Myles, Tortimer: The both of you are able to shake your heads and be free of the sounds of the waves.
Myles:Your investigation of the house through its windows allows you to get a bit more understanding of how it may be laid out (adding an updated map here). There are, however, no other entrances.
(For the sake of keeping timing right, assuming Myles and Tortimer would head back after being free of the waves and investigating the windows, lets assume a meet in the middle or back at the door? That'll spare Sera that roll too lol)
"Doesn't seem like anyone's home," Myles murmurs to Tortimer. "Yet there's candles lit." He turns back. "Guess the only the entrance is the front door, unless we want to try and break the windows."
"Not much," Myles says. "We found that the mansion's built at the edge of a cliff over the sea. It also has solid protection on the windows. Best way to get in would be the front door."
(Are higher floor windows visible? Do they have metal too?)
Myles: There are windows on the second floor that you would've seen to the front and right side of the house, but they are also barred. And only the ones to the front are well lit, as it seems they may have the same light source as those right below them.
The four of you use the key you found around the neck of the corpse on the front door, which clicks in an abrupt manner. Once the key is turned, the doors begin to swing open on their own, opening the entry hall to you. Inside, there's a rather elegant carpet that runs from the doorway into the room. You can see that the main staircase to the second floor here is collapsed, but the balcony that it would've led to is still intact and wraps around the whole room, save for just over the front door. When the staircase became destroyed, it appears that it damaged some ornately carved furniture, as you can see broken pieces of deeply stained wood and several drawers throughout the rubble. There's also what looks like it might be a body amidst the wood, stone and plaster. Against the walls, there are tables with interesting knickknacks: candelabras, decorative vases, bowls filled with stones and potpourri. There is a path to your right that leads into an unlit corridor.
Sera picks up the bowls with potpourri and inspects the contents and the bowls themselves
Investigation Check: 20
If she doesn't find anything in the bowls Sera says, "Oh, how serendipitous. I need this to summon my pet. I've been feeling so perturbed without him. Please bare with with me"
She then pulls out the ingredients and throws them into the bowl and performs the ritual to Summon Familiar.
*If she finds something from the bowls I will respond differently
Tortimer: The body is trapped beneath a large quantity of rubble and would prove a bit difficult to pull out (General Strength check for me if you'd like to give it a go, with advantage if Myles helps). You are able to move bits and pieces off of it as you gauge the difficulty and notice that, while from afar it looked like a fleshy body in a uniform, its made from what looks and feels like wood. Stranger yet, where its face would be is a clay plate, molded to look vaguely humanoid. It's chipped and cracked along its outside edge.
Myles:The items you can see as you look around don't necessarily appear identical to the ones you saw in the cart, but they wouldn't seem out of place if presented as part of a collection together. You also get the sense that, while their stylings are a bit old fashioned, they would fetch a pretty penny.
Sera:You look in and around the bowls set out as decorations and recognize that the scent blend is one that was discontinued a long ago. The scarcity, in turn, caused the price of the mix to skyrocket and you think you'd be able to sell it for a tremendous gain. As far as other things in the bowls, you find some decorated metal scoops used to turn over the potpourri to enhance the scent, a flint and steel, 3 silver pieces, and a mother of pearl letter-opener.
While performing her ritual Sera recognizes the scent coming off the bowl. She thinks to herself, "This bowl could fetch me a wonderful price. I think I shall keep it."
After the 10 minute ritual she summons her pet owl and exclaims, "Oh, my dear Polus. How I missed you so."
She embraces her pet owl so tightly that it lets out a screech in discomfort.

Sera replies, "Perhaps, I've never been to fond of splitting the group. Unless they are doing my bidding..."

"This cliff. Is very interesting. Very mesmerizing." Tortimer says as he stares off the cliff and out into the underground sea.

"No, let us head back to the group." Tortimer says as he begins walking back the way they came.
Myles and Tortimer meet Sera and Satsuma just as the latter pair enters the mushrooms (Right by that revealed bedroom in the bottom right).
"Hey, we were getting worried. Find anything?", Satsuma asks.
"Not much," Myles says. "We found that the mansion's built at the edge of a cliff over the sea. It also has solid protection on the windows. Best way to get in would be the front door."

"The sea is interesting. Fascinating that it's here." He says as he heads back to the door. "Are yall ready?"
Satsuma takes up a fighting pose. "Ready for whatever may lay ahead when you are!"
Sera looks back and replies, "Yes, if we must."

What do you all do?
Tortimer steps in and surveys the room then focuses on the body. He moves over and begins to inspect it and see if he can pull it out.
Myles looks around at the furniture, seeing if they matched the items he saw back at the cart, then follows behind Tortimer to help him.
