Syd is laughing at the old man and the frog thing trying to bite each other. However, if is not dead yet, he will swing his great sword in an arc designed to cleave the frog and not the man.
Cerlinde lays down a nasty curse on the creature and follows up with a fiery blast that seems to largely dissipate against its mottled green skin. However, as you see its veins momentarily darken from the curse, it shrieks in pain and is noticeably weakened.
Unfazed by Ollezall's evocation, the creature attempts to scare Cerlinde. (Please make a DC 10 WIS Saving Throw - Nevermind, creature is DEAD!)
Dyumi's savage attack lands on the creature, but it seems totally unfazed and begins to laugh in an unnatural, guttural tone.
In the midst of this perverse fit of laughter, Syd's greatsword swings down, cleaving the creature down the middle. (Do you all in general like to "How do you want to do it?" for each creature? If so, feel free.)
Another creature materializes directly behind Syd and attempts to slash him with its razor sharp claws. Claws - attack: 15, damage: 5 (forgot Advantage for surprise, one more try) Claws - attack: 9, damage: 4 (and both miss, no harm, no foul)
(That should wrap up Round 1, feel free to proceed w/Round 2!)
Mohdrak stifled a chuckle. 'Well, he would know better than I where the kitchen is.' He followed the cat into the open door.
Following the cat, you fully open the door to enter and find that you are most definitely in the kitchen. The aromas of cooking permeate this room. A large iron stove takes up one wall, and the rest of the room is filled with large tables and racks lined with hanging pots, pans, and cooking utensils. Everything is sparkling clean. As you study your surroundings, you hear a flapping of wings and two small forms land on the nearest table. They bow low before you and ask in squeaky voices, “More honoured guests?! To what do we owe this special surprise? I hope you have more sense than your friend in the gray robe. And how can we be of help to you? Cooking? Cleaning? Mending your clothes, perhaps?”
Cerlinde calls back to Mohdrak in the direction Of the other room —“Mohdrak, we’re heading downstairs.” She then starts going down the stairs, right behind Syd if Syd is ok with that.
Enraptured with the two little widdle creatures before him, Mohdrak failed to hear Cerline's outcry.
'I'm just checking the kitchen.' It was the truth and Mohdrak saw no reason to tiptoe around it. The creatures - Tiny gargoyles? - seemed amicable and wanting to serve. 'Are you the help? Are there more of you?'
A thought emerged from the back of his mind. 'Is the master of the manor in?'
The first of these tiny creatures chirps at you, "Just checking? I certainly hope you'll find it to your liking! I'm Cumin, by the way, and we are indeed the help. We work terribly hard for our masters, although to what end we know not, since we haven't seen them in a very, very long time. I'm afraid we really don't know when they might return." Cumin's squeaky voice trails off pitifully.
Then the second picks up the conversation, "I'm Coriander, what's your name? We've never seem someone quite like you, or as large as you! We're the only two of us, but there are a few of those cats, like the one you followed in." Coriander gestures to a corner of the kitchen, where several small ceramic bowls painted with stylized cats are filled with water and kitchen scraps. The fluffy black cat is there, along with a smaller tabby. The cats are eating from the food bowls and occasionally batting at one another to get the choicer morsels. "There are a few other silly creatures you might run into... DRAGONS!", it exclaims, then falls into a fit of laughter.
Cumin shakes its head while Coriander does little loops in the air while cackling. "Forgive my companion, but I wouldn't worry too much about the dragons. More importantly, is there anything we can do for you? Some bread and soup? A place to rest? Any other questions?"
(Mohdrak can make an Arcana check to see if he can recall any information about these little creatures, if he would like.)
Cerlinde mutters something like “at least they are not kobolds…” and, rather calmly turns her attention and a firebolt at the new creature..
Bonus action moves her Hex to the new creature, (also disadvantage on wis) and then again uses firebolt, recognizing that the first creature appeared resistant to fire but hoping some damage gets through..
Perception 24 : it's odd that this creature materialised when there was no sight of it previously Ollezall thinks. Is there an obelisk...or summoning stone...or active ritual circle causing the conjured fiend. Ollezall looks around and will point out any meaningful results.
In the meantime Ollezall will cast toll-the-dead for 3 damage or 6 if the target is missing any of its hit points; WIS 15 save. " You may be fast, but are you wise abominable amphibian adversary!?"
Religion check 21. In my studious studying, have I come across such a fell beast or can can recall lore passed down from my instruction.

With a combination of his race, studies, and some divine grace, Ollezall is able to recognize the creatures as quasits, minor fiends that are extremely common on the Lower Planes. Further, he recalls that they possess the ability to turn invisible and that their strikes carry the threat of a mild poison. Ollezall does not perceive any active sources of conjuration.
Cerlinde and Syd''s attacks fly wide of this apparently more nimble quasit, while Ollezall's prayers are left unanswered. This must be an extremely rare, battle-tested, veteran quasit, undaunted in the face of danger.
(Oof, I wish my PCs would roll saves that well. @Tesservett, thanks, I think you all are doing great, really enjoying your characters!)

" I think I've read about these little monsters; 'quasits' I think my instructors called them. Spiteful little creatures, their bite is poison, they can turn invisible, and they are resistant to magic."
To their adversary Ollezall will say "why are you here? Were you summoned by the Lady of the house?"
*Come to think of it, you match the description of the monster who attacked Matreous... Which means this place is infested and you are all watching us... Like Kobold...* Ollezall thinks.

Dyumi attempts to tear in to the quasit with his claws, but he feels one catch and painfully snap as he does so. Fortunately, as the transformation recedes, he finds his normal fingernail has returned in its place.
The quasit then makes another attempt against Syd, seemingly enraged at the death of its comrade. Claws - attack: 7, damage: 5
(On to Round 3)
The quasit gargles out a grotesque laugh as Dyumi winces in pain from his mishap. "Trapped here we have been! For so long, weeks, maybe months, years? Powerful wizard brought us, my sister and I, now my sister is dead. Such is the life of a quasit. We would have died sooner in the Nine Hells!" The thing laughs again and pivots slowy around the room, looking you over.
Her curse now directed at this seemingly invincible quasit, Cerlinde is able to strike at an opportune time while the quasit is turning away. Her spell streaks forth, scorching the creature with minimal effect. As before, the icy effect of the curse seems to cause a shudder as the quasit turns toward her, clearly injured.
This quasit follows its sister's lead and attempts to scare Cerlinde. (Please make a DC 10 WIS Saving Throw or become Frightened)
Cerlinde’s confidence vanishes as she sees the creature for what it is… no this is not a mere kobold- but an extra planar evil to be feared! (She’s frightened).
(Cerlinde is now Frightened for 1 minute. She can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of her turns, with disadvantage if the quasit is within line of sight, ending the effect on herself on a success.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(Round 3)
Syd's massive attack seems to strike true, but the quasit somehow still stands. Syd thinks that surely such a mighty blow would have felled a pitiful creature such as this! A sulfurous cloud is emanating from its skin and it is hunched in pain, but it makes one last attempt against Syd, driven onward by an abyssal hatred. Claws - attack: 8, damage: 7
(Syd's anti-quasit shields still at 100%, Captain!)
Dyumi warns the others to get back, then casts Ice Knife. Attack: 9 Damage: 10
DC 14 DEX save or he takes 3 cold damage

Dyumi and Ollezall both call forth their magic at nearly the same moment, one sending forth a wicked shard of ice, the other calling down a sacred radiance. The quasit is caught somewhere in between as it makes a valiant attempt to dodge both.
My word, what a devastating combination! The aim of the wintry dagger is true, striking the quasit flush in the chest, then detonating and driving frigid shrapnel further into the creature. As it writhes in agony, the white hot divine flames engulf the quasit, finally finishing it off.
(You are now out of combat, congratulations! Yes, I know the quasit would normally get separate saves, but the first hit from the Ice Knife would have finished it anyway, so I rolled just the one to see how its demise would play out ;-)
