"I can help with a little bit of healing," Tellior says. He comes first to Celesta but casts a glance over towards Aspen. "Why don't I help you first Celesta." He sings a brief prayer to Milil and places a hand on her shoulder. (Healing: 7 hp) "How is Aspen doing?"
He then pauses a moment, "Actually, I could probably use some help myself."

This Mug immediately shared with me a transcendental tale of an Infinite Mug that anchors the Universe and keeps it from folding in on itself. I filed this report under "illogical nonsense" and asked why its sign is in Times New Roman font, when it is basic knowledge that Arial Black is a far superior font. I wondered: How did this mug even get past the assembly line with its theistic beliefs and poor font choices?

Ember and Tellior heal Aspen and Celesta, bringing the dryad back to consciousness and closing almost all of Celesta’s wounds. Aspen sits up slowly and looks around, “Thank you for the healing, Ember. It looks like you all finished the job here. A hag? I wonder where she came from.” He sits for a moment, just resting, and then says, “Goodberries! I have ten. Does anyone need more healing?” He sees that Tellior and Kellen look the most injured and gives each of you three berries (3 points of healing and you won’t be hungry for the rest of the day).
Kellen searches the hag (Investigation check, so you actually rolled a 17) and finds a couple of small pouches. One has 18 gp and the other has some questionable jerky in small pieces. You suspect that this is for the blood hawks. Speaking of the birds, the five bagged hawks are beginning to stir awake as the Sleep spell wears off.
Haldi also peeks out from the passage that connects the field with her shop. “Is everyone okay? I’m so sorry I couldn’t do anything to help! I have water and bandages if you need it.” She looks around the field and says, “What is that?” As you follow her gaze, you see an opening in the hedge in the back corner of the field.

Tellior takes the berries that Kellen offers, "Thank you, but I'm still in need of a bit of healing," he says. He follows Haldi's gaze and sees the opening as well. "Don't know what that it, but probably deserves a closer look. I really should rest up a little bit here though. Thank you Haldi for the bandages."
As you look at the opening in the hedge, you see that it is about four feet wide and high. While you were pretty busy dealing with the blood hawks and then the hag, you are still certain that the hedge was whole and unbroken in that area when you first entered the field.
“I’ve never noticed that before!” says Haldi. She starts to move cautiously in that direction, after handing out water and bandages to any who need them. “Usually the hedge around the field is continuous all the way around except for the passage to my shop. Do you think that is where the hag got in?” She stops about 30 feet away, definitely nervous about getting any closer to the shadowy space.

Kellen takes the goodberries from Aspen and quickly gobbles them down “Thank you Aspen, I feel a little better, but must admit I am still a little woozy.” Kellen shares the gold found on the hag, passing 4 gp to Ember, Tellior, and Celesta and 2 gp to Aspen “Here you go, a little something for the effort, not quite an even split, but some for everyone.”
Kellen keeps 4gp for himself as well as the bag of jerky. Maybe they will be able to tame some of the bloodhawks themselves.
Noticing the gap the in the hedges, Kellen is game to continue on. “Yes, we should take a look, but just a look. Depending on what lies beyond we may want to rest a bit before we explore in greater detail. Perhaps Haldi can keep an eye on the bagged bloodhawks for us until we return? Or do you want to take them with us? We should eventually take them to the Lady to be released where they will do no harm, although it would be nice to keep one. Maybe we could train them!”He looks wistfully at the bagged hawks, then moves with the others to check out the gap in the hedge, taking a close look to see what may have caused it as they get closer.

Haldi agrees to keep an eye on the bagged hawks, making sure they don't escape. As you approach the opening in the hedge, you see that it leads to something of an alcove about six feet deep and high. There’s a bit of bedding in one corner, an iron pot, some bread and fruit, a larger sack of jerky, and a waterskin. It looks as though the hag had made a bit of a home for herself here. As Celesta considers what she knows of fey creatures like hags (passive Arcana 16), she guesses that she had used some kind of illusion to hide the opening to the space. The illusion dropped when the hag died. Kellen pokes around a bit and finds a leather satchel under the bedding. It is decorated with various patches and designs that seem to form a face. When he looks inside, it appears to be empty.

Kellen conjures his spectral mage hand to grab the bag, picking it up and examining it from a distance. “Interesting, it appears to have a face. Do you notice any enchantments, Celesta?”
Celesta notices a strong aura around the bag, a sort of mix of transmutation and conjuration. She also senses something magical within her own backpack. Nothing else in the alcove seems to have any arcane nature.

Concentrating on her spell, Celesta says “Hmm… conjuration and transmutation… it’s definitely magical. I’ve heard of bags that are bigger on the inside, and I’ve also heard of other kinds of magic bags.. let me check something…”. She grabs a stick from the ground and puts it into the bag, carefully not reaching in herself. She then takes off her own pack and looks in it- to see what’s in there that is radiating magic.
