Stormraider Keep (A M.E.T.A.L. Campaign)

Hopefully Aurelius' protection from evil and good is still in effect, which protects him from being "charmed,  frightened, or possessed" by aberrations.

(In case not, I will roll the save with advantage, due to fey ancestry: WIS save 24)

If Flynt has succumbed to the Charm effect, then Aurelius will drop his own protection spell, and cast one on the human fighter.

If Flynt has resisted the Charm, then the half-elf will wearily charge at Eelhead 3, zig-zagging around the tower like a billiard ball. (Ending up at M10)

First Longsword Attack: 21 Damage: 6 + 8 fire damage (double if critical hit)

Second Longsword Attack: 17 Damage: 6 + 6 fire damage (double if critical hit)

"Back to the darkness, foul creatures! Back to your blighted world of unholy terror! Begone from this fair realm!"

Elyria moves back to the opposite the wall (to N14) and hides (Stealth as bonus action: 28 ) before peeking around the corner and firing another arrow at the aberration (Eelhead 3)
Longbow: 18 Damage: 5 (Go with first roll if hiding unsuccessful or not possible)
She then leans back again for full cover (still in N14)

Flynts save: 3

Flynt shakes his head trying to clear his mind of the potential intrusion.

(Awe booooo....added text and got the manipulation warning. DDB also changed the roll. It was originally a 14.)

(Will wait with Gere and Freke's actions til after posted actions have been resolved if that is okay.)

Round 4

Aurelius and Flynt both resist the mental intrusion of the aberrations. (Yes, Aurelius' spell should still be in effect.)

Aurelius then hits Eelhead 3 with both of his strikes. The beast is heavily wounded but not defeated yet.

Elyria manages to hide successfully but her shot misses.

(Flynt is now up.)

Flynt continues his barage against eelhead M.

Attack: 13 Damage: 17

Attack: 23 Damage: 20

Attack: 18 Damage: 15

(Eelhead M disappeared around the corner. I will assume you attack the visible target.) 

Round 4

Flynt fires several shots, but they all miss Eelhead 3.

(Gere and Freke are now up.) 

Again, Gere and Freke throw themselves at the Eelheads, fangs bared.

Gere Bite: 9 pack tactics with Aurelius cancelled by poison Damage: 6
If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 13 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone. 
Gere then falls back, possibly taking another AoO

Freke Bite: 24 advantage due to pack tactics with Aurelius Damage: 9
If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 13 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.

Round 4

Gere's attack misses, but Freke manages to bite Eelhead 3. (STR Save: 17)

Eelhead 3 falls prone. 

Eelhead M moves from where it was standing around the corner (at I11) and attacks Aurelius.
(No surprise, Aurelius would see the creature when he moved.) 
(Bite Attack: 11 Damage: 7 pierce, 15 poison)
(Claw Attack: 12 Damage: 9 slash) 

Eelhead 3 regains its feet and also tries to attack Aurelius. 
(Bite Attack: 19 Damage: 7 pierce, 15 poison)
(Claw Attack: 22 Damage: 8 slash) 

(Next round - Aurelius is up.) 

"Try to mind control me, will you? Ha!  I'd mount your heads on my trophy wall, but you'd scare off all the damsels!  Next time you speak to your fiendish gods (which will be very soon!) ask for better parts!"

Aurelius' mood lightens a bit, as the eelheads seem to be a manageable foe, at least in their current numbers.

He will aim his first swing at the weaker Eelhead 3.  If it finishes off the monster, he will aim his second attack at Eelhead M, otherwise he will continue to attack 3.

First Longsword Attack: 14 Damage: 9 + 4 fire damage (double if critical hit)

Second Longsword Attack: 14 Damage: 8 + 6 fire damage (double if critical hit)

Elyria moves swiftly hides again (Stealth as bonus action: 14 ) before moving to fire another arrow at the closest standing aberration.
Longbow: 24 Damage: 5 (Go with first roll if hiding unsuccessful or not possible)
She retreats for full cover (to N14)

Flynt keeps the pressure up by firing 3 more bolts at EH3.

Attack: 14 Damage: 19

Attack: 6 Damage: 16

Attack: 8 Damage: 14

(Will wait with Gere and Freke's actions til after posted actions have been resolved if that is okay.)

Round 5

Aurelius hits Eelhead 3 with his first blow and kills it.

His second blow hits Eelhead M.

Elyria again hides for a moment then attacks Eelhead M. Her shot hits.

Flynt narrowly misses with his first shot, the other two flying past as well.

(Gere and Freke are now up.) 

Again, Gere and Freke throw themselves at the Eelhead, fangs bared.

Gere Bite: 21 pack tactics with Aurelius cancelled by poison Damage: 15
If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 13 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone. 
If necessary for Freke to attack Gere then falls back, possibly taking another AoO

Freke Bite: 25 pack tactics with Aurelius Damage: 12
If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 13 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.
(Freke extra crit damage 4 )

Round 5

Gere moves in, the attack hitting but not killing the Eelhead M.

(Eelhead M STR Save:9)

The creature is knocked prone, but tries to retaliate.

(Bite Attack: 16, Damage 9 pierce, 15 poison)

Freke then attacks Eelhead M and hits, killing it.

(End of combat)

Aurelius asks Flynt to watch the trapdoor while he goes up on the roof to see if any more eelheads are headed their way.

Quickly heading up to the roof, Aurelius finds the space empty.  Even walking towards the edges a bit, you see nothing. 

Elyria quickly sneaks over to the trap door and checks for sounds from below.

Gere and Freke joins her.

Freke Perception: 16

On the way back downstairs Aurelius will check the eelhead bodies for any useful items. And the mangler.
