Aisha begins fiddling with everything on the table, seeing if it would move, shift, or be lifted off a pressure plate. If nothing she would carefully place her weight down on the mat holding onto the table incase of a pitfall. if nothing came of that she would touch the weblike pattern on the wall. After that... she would find herself atlest immediately stumped.
(I hate to be ignorant, but I can't think of anything we found.... I collected some books, we got the note but aside from that i see nothing in my own inventory. The note doesn't detail any activity, just speaks about the portal, and I don't remembr us collecting anything else unless it's the water from the banshee fight - I'm at a legit loss, and normally i can see the threads connect the only thing I can think of is for Aisha to read through the books/journal...)
Harmony couldn't find anything, looking at the altar as she was thinking. Is there anything else? Then she thought of the note before, then realizing it. "What if we say that command that was on the note?" Harmony questioned as that seems like it would make the most sense to do at an altar like this.
The Cyndari reports that your diversions are working to great effect. Enough time has been bought at Hexfeuer for the demon to solidify the strength within the shrine of Impag. The device is remarkable. At this point, I would wager even the most wondrous weapon on this world could not cause a simple scratch. Each sacrifice brought by the Dokkalfar swell its power. It shant be long before the avatar of Kayel himself steps through the shrine to bring us into his new world.
Dohkloom - that is the command, when the portal in the tunnels is ready.
Your most loyal servant, Philip Phyllos Aisha looks it over, again and again but still can't see anything solid.
Diversions... Strength in the shrine... probably the undead guards. Striking the shrine with a weapon? It says wonderous but all of us have... mundane weapons... A sacrifice swells its power, and kayel himself stepping through.
The only two Aisha can see making sense is either we have to sacrifice someone to the portal.... or ... wait for kayel to come through himself... Nothing else makes sense. And if it isn't sacrifice and we did... then that person would die for nyothing... it was then, and only then, after re-reading the note again and again and again that Aisha realized what it was. That wasn't a name mentioned, it was the word...
When Aisha speaks the word, as Harmony suggested the altar begins to glow with a sickening purple-black light. The center of the weblike pattern on the wall emanates the same glow, tracing outward and becoming green near the outer edges. There is a brief pause before an arcane eruption, the webbed pattern all at once becoming a wavering portal. The blurred, watery image of a dark forested hillside displays inside the portal.
Giving only enough time for her sister to prepare herself... Aisha says to everyone All that is left is to do it.... let's go... before going to the other side, weapon drawn, and if something is on the other side, she attacks it with dual daggers....
You emerge into the shadowy woods of the hillside shown through the portal. The air is significantly warmer here, but you have little time to adjust to your surroundings.
"Hold!" A gruff voice shouts. Then, at Aisha emerging with daggers drawn, "Stand down!"
The sound of crossbow bolts clicking into place fills the air around you, before another shout, "No, hold! Hold! These aren't undead."
Standing over seven feet tall and rippling with muscle, a man emerges from the forest with his sword sheathed and crossbow held down. Looking to Aisha and Harmony much like an orc from their homeworld, Garu recognizes the man as a Rikirtan Ork, whose intelligence and attitude are more closely aligned with the half-orcs that Aisha and Harmony are used to.
A half-dozen other Orks reveal themselves among the trees, most keeping their crossbows leveled toward the speaker, who speaks toward the party, though his eyes remain on Aisha's daggers. "I am correct, am I not?"
It worked! Harmony nodded, walking with everyone else through the portal. Then she was shocked as crossbow bolts were drawn at them before the Orc man stopped them, asking if they are undead. "Yes, we certainly are not undead." Harmony spoke as well.
Aisha kept her daggers drawn but low. Responding with Nay, we are nyot undead. But are you allied with Kayel or the Dokkalfar? Know of the shirne of Impeg,
The Ork growls at the mention of Dokkalfar. "Those demons have been massing at Hexfeuer for some time now. We don't know what they're doing, but they brought powerful undead with them. Men and women who looked like men and women but fought with an unnatural power. They tore us to shreds the first time we attacked," he says.
With a slight sigh, Aisha Lowers, but still holds her blades. That is good then, though you have nyo idea nyow much danger you were in. We just fought our way through many many undead to get here. Their porrrtal led to where we appeared. If not for us, you likely would have been taken by surprise but at-least a platoon of various undead. If any among you are healers, some of us need healing... she says, looking mostly at her sister, but even harmony and Garu needed a light touch. If nyot... that is fine... but aisha needs you to tell her of the situation in more detail.
Kayel is about to be summoned to this plane. And kayel has betrayed the worrrld, and his fellow dieties. If we do nyot stop him.. he will cause your world to collide with ours, and kill everyone that is not a diety.... Despite how ragged we look, we have already stopped such a thing two, if nyot three times... as far as Aisha is aware, this is the last time we will have to stop it... but also... our last chance TO stop it...
The Ork pauses, staring at Aisha until her explanation concludes, then gazing at the rest of the party for a few seconds longer.
"...Crossbows down," he commands, and the other Orks among the trees obey.
"A tenday ago I wouldn't have believed a word of what you say, but what you see behind me is all that remains of my village's fighters. I've never seen such power as the creatures we fought. We cannot offer healing, but we can offer to watch your back and prevent anything from following you through that portal."
He scratches his head and thinks for a moment before continuing, "Most of what you are saying is beyond my knowledge, I'm afraid. I only know that the Dokkalfar, those sea demons, appeared near Hexfeuer and have occupied the ruins. The entrance is on the opposite side of this hill."
Dokkalfar, sea demons; of course she would be mistaken as being an evil demon that's helping Kayel. Wait, that's it. "Thank you very much. Even that will help." she says to the Orks with a smile. Then she looks back to Garu and Aisha. "If these Dokkalfar are sea demons, what the people of this world seem to think I am, we might be able to use that to our advantage. We could do like we had done before, infiltrate from within and attack them by surprise when they least suspect it." Harmony suggested to the two.

After Garu finds no sign of a trap among the altar, Aisha moves forward to leap upon the altar and place her hands upon the idols.
After a brief moment of tension, nothing occurs.

Harmony will try to help investigate and look around too while still sticking close to Rajira.
None of the activity as a result of Aisha and Harmony investigating the room seems to change anything about it. All is still silent.
