisdom save against Command: 10)
