The owl creature, suddenly ganged up on in a tight space begins to take blows, both with magical blade, and with spells, as the group confidently attacks the demi-god. Two of Mordekai's blasts hammer into the owl goat, and then Kurik flaming blade hits one, its flaming blade sizzling across her side.
Auril reaches out lazily and tries to strike Kurik with a talon.
The owl face regards Mal, and in her head the voice full of venom and confidence says, "Foolish mortal, I can not be slain. There will be no escape from this place for you and I will pick the ring off your bodies when time has turned your bones to dust."
Mal's first crossbow bolt strikes the goddess right in the face. The owl body puffs into a big pile of snow that collapses in a heap onto the ground. (Mal's Action Surge has not been used up, neither have her 2nd, 3rd, or 4th Precision attack, but she has used up 1 Precision attack.)
The howling and screeches across the city continue, and the sound of enemies clambering up the tower stairs, and climbing the very tower on the outside can be heard in the momentary silence.
Then the pile of snow shimmers as it flows upwards into the shape of a 10-foot-tall woman of fearsome aspect made entirely of ice and frost. She has icy spikes sticking out of her body from all over. He emotionless face glances about the room, honing in on Mal....her face looking down to regard the ring on Mal's finger. "There you are."
The woman pulls a chunk of ice off of her shoulder and extends an open hand with the ice chunk sitting within it. The ice chunk glows and then to Mal it's as if the entire universe is shrieking away from her and the gem is becoming everything......

A massive winter wolf comes bounding up the stairs, reaching just the top, looking about at all the tasty mortals it can slay. The tower continues to shake and you hear the overly loud sounds of several things clambering up the outer side of the tower. Just behind the wolf...a huge...sort of human blob shaped pile of ice and snow comes sliding up the stairs, slipping over the edge like a weird blob so that it's within the room.
Everyone witnesses as Mal turns into a swirl of dust and snow that gets sucked into the chunk of ice on Auril's open hand. Auril closes her fist on the ice, her blue hard face grinning a satisfied smirk.
Kari's mind is racing in two different directions, but one thing is clear. Auril cannot be allowed to leave with Mal! She ignores the wolf that just came up the stairs, moving behind Kurik and over by the tip of the anvil. "You can't just take people." Desperate to keep the large ice person inside she does what she knows to do best. "Give."Glaive slash. "Her."Pole poke. "Back!" Kari drops the glaive, braces her feet, and makes a grab for the figure's waist/hips to try and hold her in place.

Kari's swings her glaive forward, slashing at the large ice goddess, then swings it again sending more bits of ice crackling from the goddess. Then, in all her orcish hubris, lunges forward and grabs onto the Queen of Ice and Snow. The ice spikes jut into Kari's hands as she grabs a hold, and the cold that emanates from her ice body is shocking.
Kari, for grabbing the ice queen: 5 piercing damage, 12 cold damage.
In response the Ice Queen "shivers" and swirling chunks of ice clatter around the room in a sudden storm of ice and snow.
Everyone (but Mal) : 11 piercing damage from flying ice.
While she's at it, she takes a swing at Kari who has a hold of her, a mace of ice appearing in her hand...

A creature that appears humanoid is the next up the stairs. The thing appears to be wearing a cloak, but where it's face should be, only a strange dull shining light emanates. It shines its light at Kurik.
Kurik, DC 14 Con save or be blinded until the start of the Walkers next turn.
As Mordekai is hit by the flying shards of ice, he glowers at the ice queen, casting Hellish Rebuke as a reaction for 23 fire damage (DC19 DEX save for half).
Mordekai concentration check for Hex: 10
He follows the rebuke up with 3 more Blasts.

Mordekai then continues to circle away from the top of the stairs, to the north wall.

Dark flames flicker over the ice goddess who growls, while three more powerful blasts of magic strike her, sending chunks of ice flying, and cracks appearing all through her icy body.
Kurik's action. Mal can make another DC 21 Charisma save attempt.

Kurik ignores the blast as it cascaded against him. His attention was solely focused upon the Auril and he gives a small snort. "I've seen Gods bleed and if they can bleed, they can die." He then spit and locked a steely gaze on him and said, "A curse be upon you," as he pointed his flaming blade and leaped at him with two attacks.
Kurik's shield swings from his back and he slips his arm into the straps as his flaming blade swings, dark energy following the swings like a shadow. His first attack strikes the goddess with a hard 'thunk', sending shards of ice....the flame from the blade sending a spray of red and blue sparks into the air when it strikes the goddess.
Auril meanwhile, still in Kari's grip, tries to break free from the orc. Kari, grapple check vs : 18

The 10 foot tall ice goddess pulls at Kari's grip, but the raging half-orc's grip is so strong, not even the goddess can pull free!
The goddess, whose body is covered in cracks, has chunks and shards missing, and is looking very much the worse for wear, grimaces.... and throws the chunk of ice containing Mal out the window of the tower...the shard of ice flashing briefly as it tumbles from her grip and vanishes out of view.
The winter wolf opens its mouth, and a spray of ice cold frost washes across the room.
Kari, Kurik, make a DC 12 Dex save. 13 cold damage, save for half.
The sounds of massive skeletons scaling the outside of the tower grows louder as they near the top.
The big mound of walking snow stomps over to Mordekai, and starts swinging at him.
As the snow-mound-man hits Mordekai, he'll use his reaction to Misty Escape out of the window after Mal. He'd ultimately like to try to catch Mal/the ice shard, but presumably Mal has a headstart in that downwards direction, and it's not Mordekai's actual turn yet.
(He'd have liked to teleport himself a little lower than directly out of the window, but the Misty Escape rule needs to be a "space you can see" - I'm assuming I can 'see' the space in the air out of the window?)
The ice cube gets tossed out the window, flittering just so. A moment later, Mordekai is struck by the snow man, and in reaction allows himself to "bamffff" out the window.
Mordekai, make a Dex DC 15 check to try and grab the Mal-ice-cube.
Oh, and Mal, I forgot, you take 18 cold damage for being inside the ice-cube still. (no resistance from the ring, soooorrry).
Kari panics as she sees the toss, her mind racing with wild ideas, but a moment later she sees the teifling somehow appear outside the window and decides to leave the ice cube to him. Reaching one hand back to where her handaxes were stored she finds her last one and draws it, trying to keep a tight grip with her other hand, shoulder, and head, she hacks away at the icy legs where she knows a vein runs through normal humanoids. Though she's never tried this with an ice person before! "You can't win that easy!"
