The woman, still bleeding, with two shafts sticking out of her chest, struggles to stand. A bit of blood trickles from her mouth. She spits angrily at the floor, a gob of blood and phlegm. "Come then primes, I will take you."
The man stands as well. He reaches down, picking up his sheathed blade, but holding it in both hands, as he makes to follow.
The woman walks, with a bit of a limp, struggling to do so with her wounds, but grimacing with glorious purpose and honor, and pushes the door open leading into the next room. The next room is dark, and large. 30 foot high ceilings arch above this 60 foot long by 40 foot wide room. Two large doors made of steel exit this room, on on the left side of the room, and one on the far wall. There are two features of this room that battle for your attention.
The first, is five rows of 8 crystal cradles arranged neatly in the room, each with a baby Githyanki in it. The infants are largely sleeping, though a few are fussing quietly, and one is whimpering a bit more prominently. The room, is obviously some sort of nursery. Several tables with child care paraphernalia are positioned around the outer edge of the room. The crystal cradles and rows of babies are quite a sight.
The other feature of the room is no less impressive. On the far right of the room, three tall narrow slits breach the stone wall of the room. These tall windows look out beyond the structure you're in. Rather than seeing daylight, or a night scene, perhaps a view from a mountain...you instead just see a black field of darkness filled with pinpricks of lights. The pin pricks slowly drift across the view which has no horizon or landscape at all. You are no longer on the world. Whatever structure you are within, you are is floating within the blackness of space.
Thinking to herself, Well shit, maybe the jungle would have been better than this, whatever this is.
Touching the woman Gith lightly on the arm, whispering in her ear, "Is there any healing that you can take before we continue. I am not going to apologize for possibly killing you, but I do feel your pain in this hopeless situation. I have no desire for killing on a whim, but if the need calls for it, I will not hesitate."
The woman flinches away from Mal's attempt to touch her, and hisses angrily towards her. Then she says loudly in heavily accented common, "Don't touch me Prime. Your hopeless situation is yet to be revealed, then we shall see how you squirm."
The man looks at her and says, "Kritinaya, deeth ghantz sordin besh."
Several of the babies startled at her raised voice and begin to squirm and moan restlessly.
With a fierce sneer on her face, the woman turns to the door to the left. The Githyanki male steps ahead of her and pushes on the heavy door that swings open laboriously revealing a long, ten foot wide hallway cut through stone. The floor is polishes smooth but the walls and 30 foot high ceilings are roughly hewn from the rock. Leaving the babies behind, she begins walking you down the long unadorned hallway. The man pulls closed the heavy door and the sound of the babies is immediately deadened. There is something at the end of this long hallway, but it's too distant to tell what it is from here. The woman begins walking boldly forward.

You're perhaps 50 feet down the hallway when you start to be able to make out a room ahead where the hallway seems to naturally widen. A figure can be seen there, what looks like a tall lanky githyanki in silvered full plate adorned with a few sparkling gems. Though what you're seeing behind him takes a few moments for your eyes and brain to make sense of. When the red dragon just behind to the knight finally moves though, its nature becomes clear. The beasts long snaky neck lifts its head from the ground and with hot red eyes it glares down the hallway. The knight there turns as well, seeing the group of you, being led by the injured woman in her sleeping clothes, and the male. His hand immediately goes to his sword.
The male that is with you raises his hand and shouts at the knight at the end of the hallway, "Gathro Raajna tie stanoral!"
The Githyanki knight only sneers in reply, "Barshen Ir'rigo. Sigh casten horn!" Then he draws his blade and leaps into action.....

Not sure what was all going on, Kurik could only base his information off of what he saw. What he saw was some angry giths charging and a red dragon. Raising his sword, he caused it to glow white, then blindingly white and he swiped it across the open area in front of him. From left to right a wall of brilliant, blinding light flashed across the ground and rose up among the dragon and Gith. He then lowered his sword ands spoke the words to cause it to flare up again.
Action: Casting wall of light- 60ft wall, 10 feet high will grow under the dragon and as many of the gith as I can initially hit as well. They take Unable to parse dice roll. radiant damage and are blinded for 1 minute, or 1/2 on a DC 17 con save and are not blinded
The dragon's eyes seem to lose focus for a moment, and then it shakes its head clear and the iris' in it's eyes squeeze to tiny black points as he glares through the blinding bright at the group. The gith meanwhile stops, clutching his eyes and yells loudly in surprise.
Mordekai, Kari.

Kari gives her manic chuckle as the rage of battle comes over her and she dashes forward 20 feet. She stops there and waits for the enemies down the hall to come within range.
Bonus Action: Rage, Instinctive Pounce
Action: Hold an attack for any hostile to come within 10 feet (Rolling now to make it simple. Attack 1 - 19 Damage: 12 Slashing, 3 Rage. Attack 2 - 22 Damage: 14 Slashing, 3 Rage.)
Reaction: If a hostile creature comes within 10 ft, Pole Master Attack - 12 Damage: 8 Slashing, 3 Rage
Mordekai stays back a little and moves to the side, casting Faerie Fire, hoping to catch both the dragon and the Knight in the 20ft cube, prioritising the Knight if not. (DC19 Dex save or be illuminated in magical light, giving advantage to attacks against the creature. Also illuminates any invisible creatures if relevant)
Bonus action: give a d8 Bardic Inspiration to Kari.
The dragon manages to snake away from the glittering sparkles that suddenly fill the air and seem to cling to everything, though between that and the glare of the wall of light it's almost impossible to tell. The knight though, already blinded, seems unable to dodge the flickering light spell and is surrounded with a nimbus of light.
The Knight, blind and stuck in a searingly bright wall, yells loudly, "Yal Creche gez nardok!!"
He meanwhile stumbles backwards, cursing, and holding his blade in front of him, as he retreats behind the wall of light, vanishing from view.
The badly injured Gith woman glances about and without a word or motion seems to twist into a tiny dot of light and vanishes. The other Gith knight snears at the group, and then holds out a hand grasping at the air in the direction of Mal. She feels a magical force seemingly attempting to grab her body as the Gith makes a 'tossing' motion towards the wall of light and dragon.
Mal, make a Strength check vs DC 18
If you succeed, you resist. If you fail, you are moved 30 feet down the hallway towards the dragon... (a couple squares ahead of Kari)
Then Mal is up!
