There are definitely a number of cliffs and crags in the area. Aurelius does not note any caves. You could find a perch certainly, and a few might give you partial cover for a time.
Flynt, Elyria and Rahkeshi all fly down into the cover of the forest.
(Flynt - you can make a Stealth Check if you wish - as a Giant Eagle it is +3 and +10 for Elyria's xxx.) (Elyria - you intended to transform but find you have no control over that - you would have the same +13 bonus, so your Stealth roll is 25, not 30.) (Rahkeshi Stealth: 26)

Aur-eagle-us will fly to a rocky outcropping away from the rest of the party, perch there and screech at the dragon, attempting to draw attention to himself.
As it draws nearer, he will use his eagle-eyes to see if there might be a rider on the dragon's back.
Aurelius easily finds a place to perch and your screeching draws the shape to head towards you rather than the others. As the creature closes, you note that the creature has gauzy, fairy-like wings. Certainly not the leathery wings you would expect of either type of dragon you mentioned. It does otherewise seem fairly dragon-like. (Nature Check)
Rahkeshi finds a semi-open space to alight on the ground once beneath the cover of the trees. It seems that she, Elyria, and Flynt are blocked from sight of the creature. Once on the ground she transforms into a Giant Owl.
Elyria the giant eagle lets out a small screech to get the Giant Owl's attention, not sure how to communicate in this form, trying to spot the dragon, remembering the dragon they met in Gwyllinwald.
Aurelius does not know what type of dragon this is, but can definitely rule out blue and sapphire.
Elyria considers Ciymaranthingeir, the dragon in Gwyllinwald, in comparison to the brief glimpse she got of this one in the sky. The distance was great, but the color seemed off. This dragon was blue, more of a cerulean color. Ciymaranthingeir was a dark purple/ indigo color.
Only Aurelius got close enough to note the wings. Ciymaranthingeir had butterfly-like wings, while this one was more gauzy and fairy-like.
Aurelius will remain where he is, hoping the dragon is not immediately hostile. (Did the perception roll in post 3178 help him determine if the dragon had a rider?)
(The distance was far too much to determine if there was a rider.)
The dragon continues to close the distance to Aurelius. As it does get closer there is still no sign of any rider. (How long do you wait around? The dragon seems to move about the same speed you were moving in Giant Eagle form. )
(You are correct that you are unable to change your form back yourself.)
As the dragon nears you can tell that it is a bit smaller than other dragons you have seen (though still large!). It is also more apparent that the creature clearly can see Aurelius. (Aurlius, make an Insight Check to see how well you can judge whether or not the dragon is hostile. Certainly there is nothing blatantly obvious so far.)
Rahkeshi, in Giant Owl form, turns her head looking at Flynt and Elyria in their Giant Eagle forms. (What are Elyria and Flynt doing? It takes some time for the dragon to approach Aurelius. You cannot see either him or the dragon at this point.)

(Aurelius wants the dragon to see him, he is not trying to hide, he is trying to distract it from the rest of the party)
(OOC for Elyria and Flynt: I guess I should have been clearer I was looking for more descriptive information. Are you still flying. How high up are you? Did you perch somewhere? I will note that Rahkeshi is looking to both of you. Elyria, if screeching is supposed to convey something more than 'look at me' Rahkeshi does not look like she understands.)
Aurelius feels like the dragon is clearly lined up to where it could use its breath weapon on you (presuming it has one - but you're fairly sure all dragons do) if it wanted to, once it's close enough. The dragon though seems to be studying you, considering you. Still some distance from you, it calls out in a language you don't understand.
(Having the sense she can't really help Aurelius in this form, Elyria would jump around excitedly on the ground, looking between Rahkeshi, Aurelius and the approaching dragon, hoping to convey this would be a good time to turn her back to her elven form. :-)

Realizing a blue dragon is coming their way, Elyria immediately dives, transforming back on the ground and taking cover in the forest below.
Stealth: 30
(Oops, sorry, will keep that in mind. Elyria has no real way to fight a dragon right now, just so you all know.)
Aur-eagle-us will try to lead the dragon away from his friends, are there any cliffs, crags, caves in sight where he might perch and find some cover?

Would Aurelius be able to tell the difference between a blue dragon and a sapphire dragon by sight?
(Nope, no discernible difference ;-)

Unless there are obvious signs of hostility, Aurelius will continue to screech at the dragon until it arrives.
(Aurelius cannot willingly change back to humanoid form, correct?)

Insight 23
Flynt waits patiently, alneit a bit anxiously as well, to be turned back into his usual form.
