"I suggest we move on to the temple and return the compass." Robin says with a glance around. "I would also like to have some time to study those two magic items we found today, and that would be good to do prior to us leaving. So I suggest we spend the night here and get a start in the morning."
Presuming their business here is done, Case once again reaffirms that they will do their best to deliver the message as quickly as possible. "We will attempt to get this most vital message there as quickly as we can. Thank you and farewell."
Leaving the warlords home he begins walking towards the temple, "Once we return the compass, we should depart immediately. I know you are tired, but we must push on. A half-day could make all the difference against this unknown threat, and we will have plenty of time to rest on the road there."

You arrive back at the temple, which is now markedly quieter and more peaceful. You are able to enter and go to the main chapel, where you give the compass to Riska. "Thank you," the oathbound rasps. "I hope it was helpful in your journey."
On the way, Jax mentions to anyone he sees in the town that the group has vanquished the source of the blight, and he hopes that farming can improve, and also that the Seekers had nothing to do with the blight.
Once he gets to Riska, he tells her that he has been telling townsfolk the same thing. He says the compass was very helpful and led right to the exploding blood creature, which yelled something about a queen before he exploded. And he had a lot of skeletons ready to go in his basement. He gives specific directions to the house and asks her what she thinks about it.
Riska is silent as she listens to Jax's rendition of the journey outside of town. "It is concerning that so powerful an undead was able to make its lair so close to town," she rasps. "It is likely that his skeletal army was indeed the source of the blight, through their mere presence. The creature you describe sounds like a deathlock, a being created when a warlock does not fulfill the terms of their pact with a particularly territorial or cruel patron--likely in this case, the "Queen" the creature shouted about. Such creatures are doomed to forever serve their patrons in undeath. Whoever controlled this one will likely want you dead, if not for thwarting their plans, for depriving it of a useful servant."
"Is there anything else you need of us?" Robin asks. She sees their business done here, but would ask more out of habit than in expectation of anything the abbot might truly need of them at this point.
The dragon watches in amusement as the others (presumably) have to coax and convince Stitch to give up the shiny that they've grown so quickly attached to. Pieste Mor will then look to Riska point out how helpful and precise the compass was in leading them to the trouble. "...if it helped here so surely then no doubt it would be helpful in other situations caused by the same circumstances... one cannot help but wonder if the compass could be replicated in some way... undoubtedly we would find more use for it as we continue on this investigation but also it would seem a helpful tool for all communities to have access to..."
Riska chuckles dryly. "There is nothing else we require, no. Devices such as these can be found in many Seeker communities and temples across Karrnath, but to acquire one of your own, you will need to go the Crimson Monastery in Atur. Fortunately, I do believe that Atur is on your way to Korth. I wish you good fortune, and may the Divinity Within light your path."
Drego reaches down and firmly pries the compass from the little gobbo's fingers, replacing it with a handful of coins and a buttery soft leather pouch. 'Here, these are better than that compass pal, and it's not ours to keep anyway'
As Case mentions travel to Atur the ranger speaks up 'Tomorrow is soon enough to begin our journey, Stitch and I are completely spent and need a hot meal and some sleep.'
Stitch does throw quite the tantrum at needing to return the shiny compass. The way the arrow spun around... especially after killing that large skeleton guy... so much fun to watch... but what’s this? A bag full of shiny’s just for me? Stitch doesn’t even hear Drego mention food or a rest having become completely enamored with looking at the different colors and sizes of the coins and clinking them together.
(Totally fine either way. Setting off now and resting en route or resting here and setting out in the morning.)
Case nods, "Tomorrow it is. Let us retire to the Inn for an evening of rest." Case walks off towards the Inn where he plans to spend the evening sitting in a chair all night guarding the stairs.

"A rest would be good." Robin says with a nod. "A bath, a couple glasses of wine, and some time to examine those magical items we found." She smiles and follows Case to the inn. Once there she does those things mentioned, bath in her room, with a bottle of wine, and then spending time studying each of the two items. The wand first, then the bag. As she has already learned the bag uses transformation magic, she would be quite careful with it. (Are we using the short-rest identify options here?)
At the Gold Dragon Inn, you can get rooms and board from the innkeep, a matronly halfling named Virian d'Ghallanda.
(Each room is 8 sovereigns (sp), so each person getting one, be sure to deduct that from your funds. And yes, I do the short rest identification rules. The bag is a bag of holding and the wand is a wand of magic missiles)
Drego plops a single piece on the counter for a room for himself and Stitch. He hands Stitch the two coins he gets in return, placing one in each of the goblins palms, leading him over to a table in the corner of the Inn where Case sits as he does.
The ranger makes sure the goblin eats most of the stew and sips at the mulled wine slowly before turn his attention to his own meal. Once they were both fed and had a few minutes to drink in the atmosphere of the tavern, Drego would turn to Case 'I appreciate you taking the watch down here for the night. I'll settle this one' a jerk of the head indicates Stitch 'and then come back to take a mid-evening shift roaming the inner and outer grounds, make sure nothing untoward is coming our way.'
Jax lets PM handle his money, and orders two dinners, eating happily at the table while Robin sits with the bag and the wand. He watches as the bag is discovered, and once he realizes how it might work, he points at it. "Mind if I try?"
He sticks his hand in. "Axe."Pulls it out. Puts it back in. "Disembodied hand." Pulls it out. Puts it back in. "Bag of gems." Pulls it out. Puts it back in. "Potato." Pulls it out. Puts it back in. Rolls his eyes."Wand."Pulls it out. Puts it back in. "Blanket." Pulls it out. Puts it back in. "Secret message." Pulls it out. Puts it back in. "Keg of ale."

Jax is happy to move or rest. He hands the purse to PM, unsure how many 100 is vs 500 vs 5. (We do need to go to the temple, right?)

Case replies to Riska, "Actually, our path does take us to Atur. That is where we plan on taking the electric rail from."

He's utterly focused on this.
Jax continues trying, and Books can tell you unequivocally that nothing he says will come out of that bag.
