Tine removes her hood revealing her bright red hair falling against her pale face. The tips of her ears sticking out. She is dressed in a simple outfit that an entertainer would wear purposely cut to accent her features in an elegant and graceful way. Her instruments hang more comfortably than were her rapier rests as she tries to put it back in the scabbard the is dropped lower than it should be. It is clear from her actions and dress she is not accustomed to using it. She just takes in what happened and the conversation going on, as she reaches down to pick up the feather that catches her eye.
“My letter just said to find the truth and that I should come to the crossroad…how are you all so calm right now. Maybe we can all just go back to the tavern and rest until morning...it's probably safe back there.”she says piping up to speak, he voice hushed still a little frightened and taken back by what happened.
Brenfaen had heard Robin, nodding and taking a feather too. "Yeah, that would be for the best." he says back before hearing Nazan. Then he hears Tine, noticing the ears and entire ensemble as he smiles gently. "A lot has just happened and panicking wouldn't do us any good right now. If anything, we should be able to rest at her father's place too." he tells her. Then he looks at the planchette, knowing that they have to take it. If this really is a trap and these innocent people are being dragged into this, he wanted to make sure that he doesn't make the same mistake again. So Brenfaen will go over and pick up the planchette too.
"And which tavern would that be?" Robin asks, glancing over at the mention of heading back to the tavern. "There are literally hundreds of taverns in Sharn. Which did you come from?" She frowns as she asks. "I know of several that were near my home in the Dura quarter... The Broken Mirror, The King of Fire, and The Drunken Dragon, just to mention a few..."
Robin shrugs. "Guess it doesn't really matter. "Come along, I'll lead the way, we can be back at my father's place in less than a half an hour, and can discuss things further there." She turns and starts to lead the way back downt he path she took to reach this crossroads. As she does she glances over her shoulder, smiling to the others as they turn to follow her.
"What..." Robin says as she frown, seeing the others starting down a path across the way from her. "Guys, I am over here..." She says, but then considers things a bit more. "Um, think we have a problem all... Can someone else try to lead the way out of here? Maybe it is just me that can't leave..."
One by one... they step into the mists after Robin. One by one, they emerge beside her. Except maybe the last person in line, who possibly had enough time to process what's going on.
Tobin has been watching each of the others carefully, though Nazan more than the others. He doesn't seem at all put out by the weather. He's panicking, though, at the idea of being unable to leave. Though he knows it's futile, he turns back the way he came and sprints for his life. He skids to a halt when he sees the group in front of him. His eyes wide, his nostrils flared, he rejoins the group. "A trap!" he spits. "You!" he growls, grabbing the gnome by the collar, "Go that way!" he orders, pointing in the direction he had just run toward. He turns back to the path he popped out from. "Ready?" (If Taonos complies, they'll be heading in opposite/complementary directions.)

Tobin Greenleaf
The barbarian's nostrils flare angrily as he glares at Taonos. Turning, he scoops up a stray stone from the ground and, with a yell of frustration, hurls it down the path (Athletics: 21) Then he wheels and starts pacing, his fists and teeth clenched tight.

Brenfaen had been shocked as they couldn't leave at all before witnessing the two arguing. "Yes, let's all settle down and think about it." he said back, thinking. If they can't leave the way they normally came, there must be a certain way that they have to go. Could it have something to do with the feathers and this thing? Brenfaen pulled out the planchette and tried to figure out what this thing could be and possibly do.
Nazan takes his pack of his shoulder and takes out a heap of rope. Hold this he says as he hands Tine one end of the rope and holding the other end he wanders into the mist.

Tobin Greenleaf
Tobin's eyes widen for a moment and he rubs the back of his head. He turns and looks at the stone, and his anger dissolves. He picks it up and puts it in his pocket, shaking his head with amusement. Finally he turns back to Taonos. "No, my apologies to you, good gnome, for my temper." He sighs. "The feathers don't seem to do anything, so perhaps that device is the clue." He looks at the device in Brenfaen's hand, his brow furrowed. (Arcana 5)
He scratches his head. "I think I've seen my mother use something like this," he says. "May I?"
"Does anyone have a bit of parchment...and perhaps a quill?"
Nazan will take a feather and place it in the same pocket where he stowed something a few moments ago.
He sees Tobin glancing at him and says: Dont worry, its nothing that could spread or harm you. This is my burden to carry

Someone has to take the first step into one of the paths...

Also. These crossroads were extremely close... Yet none of you have seen Robin or her family, who's house is supposedly nearby.

Robin steps into the mists...
Only to come back out, a few moments after disappearing. From the opposite side.
"What..." Robin says as she frown, seeing the others starting down a path across the way from her. "Guys, I am over here..." She says, but then considers things a bit more. "Um, think we have a problem all... Can someone else try to lead the way out of here? Maybe it is just me that can't leave..."

The stone hurtles into the mist. To knock Tobin at the back of the head. You take 1 bludgeoning damage.
