"Be careful Rahkeshi." Elyria whispers to herself, hidden by her illusory shrubbery, ready to aid her friend if the stupid giants wouldn´t fall for the half-orcs bluff.
She also identifies a direction that is relatively clear, I followed you up to here -->leading away from the pair. (And keeps it in the back of her mind, so she could go that way if by some chance visibly was poor.)
(Could you elaborate? The Giants were heading South, to Drakeriver, North is Neadle's Peak, West is where everyone else is and you've started heading East to the Giants? If that helps at all?)
"Black? Was it black or was it wearing black armor?"
(Sorry, clearer to me knowing what I intend! She wants a path in mind where she could make it a reasonable distance quickly if she were blinded - well if everything was heavily obscured technically. Given the directions you stated, probably roughly to the north west.)
"It had black armor, but DEFINITELY was a black dragon. Why? Is there more than one dragon?" Rahkeshi responds in Giant.
Bryant quietly watches all of this from the tree line. He will get as close as he can (hopefully within 40 feet) while remaining hidden in the bush. His hand resting on the sword once again.I hope she can convince them to move on away from town. Two giants would devastate Drake River if they had a mind too.He continues watching them speak in a language he doesn't understand but ready to strike if the need should arise.

Aurelius will dismount and attempt to find a position with cover where he has line of sight to the giants. He will activate the offensive stance of his armored suit.

"It had black armor, but DEFINITELY was a black dragon. Why? Is there more than one dragon?" Rahkeshi responds in Giant.
"That's none of your business tiny thing, and we don't have a black dragon that wears black armor. The only black dragon we have is Spot, and he wears blue armor. Sorry, but that's not our dragon."
Rahkeshi nods at the response. "Oh... my mistake. Did you say your dragon was called 'Snowball'? Drakeriver had some commotion last night. I heard there was a vile elf that had a collar with that name on it. But they headed off east before dawn."
She pauses a moment to see if they have any reaction. "If you hurry you might be able to catch them!"
The Giants converse hurriedly and run off to the east, thundering footsteps as they call to their dead dragon friend. Good job, you narrowly avoided being killed!
Rahkeshi watches the giants head off until the sound of their thundering steps starts to fade. She then looks around, trying to get her bearings back toward the clearing.
(Narrowly avoiding death is just as alive as anything else! I'm glad though!)
As the giants leave, Elyria rushes forward and throws herself at Rahkeshi, hugging her from behind, leaning her head at the half-orcs back. "Don´t ever do a thing like that again." She says with a strong mix of emotions, but the backs off a step. "It...it was very clever though, and very brave, well done my friend." She says looking down blushing again. "What now?" She says to the team.
(OOC: Oh, yes, sorry. Elyria could still need a long rest to be able to fight things like this properly.)
Rahkesh is almost startled at first as Elyria hugs her. She turns, giving the elf a broad smile. "Hey, I had a plan if things went bad."
She pushes her poncho up, indicating a small bottle securely attached to her belt. Tiny wisps of smoke seem to be floating past what looks like a heavy stopper. "Anyway..."
Here her smile fades a little. "I told them someone had Snowball's collar and headed east. That should distract those two for a while. But I mentioned a black dragon - Spot they called him. So that's in addition to the poison spewing one that killed all the orcs. And of course there's at least one more giant those two report to - probably more."
Rahkeshi sighs. "I wanted to KILL those two idiots! They had to be connected to the dragon that decimated the orc village!"
"I´ll be better prepared next time Rahkeshi, and I have a feeling we haven´t seen the last of those two brutes. You will have your chance for revenge soon." Elyria says encouragingly.
"I hope so." Rahkeshi replies to Elyria. "I wasn't sure, but I think we might have taken those two. Thought I'd try to get info though. But I'm not sure what to do now. Not sure the giants will stay fooled forever."
Suddenly Rahkeshi gets a big grin on her face. She steps a bit closer to Elyria, leaving in as though telling her something in confidence. But her voice is not quiet, so everyone can clearly hear. "Did you see that hill giant? Ew! Talk about dressing BAD!"
Aurelius is somewhat disappointed he didn't get to try out the power shot from his suit, but it's just as well, he would hate to have to bury any of his companions, just for the fun of slaughtering some giants.
"Well, do we follow those two morons, or do we back-trace their tracks to their lair?
"Also, from what you remember of the deputy's reports on the other attacks, and what you saw of this orc village's last stand, do we feel that the dragons and their giant masters are solely responsible for the destruction of the settlements? Does it make sense, or are we looking for something more?"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Yeah, you said it Rahkeshi." Elyria says breaking out in a sweet laughter. "I´ll be prepared to take a blind shot just to avoid seeing all of that again." She adds still laughing.
"Perhaps we should check out where they came from. Their tracks should be impossible to miss." Elyria says to the team as she calms down and starts locating the giant tracks. Survival with help from Aelric swooping down to aid her:25
Rahkeshi turns a bit more serious as the group discusses what to do. "The attack on the orc village... I saw only the one dragon attack. But... I can't be sure I saw every detail."
After hearing Elyria's suggestion, she agrees. "Does seem like a good opportunity to find where they're coming from. I say we follow back on their trail."
She hesitates a moment, then adds. "I do worry about Drakeriver. If those giants give up on the wild goose chase I sent them on and come back, they could still destroy the town. And we were sent to protect it."
She then laughs softly. "And I'd like to check out that town we were headed for to confirm if it was a dragon rather than airship. But one thing at a time I guess!"
