"Our attempts to placate the sphinx have not been met with reason," the older satyr answers. "It has gone mad, speaking in riddles and making unreasonable demands. And we do not bear the strength to chase it out of the forest by force."
Aisha half-smirks at their threat, considering that either they were stronger than the party, and thus able to defeat the creature, or were weaker than the party and would never have the chance to beat them in the first place. Well you should nyever throw something at someone you don't want them to take. she says nonchalantly, though she does ultimately put the arrows down if only to save their strength for the likely fight to come. Aisha had never heard of a sphinx, yet she had heard tales of creatures with riddles and threats.
Then let us go to it and deal with it. We get it... whatever it is 'might' kill us. So has nearly every obstacle we've faced to this point - Something that 'could' kill us. Yet herrre we are. We will try peace, then war if needed. Just allow us to try. We do nyot care how much or little confidence you have in our sucess. her tone wasn't threatening nor insulting, but rather as exhausted an expression as she had felt the day(s) prior.
Harmony listened to the Satyrs describe and talk about the Sphinx, thinking. Body of a lion with wings and that speaks in riddles, making demands and not letting trespassers through?? Why does that sound so familiar? She thought and thought about it before remembering it now as she looked at Garu. "Garu, we already fought a Sphinx and won though, remember? We had encountered a Sphinx in that tower place! It wouldn't let us through because it said Simeon wasn't wise enough and we had to fight it. Hopefully this time we can get through peacefully." Harmony had said to her, thinking that they should have no problem defeating another Sphinx again if they have to.
"Do not misunderstand. Should you triumph over the creature, you will have our gratitude. But you have been warned - should we discover your corpses, our conscience will be cleared," the younger speaker placates Aisha. The satyr clear a path for the party to traverse forward.
"The trail is overgrown, but an experienced tracker should have no trouble finding the circle. It lies in a small cavern to the side of a pond some few miles ahead."
Aisha nods saying Aisha prefers to stay in the back or the middle. So lead the way. I will make sure we do not get lost by leaving markers, if nyothing else. Clearly ready to proceed.

Garu Survival: 18
The satyr nod solemnly, allowing you to pass. Once you are nearly out of sight, you hear their weapons sheathing behind you, following by the rustle of foliage as they disappear within the forest.
Garu leads you for nearly an hour through the tangled path. Eventually, it opens into the described clearing. The pond is little more than a swampy lowland to the left of the clearing, but the cave opening described by the satyr lies nearly 80 feet ahead of it along the path.
Harmony nodded back, smiling and thanking the satyrs before taking the middle rank. Then they walked for a good while before she could see the pond and then the cave opening, thinking that this is it. "That must be it, let's go!" Harmony had said to them, smiling.

Aisha shrugs noncommittally. Well we are nyot sure if the Sfincks is on this side or the other side of the portal. Aisha feels we should assume it is on this side, and our smartest go forward... Aisha believes with the loss of our mage and.. undead thing from the past, that would likely be you. Harrmony and I can stay back, so if it does come to a fight... we'll have some advantage .. and you are the sturdiest of the thrrree of us.
If it is nyot on this side... then we shall go to the other side and see what happens.
Aisha would stealth for this as well as Tsavi if Garu agrees.

Harmony Stealth: 6
The fearsome beast makes itself known just a moment later, as Garu approaches the cavern. Emerging from the shadows of the entrance, the large creature glares down at the approaching paladin, its leonine face twisted in a sneer as it unfurls its wings to a full length, well over 10 feet.
"Mighty brave of you to face me alone, kitten," the sphinx booms. "Tell me, before I tear you limb from limb...what would cause you to do such a thing?"
Aisha waits fifty feet away in the brush with T'savi and Harmony, seeing this all occur.
Garu stands in place as she reviews the situation, assessing the sphinx.
“It has been my experience that your kind is strong in wisdom and intellect and values the same. I have great respect for both the skills you possess in these traits as well as your cunning ability to tear opponents apart. The passage sought is through the portal you guard. I feel that you might derive some greater satisfaction in a test of sorts.
What say you?”

Aisha watches the scene from wherever she happened to be. Glad that the creature didn't seem to notice them, though Aisha was expecting something else after what the others had described the prior sphinx doing, but it seemed that this one either held no interest in such things for some reason, or was simply different in some way. Regardless, she hoped that Garu was ready to defend herself at a moments notice.Aisha drew her bow back, signalling for Tsavi to be ready to charge as soon as her bow twanged.
Aisha pulled back the knocked arrow and if the Sphinx actually attacked, she would let fly, and Tsavi would charge in for a leaping claw attack.
(I assume that since combat hasn't started, doing both of those can take place since out of combat etc)

Tsavattack: Attack: 24 Damage: 10
Claw Tackle DC 12 STR or be knocked down (Or DM's choice since sphinx is large)
