(OOC - Nolla passed the stress roll and that's just to add a counter, no other effect at this point. Sorry I missed your roll. It was a vision in Nolla's mind. So just iterating my answer from before, no, Samael and the others would not see it. But they would see the creature before it disappeared.)
Nolla blinks her eyes, placing a hand on the wall as she closes her eyes, frowning at the vision in her head. When it passes she glances to her companions, but doesn't speak of it, as she does not wish to make more noise. Are we in combat now?
The space ahead show no sign of the bizarre creature you witnessed vanish into the shadows. All that remains is the neogi laying on the ground in front of you. Several narrow and small tunnels branch off from here, creating a maze of a warren in this section of underground.
"Let's look around, see if we can figure out what's going on and where to go from here," the paladin says. "I'm not a great tracker but I'll help as best I can...another set of eyes and all that." He takes a moment to, as quietly as possible, score the tunnel they just left, indicating which they used to enter the chamber.
ooc: will give Help to anyone trying to use Survival. Also, will use either Perception (20) and/or Insight (4) to figure out what this room is about and what's going on.
Nolla nods and starts to look around, seeing if there are any signs of the thing they spotted, or any tracks to tell where it might have gone... Survival: 17
Nolla and Thavriol search the area as Nolla describes things to look for. After a thorough search you don't find any tracks and you can ascertain from this that the creature teleported rather than just became invisible and ran away. The area itself doesn't reveal a specific purpose for this space other than another junction, however based on the direction the creature was dragging the neogi, it would appear that it was dragging it towards three options.
Perigord looks over the creature lying on the ground and as he inspects the creature, his careful attempts to find any information don't reveal much of the creature they saw, however as he lifts the head to look for any marks, the neogi stirs slightly for a split second then remains dormant on the ground.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Nolla moves to the 3 passages it seemed were the only real options as to where the thing was dragging the body. She looks at each of the tunnels to see if she can figure out which was more likely than the others as the destination... Survival: 13
"doubtful, but when all you have is a psychotic weapon...." Samael whacks the neogi right on the head with his mace. (if he ain't dead yet, I'm gonna make sure he dead)
As Samael whacks the unconscious neogi in the head until it is most definitely dead, the purring voice in the back of your mind chuckles... "Yesss..."
(OOC - just makes me think of Major Payne - "If he ain't dead, he ain't happy." haha)
Nolla's search is meticulous and it takes some time to find a sign of which way the creature was going, as the black moss seems to grow back over any disturbances quickly, but you manage to find a few scrapes and scratches and debris that indicate the path the creature intended to take.
(OOC - I just imagine that everyone looks quizzically at Samael as he has the internal/external dialogue. Like Gollum arguing with himself only one side of the conversation isn't audible haha)

(do we see her on the ground having a fit of sorts?)
(I don't know if Nolla passed the stress check or not, so need information from DM before I can post anything more on the current situation.)

"keep your guard up. we're not alone down here."
Perigord moves a bit forward, holding his lantern up in case the thing is just hiding in the shadows, trying to get a better read on the room.

Perigord inspects the Neogi corpse, trying to get an idea of what it is that killed it/was carrying it.

Samael, already annoyed by voices and the hallucinations, sees the stirring.
"Perigord, get clear, it seems we have an uninvited guest." Samael marches over there, mace ready to smash the neogi's head in.
Taking the dodge action, Perigord backs up, pulling out his rapier.
The neogi remains still.
