Darkling 1 attacks nyx with dagger. 10. it misses.

Darkling 2 does the same(youre up front). 9. misses.

3 as well. 7. misses.

4 rolls 21. Nyx, take 6 damage.

(i still have darklings 5-10, not alerias turn yet.)

5: nat 1 it stabs 4 instead, dealing 4 damage.

6: nat 20. it deals 12 damage to nyx(sorry! youre the only target with a sword out in the front.)

7:whats 8 plus 5? uhhhhhh 13 hits. take 10 damage.

8: 24. this time it attacks kalina bc i feel sorry for you and deals 4 damage. she doesnt join the fight.

9(also attacking her): also 24. 10.

10: also hits. 

Alerias turn.

Aleria shoulders her way thru everyone and stands beside nyx. she attacks 10 with her greatsword. hits and deals 13 damage. 10 is dead. nyxs turn.

Kalina turns to Nyx and Aleria and glares. "Was that nessacary? and im not healing you."

Aleria laughs for no real reason. "theyre lucky i didnt let my kitties get involved." she strokes Equinox(a lion)s nose and reaches over to touch nyxs shoulder casually(less racism! yay!) and use lay on hands to heal them 30 hit points.

Nyx

Is surprised for a moment but quickly backs up

Aleria searchs the body and finds 4 copper peices and some junk. she gives nyx 2.

Kalina glared at the idiots who got into the fight and sighed, shrugging off her own(forgotten) wounds. it wasnt worth a healing spell.

Aleria glanced at Nyx walking beside her. maybe they weren't all bad. besides, she had a feeling the other were cowards since they stayed back from the fight. if a tiefling was the only one who wasnt an idiot, then the world had come to a sad place. but so be it.(rip "juicy, juicy drama")

oops. i was supposed to have aleria and nyx contest charisma with kalina before letting a fight start. oh well.

So i had something else planned but since a group of 1/2 cr fae beat you up im going to save it. you reach a wide area that makes a good campsite. take a long rest.

since munecatchers characters are fine, we can just assume they took the watches. 

So i devised a system of watches for when you dont have 2 elves(bc elves only need 4 hours of sleep and can alternate) for 6 member parties

rest time takes 10 hours instead of 8. teams of 2 alternate(which also gives better watches bc double eyes and you can split it so the blind people work with those who have darkvision) and each goes for... 2 and a half? 2 and something? (the math part is where this all falls apart) hours. wait no itd be 3 and something hours... math! and then everybody gets the required amount of sleep with throats slit in the heart of night. 

why am i rolling a 6 sided die? that is a good question. as your dm, i do not feel obligated to say.

(Nyx is a druid. are they available as a healer if something happened to Kalina?)

willow, look into artificers. i think it might be what you wanted for Nyx. basiclly magic x tech. you can multiclass nyx or i could just let you switch bc its early in the game.
