Finn jumps 11ft away from Crowfell and says with irritation dripping from his words, "****er could have at least let us in on this little coup of his." And he readies his shield and a hand axe
Kel vaguely recalls something about 'disrupting the ritual' being planned and assumes this is what was meant. "I am very tired of fighting," they mutter, readying their warhammer.
The sudden strike by Ploop against his own daughter takes almost everyone by surprise, leaving most of the normal kuo-toa in a state of shock for the time being. But the rest of the priests on both sides engage, keeping your group surrounded near the altar.
Your companions, while also surprised, are also ready, agreeing that this must be the trap they were used as bait for, and the hell if some damn fish folk were going to drag them under here. They manage to take down a nearby monitor and press close to keep you all from being separated.
Both priests, cast sanctuary on themselves before moving towards Blopp.
(Sennet up. You could reach the Blopp, either of the two priests, or the kuo-toa that was guarding you personally. This goes for everyone else too.)
Sennet, wanting some revenge on the Kuo-Toa that was guarding him, will shout out into the air then take his glaive and thrust it at that one.

Unfortunately, perhaps due to the area being slick with water and blood, your attacks manage to swing wide of the kuo-toa, doing no damage as they suddenly snap out of their shocked state.
Lightening crackles between Kel's teeth as they briefly survey the scene. They bite it back, not trusting themself to hit only enemies. Instead, they swing their war hammer at one of the priests.

Crowfell decides to dance and skirt around anyone in his way. Taking cover behind walls of allies. He's a team player, though. So when he sees Fin has managed to hit somebody, purple eldritch energy gathers in his hand. A flick of his wrist and the eldritch blast speeds towards the enemy Fin is smacking.
That purple blast of energy sends the kuo-toa reeling, wobbling precariously as blood oozes from various orifices. It's alive...barely...
Ploop engages with Blopp, smacking her hard several times before brandishing a darkly glowing staff (spiritual weapon), hitting her once more before she is able to slow him down. She yells something incoherent at Ploop and takes a few swings at him, but his experience proves the better, and nimbly weaves around her attacks for now.
Your companions strike fast and hard at the kuo-toa guards, but suddenly realize that more and more kuo-toa are starting to show up, being thrown into the battle frenzy as the two sides of the religious line go from merely shouting to an outright brawl. "There's too many of them!" shouts Eldeth. "There's no way we can wade through them yet! Stay close and stay alive!" They take up a more defensive posture...
The two priests begin to cast cure wounds on their allies, as the shock and awe of the moment wears off, bringing everyone into the fray...
A strong blow! The glaive rends the guard deep on the chest, making them fall over in a heap of fishy blood and guts, and leaving you with a clear shot at the rebellious priestess (Blopp) perhaps...
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Seeing the number of kuo-toa massing around them, Kel will growl to themself and attempt to position themself where they won't hit any allies, finally unleashing the lightening crackling between their teeth. It's rare that they use the draconic breath they inherited, but well. The situation warrants it, they suppose.
Breath Weapon: 5 by 30ft line, DEX DC 12 save, half-damage if they make it. Lightening damage.
Several low ranking kuo-toa that showed up to help the priests are suddenly stunned by the wave of lightening that shoots out from Kel, including Blopp. Everyone is hurt some, but still raging in bloodthirst...

RIP my plan. Initiative 4.
Crowfell's jaw drops as Ploop and the others effectively ruin his strategy. So flabbergasted is he, that the half drow's actions are delayed.
Kel vaguely recalls something about 'disrupting the ritual' being planned and assumes this is what was meant. "I am very tired of fighting," they mutter, readying their warhammer.

Finn lashes out at the nearest kuo-toa with his hand axe.

(I'd like to use a bonus action from my 2 weapon fighting feat to use my shield as an improvised weapon if possible)
(Technically it isn't a weapon, but I'd allow it as an unarmed strike)
Attack: 13 damage: 4
Finn's axe swings a bit wide of the stunned kuo-toa but with a deft turn you're able to slam your shield into it's front for a solid hit!
