“…to be fair, we never did ask the man about traps or other dangers…” PM points out, slowly flying over the pit and tending to stay airborne after that.
Stitches light form shudders slightly as it splits into four glowing orbs. He positions the first one ten feet from Drego and the second 20 feet from the first. And continues that pattern so that the group has 80 feet of dimlight to see with in the crypt. (Should it be needed. If someone cautions against using that much light stitch will pull the lights back. Recasting it as needed as the group continues exploring)
Case says in a whisper, "In fact, he warned us that they may have set up traps or protections if they've indeed made this their lair. Shall Drego sneak forward and see what is ahead?"

Jax whispers back. "These people dug a hole in the floor and drew on the walls? Weird basement."Jax says, and he nods when Case suggests Drego sneak forward.
(OOC: Ok, just a note to make sure any misnaming is intentional lol. The priest's name is Derin, not Derek XD)
You all make it across the pit and into the antechamber proper. The whole room (including the pit) is about 25x30 feet, and has a door set in the back wall to the left.
(I'm sure that soon I'll lose patience with describing every room and just post the whole map of the dungeon and trust you guys not to metagame...but for now I'll give physical descriptions of the rooms)

Pieste Mor flutters (in a dragonly way!) around the room and, without touching anything, tries to search for any more possible traps or snares. They stay well away from the door... for now. That should be checked out by someone more skilled...

Drego moves ahead, scanning the floor for traps as he goes before approaching the door and examining it carefully. 'Stitch, c'mere and Help me, swing that light in would you?'
Case tilts his head, "Well, yes. That is true. Though I suppose with magic many things are possible, such as spells of silence or such." He shrugs, glancing at Drego for approval, before moving about the room and looking for clues.

"...you are right, of course..." PM concedes. "...tis quite common for basements to be the residence for nemesis involved in major magics and arcane shenanigans..."
Robin stays back by the pit she misty-stepped herself across, too-distracted by the destroyed construct below to pay attention to the room itself. (Rolled a 7 for investigation, so figured Robin was not going to find anything...)
However, with his nat 20, Case does in fact see four small holes in the walls of the second room, of the sort one might vent projectiles or magical gas out of.
With his leatherworking tools, thieves tools, and carpenter tools (and being proficient in them), can Case fashion some sort of plugs for the holes? Perhaps using some of his ball bearings or anything?
He attempts to plug the holes up, "I've no idea what these are for, but it can't be good."

Stitch moves his lights as needed to aid in any searching or exploration that needs done. When he sees Case begin plugging up the holes in the wall he walks over to him and looks up earnestly. Clearly wanting to help, but unsure of what to do.
Drego moves carefully into the second room, scanning for traps as he goes while Case attempts to plug up the holes, the ranger focuses on what can be learned in the room.
Case can in fact plug up the holes with a combo of the materials available and his proficiencies.
A few minutes later, the holes have been plugged with cloth-wrapped ball bearings hammered in, and as you all enter the room, a hissing sounds from the walls, but nothing makes it through. You have successfully bypassed the trap! Good job! :D
Drego finds no other traps or anything else to be learned.
This room is a little larger than the antechamber but similarly empty, and has one other door, set at the back right corner of the room.
"You don't even have emerald claws." Robin says, giving PM an amused smile. She stands back as the door is checked out, ready to assist if anything goes wrong.
