"Then I guess we head to the waterfall," Finn says, looking around to make sure nothing of use was forgotten. "Will we have enough rope to get down from there?"
The battle rages on and gets louder the closer you get to the waterfall and you can see just on the other side, groups of drow fending off invading demons, already engaged in their own battle. It is an ugly fight in the dim light, as both drow and demon take heavy losses.
[I will need a marching order and stealth checks. Also, are you going to try and use the webs to get down partway first? Or just leap into the water and hope for the best?]
Finn will be towards the middle with his bow at the ready. He is looking for any attackers. If a drow or demon rushes toward the group, he will shoot first and switch to his battleaxe when they get about 30ft from him.
"Remember. I can probably talk our way past drow. Does that mean we should walk up to them and try to be friends?" Comments Crowfell to the others. "No. Not really. But we should save our energy and resources, if we can." Another beat passes by. "And none of you responded whether or not you would like to take the bodyguard job."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Kel heads towards the waterfall, keeping an eye out. They're somewhere towards the front. When they get there, they're gonna follow Sennet's lead and just leap into the water and pray to their god because they don't trust trying to use sticky webbing to get down.
Despite the battle continuing just beyond the waterfall, one of the drow elite guards just manages to catch a glimpse of your group getting ready to jump down into the water below. He starts to shout at you all before a waylaid Vrock demon slams into him against the wall. You all begin jumping off into the pool below, except Ulbeth who aims for the webs. Unfortunately, the webs are incredibly sticky, even for a drow, leaving yourestrained. There's more bad news: everyone who jumped into the pool, while not taking any immediate damage, have greatly irritated thegray ooze. In your minds you all hear "FLESH FOR THE FACELESS LORD!!!"
[Ulbeth you need to roll a strength check to try and break free of the webs and let me know where you aimed for on the webs. Everyone, including Ulbeth needs to roll initiative!]
(The webs cover most of the area under the outpost except at the waterfall. You could fall anywhere and try to break through, but it is a long ways to the ground still. For reference, if you are on the ground below you cannot see the outpost above due to the webs.)
As you all begin to fall down into the pool (no one takes any falling damage), the gray ooze comes to life, enraged at your intrusion and will take a swing at the twins. You see a bit of the ooze sloop out and smack both twins, making them wince and try to bounce away as quickly as possible
Ulbet 13 :: Ulbeth, you find yourself restrained by the webs, currently unable to break free, having landed only a few feet away from the edge, the break that opens up by the waterfall to the pool below. (It's your turn)
Sennet 11
Finn 9
Kel 8
(Have you all decided which direction you're going to go? North, West, or South?)
Sennet, after landing in the pool will swim to the surface, and as his face breaches the water, he takes a large gasp of air. He then proceeds to make his way to the shore of the pool.
(Using full 30ft to get out of pool. If a dash is needed to get out, I'll dash to finish getting out. If no dash is needed, Sennet will stay along the shore with his weapon drawn to make sure everyone get's out safely.)
"Then I guess we head to the waterfall," Finn says, looking around to make sure nothing of use was forgotten. "Will we have enough rope to get down from there?"
Sennet, after hearing the information from the Myconid, will nod and follow behind it. "Alright, down the waterfall we go. Lead the way Stool."

Seeing the spiders drag away the other that fell off the edge, Sennet will attempt to aim just for the water, going first in the line.

Stealth 13. He's going to wait until people are in front of him- but not going to be last. Somewhere in the middle. The webs.

Initiative 13. As far away from the spiders as possible.

Crowfell wriggles around but probably gets himself more entangled. "Guys! This was a terrible idea! Help!"
