"It was a shed.... We should stick close together and be aware of our surroundings at all times." Guilim says as he keeps his weapon at the ready, his head moving all about
Aubrey summons Furvus from it's pocket plane, letting it stay close in ethereal form to keep watch into the ether for them. Perception: 20 Furvus perception: 14 He then follows Rohuzar towards the front door.
"Zip didn't see anything in any of the windows, but some of them have the curtains drawn."He points up to a second story window with only musty cloth behind it to prove his point. "I'm ready for anything, but I'm not really sure what I'm doing. Hopefully we can find it easily enough; I think that'll be the hard part."
You walk up two steps onto the small front porch and approach the front door of Flamewatch Hall. A tile mosaic over the door spells out the building's name in blue and brown colors. As promised, the door opens for Rohuzaras if unlocked.
You enter into the foyer of the manor. No candles are lit and the halls are dim, though the windows and open door provide enough light to see. It is clear the exterior work on the house was matched inside. While the grounds may be a mess, the home has been restored to its former glory. The wood floors are finished and stained and the wood paneled walls show fine detail work.
Immediately to your left, a set of double doors stand closed. They are flanked by low tables, each topped with a decorative stone statue; one a wild boar, one a screaming monkey.
Directly ahead, the foyer opens up into a parlor. The curtains are drawn but you can make out a small piano and some lounge chairs.
To your immediate right is a flight of stairs up to the second floor. Past those, a long hall seems to run most of the length of the ground floor.
Aubrey:
As you admire the manor hall - really, this place is a little out of the Bonnaducci's league, and you suspect they only were able to obtain it due to the estate's haunted reputation - you think you hear something from the parlor... the clicking of nails or claws on wood. But then the sound is gone. Furvus telepathically communicates that it didn't hear anything.

"Did you hear that..."Aubrey says in a lowered voice, then listening again. "I thought I heard something." He says, looking into the parlor. "Something moving"
Grugga nods in appreciation of the fancy furniture and decor, and tries to lighten the mood with a joke. "Nice place. I can see why the ghost would want to haunt here."
He takes 3 small knick knacks or rocks from outside and touches them with a tiny purple gem, causing them to shed bright light for 5 feet and dim light for another 5. He hands 2 to Aubrey and 1 to Guilim. "In case you need to go into a dark room... speaking of which, let's open some curtains as we move."
Leelan takes in the surroundings and readjusting his glasses. At Aubrey’s warning, he turns his attention towards the parlor and tries to focus on any sound he may hear.
Perception: 13
Afterwards, he turns to his companions. "If I recall correctly, we were told that the supernatural activities occurred mainly at night. I believe we should make use of the remaining sunlight to investigate as much as possible."
You strain your pointed gnomish ears but all you can hear coming from the parlor is the ticking of a clock.

Rohuzarand Guilimadvance into the parlor. This area has a piano and several comfortable chairs and sofas to sit and relax. A massive fieldstone fireplace dominates one of the walls. All of the curtains in this room are tightly drawn. A gaming table with 8 chairs sits next to the piano and a tall grandfather clock stands in one of the corners. The walls of this room are full of the mounted heads of game animals. Deer, tigers, elk, and some strange animals you have never seen before. There are also 3 full sized stuffed animals, each in a different corner of the room. Each of them in a different frozen pose. A menacing black bear standing on his hind legs. A tiger crouched as though stalking his prey. And a wolf mounted atop a display table, head back and seemingly mid howl.
Guilimdoesn't notice anything unusual.
Rohuzar:
The taxidermy here is of exceptional quality. The animals, even the head and shoulder mounts, are incredibly lifelike and their glass eyes seem to follow you around the room. It's a bit eerie....
The fireplace seems unnecessarily large. It would be at home in the kitchen of a tavern and looks large enough to hold multiple half logs.
On the gaming table, a deck of fine playing cards sits as though a game was in process. One card sits by itself away from the deck.
Aubrey, make a WIS save.
Grugga, the double door is unlocked. It opens easily and reveals a study. The curtains here are open and light illuminates the mostly empty space. The walls are lined with bookselves - though they all sit empty. A large round rug sits on the floor. Unlike some of the other furnishings, this rug looks much older and the room is filled with the sent of old pipe smoke. An antique desk sits near the side window with an upholstered swivel chair. You check the desk but it is empty. It doesn't look like there is much here in this room.

Aubrey, the statues are disappointingly mundane. They don't look particularly expensive, and the material is common stone. The monkey statue is a little unsettling as the features are carved to make it look terrified, but otherwise the statues don't appear relevant to your investigation.

Aubrey nods at Guilim, intending to follow his leader. "Whereto next Rohuzar?"
Rohuzar looks towards the house, and gestures. He makes to enter the front door, and start his investigations there.
